My recent experience at Smokey Bones was extremely disappointing. Despite being regular customers, we have noticed a significant decline in food quality and staff behavior this year. On our last three visits, the staff seemed dismissive and inattentive, which left us feeling like a burden. Yesterday evening, we decided to give Smokey Bones one last chance. However, the service was unacceptable. Our server took 20 minutes to appear, and when we tried to order drinks, we were told they were out. The server made us feel like we were wasting his time when we explored other drink options. Although our entrees arrived promptly, the appetizer was missing, and the server even forgot our order and had to ask us again. After another 20 minutes, our appetizer finally arrived, but it looked like it was thrown together hastily. We were so disappointed that we decided to leave instead of having another drink. The staff's hostility made me feel very uncomfortable. Overall, this was an unacceptable experience, and I will not be returning to Smokey Bones. read more

My family and I have been coming to the Citrus Park location since it opened. We frequent just about every "new" place that opens nearby however few get us to return and even fewer still get us to return as often as this specific location has over the years. It is the consistency of both the menu and the staff. It's the people that make or break return business. Of particular note at the Citrus Park store is Holly. Some years ago she had our initial drink orders memorized after only one or two visits. We now only ask for her because of her friendly personality and unfailing attentiveness to our table when we visit. Nowadays it is unfortunate to realize that level of service is rare and, by contrast, Holly has been the exception! In addition to Holly, Store Manager "Q" is always a friendly face when we see him. Always friendly, smiling and very welcoming. The Smoked Wings and Spinach Sirloin salad are exceptionally good and my favorites. Keep up the great work and especially at the Citrus Park location. Fantastic Experience at Smokey Bones from the service to the great food I suggest getting the Combo St.Louis and Baby Back rib platter - Great Food What a great experience from the host , to the servers and the Food taste great. Always easy. That's how I feel I am going to get it when I walk in the door, and that's how I always leave there feeling. Juan is normally treating me like a good nephew from behind the bar. Brian, one of the managers, is a solid gentleman who runs a smooth playful crew when he's running the Point. Dessie, is always very friendly and loads of fun when she's behind the bar. love to visit with the gang from time to time to get some work done on my laptop, especially after I get in a jog on the nearby trail--They're like me getting to the gigantic reward for the sweat. I come here regularly. I like their efficient and friendly service. Their baby back ribs and sweet potato fries are my favorite. My waitress last week were Holly and Jessica. They were both very friendly and efficient. The supervisor, Nancy, would stop by to say hello unless she was extremely busy. It is very convenient since it is just two miles or so from my home. If my husband were with me, I would order the Bon Fire which has about 5 kinds of meat with roasted potato wedges, and sweet pepper. The loaded nachos is ,also, very good. My wife and I stopped at smokey bones on our way home. We had been driving for 8hours and we were starving, The food was amazing. Our server Holly was very sweet and pleasant. She helped my wife find something she would like and she did. Unfortunately where we live there is not a smokey bones but anytime we are in Tampa again we will be sure to come back, Hopefully Holly will be our server next time too. Amazing experience! I am so glad to see that Nicole is back, we will definitely be coming back more often to see her. My Mother made a mistake while trying to take the survey on the tabletop computer but Nicole informed us we could leave a review this way as well. Everything was fantastic! First visit to Smokey Bones. Holly greeted us personally, then proceeded to knock our socks off. Other staff had called off sick, so she was greeter, server, bartender, cashier, bus person. Sunday night is a great night to come and sit at the bar for a well deserved cocktail after a rough shift! The food is awesome, however the service is what really makes this experience. Nicole is an amazing bartender with a phenomenal personality! She is always friendly and smiling and can hold a great conversation. I love the pork nachos. I get them every time I come. They also have the bones reward club which allows you to accrue points with each meal. It took me about a year and a half to get enough points for $20 off my ticket, but hey at least its something. Overall the environment is nice. The staff is friendly. Came back to have dinner again and as always Nicole was a doll. The restaurant was very busy which is nice to see again. Christmas time is upon us and everyone working in the service industry and in retail deserves a huge pat on the back and a reminder that they are appreciated! I am new to this yelping thing so hopefully I'm doing it right. Finally stopped by this location late last night with my Son to try out some of the late night specials. Really enjoyed their late night happy hour for the second time in a row now. We had the happy hour pork belly tacos, pulled pork nachos, and boneless wings and they were amazing for the price. Food is amazing. The brisket was tender with bold flavor, the Mac n cheese, to die for, it had a smokey flavor to it. My girlfriend had a burger that was cooked perfectly and was juicy, she ate it all except the bite she traded me for my remaining Mac n cheese! Oh and the service was good as well. read more

Chad was the best server I have ever had. He brought us our food very quickly and kept checking back for refills and the quality of the food. They were short handed and he managed to keep the place running with a full house and people at the bar. Dawn the manager was also very sweet. read more
