I drove out to try this place a few days ago. The employees were very kind, but I felt a bit disappointed by the food flavor and quality. Both our brisket and ribs came out tasting dry and really really salty. The meat did fall off the bone easily, but flavor was just not there for us. The barbecue sauce was also very salty and tasted too similar to Mcdonalds barbecue sauce. It might just be a matter of preference, but this is how I felt after. We had a very helpful clerk that helped us order since it was my 1st time. My son and I shared the waffle fries with Brisket and 3 Brisket tacos. She added a small cup of macaroni and cheese with Brisket. We almost licked the plate clean. The only possible negative was we felt the coleslaw on the taco over shadowed the Brisket. Stopped by because my boyfriend saw the TikTok video of the Mac Rib and wanted to try it! You order at the front and they bring out your food to your table. There's lots of seats available inside and feel like a chill bar vibe. The menu has a HUGE selection of meats and there definitely something for everyone. Summer took my order, and she was so helpful in giving suggestions on what to get! I got the Texas style Brisket Fries and my boyfriend got The Mac Rib. The bbq here was delicious. I had the half pound of brisket and it was so tender, flavorful and the little strip of Fat on it tastes like butter. I also ordered a side of Mac n cheese that was very tasty. My friend ordered the beef rib and hot wings. Now I'm more of a pork rib kind of girl but let me tell you this beef rib was so tender I'm going to order that next time. The inside of the restaurant has plenty of seating and you order ahead of time, they give you a number and deliver your food to your seat. The service was great and Saul took our order and hooked it up with some free cornbread since the kitchen was a little busy. The only items I wasn't too crazy about was the Cole slaw and the pickles. My gf had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. And we shared the Brisket Quesadilla. I had very high expectations and each item met them! The Short Rib Burrito was not on the menu, but I had a dilemma between the Brisket Burrito and The Mac Rib. Our server, Diamond, asked if I wanted to nap the whole day, and I said no, so she recommend that I order the Short Rib Burrito as it has more meat than the Brisket but not too much like the Mac Rib. She was correct! Appreciate you Diamond. It was amazing. And I even had enough room to order the Smoked Cookies and Cream for Dessert which wasn't too sweet but just enough sweetness and filling enough. I came out here for the first time. First things first this place is pretty poppin! There are tons of people coming here in a Friday night. They not only have great food, but alcohol. YES FOLKS you can have bomb food with libations!!! So that's always a plus when looking for a place to eat. The owner is super welcoming and making people feel super welcome. Now the food... So we got a few things from there. I'll start with my favorites. We had the Mac Rib which was delicious!!! It's a layer of Texas toast, a giant rib, brisket and hamburger. The thing I was looking forward to do, was pulling the bone out of the rib. That was so satisfying. The meat is tender. You can totally split with 2-3 people. Also the brisket potato salad was freaken amazing. The genius of putting those two things together!!! I can just eat a huge bowl of that. The Mac and cheese had al dente pasta, and the cheese is creamy. The brisket quesadilla is full of flavor and filled with brisket. The waffle fries are good as well. They give huge servings for everything for the most part. Last is the desssert! The smokey cookies and cream ice cream and mud pie was absolutely delicious. It wasn't super sweet. The flavors were great. Guys don't skip on the dessert!!!! Definitely will come back. I saw that the Smoke and Fire in Anaheim had much more food. So I will definitely check that place out.
