My car was in need of a smog check and taking it into the Toyota dealership in Dublin, they told me that they weren't able to do it for me and recommended me Smog Station for assistance. I drove here without calling ahead and scheduling an appointment. I drove right up and walked in and was able to get my car the service it needed in less than an hour. I would recommend! Staff is also very chill and great to do business with.

Went in Saturday morning at 10:20ish. There was door but I missed it. A man was there - knew exactly what I was there for. Filled a form - and the job was done within 20-15 minutes.

A little tricky to find, but worth the effort. Guys were super nice, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Same fast service, same good price, same guy Troy (Troy didn't do mine, another nice young man did).

Let's face it: whenever an unexpected car repair comes up, we all hold our breath wondering how…read moremuch our bank account is going to shrink. Most of us like to poke our heads under the hood and pretend we know what's going on, but we usually don't. The next logical step is a repair shop, and many people default to the dealership because they think they can trust them more. In my experience, that's a mistake--dealerships often touch ten things, fix one, and charge you for everything. Luckily, I found Rich and his team. I recently bought a newer car with all the bells and whistles, and I was braced for a huge bill. Rich was incredibly professional, polite, and straightforward. I was actually in shock; he takes the time to educate you on the repair rather than just grabbing your keys and telling you he'll text you later. The estimate was a pleasant surprise, and better yet, there were no hidden fees at the end. The amount he quoted was exactly what I paid. They were on time, efficient, and had me back on the road in no time. It is such a relief to find this kind of service these days. It's nice to know you don't have to pull out a platinum card for a simple repair or an oil change. All the 5-star reviews you see here are 100% true. One quick tip: the shop can be a little tricky to find the first time, but trust your GPS! It will get you there, even if the turn looks a bit hidden. You cannot go wrong with this team!

According to my previous, trusted mechanic who has since retired, and according to a more recent…read moreestablishment that performed a minor job for my Jaguar F-Type, I guess it was time to get new rear brakes. So I shopped around for places with excellent reviews and then compared prices. Performance Autowerk was a top contender, even though it was more of a drive than I wanted to make. As I researched, I appreciated that Rich always answered any questions I had in a timely fashion. Nothing was too small to answer. Once I decided upon his business, when I got there I was expecting him to just usher me in and get started. However, he took the time to check all four of the brakes with some sort of instrument, and then carefully asked me how I knew that I needed brakes. What?! I told him that prior to my mechanic retiring in 2023, he told me that I should expect to replace the rear brakes within a couple years or so. Then a few months ago, another mechanic who performed an oil change but also checked out the health of my vehicle, told me with some urgency that I should get my rear brakes replaced before I would have to do the rotors as well--and that they could take care of it for me for X amount of dollars. When I told Rich this information, he seemed skeptical. He actually didn't think that my brakes needed to be replaced at that time. What?! He asked me if any sensor in the car had alerted me to the brakes needing to be replaced. I told him no. He went on to explain how that sensor would work in my car. He actually did a LOT of explaining to me in general. I really appreciated it. Bottom line: He told me that my brakes would need to be replaced at some point in the near future, but they did not need to be replaced today. He said it was up to me if I wanted to do it today (since they would have to be done eventually), or if I just wanted to keep driving until the sensor came on. Honestly, I was shocked. Usually you expect someone to just take your money and not try to dissuade you. Truly, truly, shocked. Anywho, since I was there, I had him replace the rear brakes, and he had it completed in a couple of hours. He showed me my old brakes and explained exactly what he did and how worn down they were--though again, I still had time to drive with them. To say I was impressed with him and his integrity is an understatement. I would love to keep going to him, but he says he might be done working on Jaguars, because the dealers seem to be a li'l shady with pricing and other areas. : ( Well, if he continues to work on Jaguars, I will continue to be a customer!

He said he will try to get it done by 1 but definitely before 5. I told him the service warning that shows up on my dashboard and he said no worries. He will check and let me know if there are additional work. Called about 3 hours later saying the car is done! No upsell, no long winded explanation. Just told me one concern that should be addressed on the next service time and that's it. Price is much more reasonable than dealership. Just be warned, there is no place to wait. I ended up walking to Panera to wait for my car. If you have someone who can pick you up and drive you back that's better. There is also Johnny's donut a little bit down the road or Taco Bell across the street. Glad to have found a reasonably priced , honest mechanic around here. I'll be back for sure. I was told that he's pretty busy and can't guarantee your calls will be picked up. So I didn't even try to make an appointment . I just drove my car there and hoped for the best.

I had an a accident that caused my driver's side rear wheel to be slanted and made for rough riding. Sof and his technician diagnosed the issue, ordered parts, straightened the wheel. and performed an alignment. My steering wheel was also slanted, but it was straight when the repair was done. The accident also caused a few of my car's high tech sensors not to work. Sof was able to have all sensors work again. Sof was easy to work with, reliable, on time, and repaired much more then the slanted wheel that was the reason for my visit. Sof stayed with the original estimate even though he did a little extra work at no further cost. My steering wheel is back in place, I have a comfortable ride, all sensors work, and when I take my hands off the steering wheel the care stays in a straight line. I really appreciate Sof's easy manner and going a few extra steps that I didn't expect. I wholeheartedly recommend Tri-Valley Automotive.
