Double hamburger with caramelized onions, bbq sauce, tomato, cherry peppers. $8. Fish and chips - $6.5 instead of fries wanted something extra. Shake $5.5 - mixed with oreos Whole meal around $22 with tip and tax included. Great value. Plenty of spaces to sit and eat inside or outside. Everything seasoned well. Meat is too well done is my only slight. Maybe ask for medium but not sure they'll so it. Great value. Good taste. Grill patties medium and itll be great taste.

Good hamburger with lots of toppings. In addition to hamburger they have onion rings chili fries and oat milk milkshakes. Thank you!!! After placing your order you get a buzzard (?) and find a seat. The buzzard goes off when order is ready. Hamburgers were fresh and cooked to order. The onions rings were crisp and not oily. Fun to sit outside and enjoy nature.

Decent spot to grab anything from chili cheese fries to a hotdog, burger, chicken sandwich, shake, etc. parking can be very limited and tricky. Service is easy going- you walk up place your order, handed a buzzer, find a seat either indoor or outdoor. And once your buzzer goes off you walk up to the window and grab your order. I usually get the grilled chicken sando with fries and a drink. Ambiance is basically a grab and go or grab and sit burger spot. A must try if in the area- it's a classic for the area.

My friend recommended this place. They have a lot of options. You can order grab and go or there is seatinf outside. I like that they have dairy free milkshakes. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwhich and fish sandwich. I loved the fish sandwich the chicken one was okay. I also tried the fries which were good. The bbq sauce was so smokey and good. Overall a great place for a quick meal. The customer service was great as well.

Late night double cheese burger hit the spot! Last time I went with the chili dog. Still think NY dogs rule though.

Drove past this cute little spots several times now and finally decided to give it a shot. We ordered a double cheeseburger, large fries, and the double dog. The food was really good, burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. The fries were also really good. I am not the biggest fan of thick cut fries but these were good -- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The double dog was also good 2 standard hot dogs but it gets the job done. I was also pleasantly surprised by how large the hot dogs were. The food did take a bit longer than I was anticipating but it was fine as we were in no rush. When we did get the food everything was fresh and cooked to perfection so no complaints here. The ambiance was really nice (they have both indoor and outdoor seating) with some grass and string lights set up outside. The food was also fairly priced, will definitely be coming back!

Ordered A double cheeseburger, 2 hot dogs, french fries, cheese fries, onion rings & a strawberry shake. Only complaint is, I asked for no pickles and they still added pickles. Food was great. Love that the french fries were crispy! Will definitely be coming back! Service was quick as hell!! lol Ambiance felt homey.

Had a cheese dog with everything. Don't! The mustard, relish, and onions overwhelmed the dog. Just be advised. Fries are good but needed to be salted

Omg! How can you beat the prices and flavor from this place?! They offer hot dogs, burgers, and shakes. Nothing fancy and straight to the point. You can also mix and match shake flavors at no additional charge which is always a good choice. They have outdoor and indoor seating and a small grass area if you so incline to have your own picnic. The burgers were yummy, my only wish is for the bun to be a bit more toasted so it didn't become so soggy so fast. The shakes were nice and thick! The onion rings were perfectly crispy. We can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Solid burgers! The burger off the BBQ grill ... so great. It was a longish wait for our takeout order but worth the wait. It was a real treat to get chili on my burger. Thumbs up!

Hi Sally S! Is there a way I can get in touch with you directly regarding the Smokehouse? Thank you!

Hello! Feel free to text our store @ 510-845-3640. A team member will give you a direct private channel to contact management. Thank you!

What delivery options will be available when they re-open? DoorDash showed unavailable during the soft opening?

Nobody knows for certain yet, they were super super busy during their re-opening and there were issues with their planned online ordering system. They have closed for a week to figure all this out and will be relaunching December 7th.

Are there open? Since the fire or are they closed for good?

Hi Maria, we had a soft-opening from Friday 11/27-Monday 11/30. Our grand opening is December 7th. We are closed until then to make the changes we learned from our soft-opening. Thanks for your patience!

Does anyone know if they are ever going to reopen? The date just keeps getting pushed out further and further :(

Hi Rebecca, we are almost at the finish line. Our equipment manufacturer responsible for delivering our new grill has continued to reschedule the delivery date due to not being able to catch up on orders. Once this unit arrives, we will be ready.…

    Any updates on the re-opening?!

Drove by 1/5/2020 and though Yelp is saying they're open still the green fence around the place and closed. So sad really looking forward to them opening up again.

Hello, anyone know if it's open yet?

