ok hear me out, after placing my upteenth order and browsing reviews because I placed an order for "asap" at 7AM and then my status said "530 to 545" PM and I tried the online chat...wasn't even available. Then had to google their number cause it's not on their website and she says "it should be there by 12, they'll call 15 min ahead". ok first of all how is that asap? second of all.. she didn't even give me the option to cancel or give a reason as to why she just said what she said and told me to have a nice day. Rude. And a few times now I've gotten a bag of basically sticks and seeds and leaves..I didn't complain (my mistake but from these reviews it would be useless anyway) and it legit smelled like... nothing. I've tried (almost) everything off their entire menu and honestly the sad truth is their shake is better than most buds and at least it's already ground up. except blue dream. that was like oregano. they have NEVER asked for ID and I've had SO many different drivers. (2 stand out who are hella nice! the rest absolute AHOLES with attitude problem. like aye if you're unhappy doin what you're doing, change something about it, don't take it out on the customer. also how much are y'all tipping cause I got helllla attitude from some beezy for tipping $12...I'll admit I usually do 20 to 25 but I didn't have more cash on me and she was like MAD at $12 tip. idk also one of their delivery drivers still hits on me cause they have our numbers. and after seeing all the reviews about the, selling our info.. I've gotten so many weird texts and calls I just wasnt sure why. DAMN IT now I have to look for a new delivery spot with similar hours. I have a $12 "reward" I should've used today damn it. I wanted to love this company, but unfortunately I was given a runaround today. I placed an order at 9:30 and waited the 2hrs before contacting customer service. Customer service told me my order was on hold, but could be delivered from 2-4pm. I said ok. Then, I received a voicemail saying Blue Dream was out and it would be replaced by a different strain. When I called back, they then told me the price I ordered could not be honored because there was a glitch in the system and this was at 1:55pm. I was given a runaround, my price was not honored and they had ample opportunity to tell me this prior only to waste my time. THE BCC NEEDS TO GIVE THIS PLACE A VISIT!!! By far the worst delivery experience I've ever had in the Bay Area. Customer service at smoakland is great... COMPARED TO SHIT. If you have an issue they will hear you but they won't listen. 1. I did not receive any updated ETA text messages. I received a call from a random number that did not state they were delivery or affiliated with smoakland. 2. The driver arrived and left my address all with in 8 minutes. 3. The driver told me "call smoakland and figure it out I'm off now" 4. When I was finally able to reach someone after 20 minutes of being on hold and no response to text messages I was told the ETA messages weren't working. TELL THE CUSTOMER BEFORE HAND. HOW UNORGANIZED IS THIS PLACE? 5. The driver arrived 2.5 hours later, didn't have my correct order, I asked for something "indica" only to receive a response of "WhAt iS tHAT?" Nicole lied about the time my product would be delivered. apparently they overbooked the window I picked and now my order is going to be 1.5 hours later than the window chosen. (online dispensary anxiety) . This is not a real thing but it is. Let me explain. Before I switched completely over to phone orders, I can honestly say that I've wasted a couple hundred dollars going off information from the website. If you want to know how good a strain is or what is selling the most no matter the category then I suggest you definitely call in during business hours. You will save yourself a lot of time and will be less likely to experience ODA. Now on to my rep... Jean... Jean Jean Jean, what can I say except for, thank you. If you ever call in an order and you happen to be greeted by Jean just know you're in good hands. She handled everything like a pro. She answered all my questions all my concerns and even applied a discount from an order that I was previously dissatisfied with. (the previous order I was dissatisfied with was a strain that a different representative told me did not contain seeds and when I purchased the product there were a few not a lot but seeds were present in the strain I ordered). Jean answered questions like a question I'm going to answer for a few of you right now. Is there anyone out there on the text messaging list? Have you ever wanted a deal that happens before the day you can purchase and apply promo codes and such? Well at first I was told no by one representative but when I explained it to Gene she said it was perfectly fine. Let me explain. The same day delivery menu is usually limited due to high demand and/or availability. However, next day delivery offers you a few more options because they're not trying to get it out to you same day and they have a little more time to prep your order. My question was if I'm receiving an order next day, can I get next day deals and promos? Basically if I'm calling in on a Friday where they usually offer 15% off your order but the items that I want only qualify for next day delivery, could I apply Saturdays deal which for me is always a quarter of exotic fire with a free shatter or crumble on a Friday order. Without hesitation Jean understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish. The only way any of these deals are a deal is if they are applied on the day that you receive your item(s). That means if I'm trying to get a Saturday deal delivered on Saturday, I have to call it in Friday. However if you are ordering for next day then the same day you order, that day's deal should not be applied to your next day delivery. Let me explain. I placed an order on Friday for three exotic fire strains. on Friday you don't get any free crumbles or shatter but you usually get 15% off your entire order. Two of the three strains that I chose were only available for next day delivery. So after I got off the phone with the first representative I realized that since I wasn't receiving my order on Friday why was I receiving 15% off on an order that wouldn't be here till Saturday. If I'm paying for it Saturday why am I using Friday's coupon/promo code. So I was thinking if they can apply a Friday promo to a Saturday delivery they should be able to apply a Saturday promo to a Friday order. When you think about what I'm saying there's really no difference. To make a long story short I called back and got Jean. She took care of everything. She understood exactly what I was trying to do and went above and beyond in my opinion with her customer service skills. I myself used to be a customer service representative for Safeway and believe me understanding everyone's questions are concerns is not an easy task but Jean was a natural in; troubleshooting and executing my discrepancies perfectly. This absolutely pains me to have to write a review like this, this place has been my absolute rock and chain for the last two years. Today that has changed, they have lost a customer. The respect that I was given through a sheer misunderstanding was absolutely repulsive, I misunderstood what the price was by four dollars and the Lady on the phone laughed at me thank goodness I was able to tuck my tail between my legs and find some quarters. I am disabled legally blind and use this for medication for my glaucoma. This company has fallen a lot in the past year and today showed more so than ever. I misunderstood four dollars when I give them over $300 a month. Don't know if that's good business or not but I don't think it is.