Thank you for the update Sally, we are eager and continue to keep an eye out. Understandable that, that is how those things go (with the grill and all). Best of luck, hoping November is the month. Fingers crossed!

    Is this place back yet?

The only thinking that made it spicy was the homemade spicy mayo, so it wasn't that spicy. I noticed on the menu they have sauces, like Nashville and buffalo. I think next time I'll try one of those sauces to kick up the heat. The cheese I add was not needed, I should have left off. The Fries (4 stars) were coated with potato flour and seasoning, which made a great crispy crust, served hot. The burger was fresh and flavorful--you can taste the quality in every bite. The onion rings were on point too: crispy, not greasy, perfectly cooked. Dipping them into the habanero mayo gave it just the right kick. Definitely recommend that combo. The staff was friendly and kept things cool even though there were only two or three people running the place. The spot itself is small, just a few tables and chairs, with a little bit of Latin music playing in the background, which gave it a nice touch. When I first got there, it wasn't too busy, but by the time I finished, it was filling up. Walked around the block to stretch out, came back 15 minutes later, and the place was packed. What's also impressive is that their fried chicken sandwich was voted one of Yelp's Top 50 Fried Chicken Sandwiches in California, ranking #33 in the state. That's what I'm definitely trying next time. Final verdict: Great burger, great onion rings, friendly service, and a spot worth checking out if you're around University Ave in Berkeley. Two thumbs up from me.

I love that you can choose the doneness of the patty. I went with medium, and it came out perfectly cooked. What I don't understand is why I'm charged an additional $2.50 for the lettuce wrap when I'm not even getting the bun. If you're taking something away, what's the justification for adding an extra charge? I could understand a modest upcharge, but $2.50 for a few leaves of lettuce is hard to justify. I can buy an entire head of lettuce for about that price. What bothered me even more was that no one mentioned the charge when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my food and saw the receipt that I realized I had been charged extra. Customers deserve to know about additional charges before they order, not after the fact. When I politely asked why there was a $2.50 charge, the employee simply looked at me and said, "I don't know." There was no explanation, no offer to ask someone else, and no attempt to address a perfectly reasonable question. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the surprise charge. The burger was excellent, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. Or maybe I'll just bring my own lettuce next time. Better yet, just give me the burger without the bun, and I'll wrap the damn thing myself when I get home.

We came on a Tuesday night and yet the restaurant eventually got busier through the night. My favorite dishes were: Yellowtail Sashimi and Corn Riblets are both great appetizers and full of flavor. We should have double ordered to split among five. The half roasted chicken had crispy skin and was fairly well seasoned and moist. I don't indulge in desserts as much these days but if split a few desserts among five people you get 1/5 the calories, LOL! The mussels themselves were tasty and appreciated that they were able to leave out the chorizo. However, I wish that they brought a spoon and there was more broth. I tried some of my mom's veggie burger and the red color from the beets made it stand out from the usual veggie burger. The fries tasted homemade. I had a slice of the pizza and while I like the ingredients themselves, the combination just didn't do it for me. The crust was good though! We also shared a green goddess salad, which was tasty. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and given the option to dine inside or on the covered patio. Although it was beginning to rain, we opted for the outdoor seating for the ambience. The fire pit, heated lamps, and the umbrellas really set the tone for a relaxing dining experience. The boys ordered a plain hamburger with curly fries, chicken tenders with skinny fries, and Oreo milkshakes. I decided on the specialty western burger and a Turkish coffee. I was assured the kids' fries would be plentiful, so there wasn't a need to order à la carte. The food was delicious and flavorful with great portion sizes. For the appetizers, we got the caprese salad ($19), cheesy garlic bread ($14), chicken wings ($18), and BBQ pork riblets ($18). The caprese salad was one of my favorites. The spring mix was super fresh, and even though I'm not the biggest cheese fan, I really liked the fresh mozzarella. The vinaigrette had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, making this a great spring or summer salad. The BBQ pork riblets and chicken wings were both a little dry. I liked the seasoning on the riblets, while the chicken wings were a bit lighter in flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was, as expected, super cheesy! I didn't realize the roasted garlic was served on the side, and personally wasn't the biggest fan of its flavor, but the focaccia itself had a great texture. We also shared the Aries ($22), Mercury ($21), and Cassiopeia ($25) pizzas. The Aries was a classic pepperoni pizza with a nice thin crust, and the Mercury was a margherita pizza. I liked the fresh tomatoes, although I wish there had been more basil. The Cassiopeia was my favorite of the three, and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The BBQ sauce was super flavorful and paired really well with the chicken and onions. Jupiter has a lively atmosphere and a really nice outdoor patio with live music, making it a fun spot for group dinners. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a larger group.
