The staff was extremely helpful in getting our order placed and making sure we had everything we needed and also allowed us to pick up our food before the restaurant was open to the public. We were absolutely blown away by the amount of food we received for what we paid and the quality of everything was stellar. Stopped in for the Patriots game this passed Sunday. Had a great experience for my first time here. Atmosphere was great, and the beer selection was even better! My sisters 26th birthday. Chose S bonz. Man what a mistake. BBQ PORK TASTED LIKE SAWDUST. The unprofessional Female bartender whom did a good job in the service area felt it her responsibility to hit on my sister and flirt with her to the point that both of us became uncomfortable. I did not bring up to mgmt out of respect to my sis. I guess as professionals anything goes in certain industries. NOT IN MY WORLD. A profession is a profession. Spending over 80 dollars on 2 meals with drinks and being treated as objects is unacceptable. Regardless of where you sit, bar or table, just serve with a smile and do not allow employees personal bents and flirtations be permitted for any reasons on your guests. Wont go back. We have always enjoyed Smokey Bones.. We go there often as it is children's favorite place.. Well we went ther last night. Found they started offering new sauces which are fantastic, BUT I guess they have been purchased by someone and now they are shooting for a "Hooters" theme... :( As the mother of 4 children and 2 of them being girls at very impressionable age (13,12) I was very disappointed to see some of the waitress walking around with their belly rings hanging out, Boobs half exposed, leaning over tables with bare skin exposed.. I addressed it with my waitress who was not happy with the changes but she informed us they are encouraged to "EXPRESS" themselves.. I also commented to the manager on duty who was a young guy and probably into that kind of thing so not sure it will go to far. I ordered a rack of original ribs for takeout. The ribs had a hard crust on them, as if they were precooked and thrown on a grill to heat up. They also had little meat on them. Went here expecting to get a fire started in my mouth with the Southwest Scorcher burger. For a burger it was ok, but it was no where near close to anything scorching. The meat paddy tasted like a prefabricated frozen burger, and the burger bun was dry. The salad on the burger was very good and crisp. If it wasn't for the assortment of BBQ sauces on the tables, this would have been a far below average experience. The place has an awesome atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. read more

I used to love this place but was APPALLED by the service I received there last week. I went there on a Saturday evening after a long day with my family. The waitress came over pretty quickly to take our order. It took around 50 minutes for them to bring me a raw steak which I sent back. This took another 10 minutes to come back cooked properly. I had hoped dessert would be better and we ordered some cheesecake bites which were dryer than Betty White! I sent them back and asked for a bag of donuts instead and as the waitress, Kate, turned away from our table, she ripped a Wally as she walked away! I have never had such bad customer service in a restaurant. When our bill was brought to us I asked to speak with the manager. I waited about 10 minutes and ended up leaving because my daughter was falling asleep. I ended up just leaving the money on the table and walked out without anyone saying a word to me. read more

Other than that the stalls themselves are as cleanly as they could be. On your way to your table you may see some things here and there; water, paper straws, spoons. The floors are the weak link in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. When you sit down at a booth usually there is nothing to be seen, but sometimes there will be napkins and crayons on the floor, not a disgusting amount, just a few. When you walk in, you're greeted with a friendly smile and a, "hey how are you doing today?" Accommodating you with what you need; take out or to dine in. If there's a substantially long wait they offer you appetizers and drinks. There are couches and seats for those waiting in the meantime. You're greeted by your server in a timely manner and no matter what the wait staff are always very pleasant and fun. They are knowledgeable about the menu and what makes this restaurant stand out from the rest are that the servers who are honest with you. If they preferably don't like something on the menu, they'll tell you if they ask, but what they will and point out their absolute favorite item. If you are to visit this lovely restaurant at any point in time, you are assured that it will be more than just enjoyable, it will be spectacular. Went here for a friends Birthday recently. It was amazing. Perfect selection of draft beer, and sports playing everywhere. Wings and burgers here are to die for. Monday is definitely the best night to go, for all you can eat wings. Extremely friendly staff, that always caters to your every need. Has everything a customer could ever want, plus so much more. There's also a bean bag tossing game called Cornhole that you can play. I would recommend that everyone try it at least once. But don't take my word for it. I was here yesterday and there was a lady with a dog in there eating. No this wasn't a service dog, this was a small dog. I saw her walking with the manager and I thought he was asking her to remove the dog, but she only was taking the dog outside to do his business and she came right back in there with the dog. Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered the mix BBQ for two that comes on a mini grill. Kind of gimmicky and really not enough coal to generate enough heat to keep food warm. Everything was good except the chicken breast that was covered in a tannish brown sauce with onion bits. The chicken wings were so good we ordered more. I have a severe allergy to beef and pork thanks to a tick bite - I've been to the ER twice in the last three years thanks to contaminated food - so obviously it doesn't seem like Smokey Bones would be the best place for me. Before my allergy, my family loved this place. Since my symptoms started, I haven't eaten here just to be safe. Tonight we called for takeout and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich - and specifically told the person taking the order about my allergy. I even joked on the phone that I didn't want to go to the ER. When we got the food back to the house, I opened up my box to discover that the kitchen had put several slices of bacon on my sandwich. I literally couldn't eat it. The only bit of the sandwich that wasn't contaminated with bacon was the bottom bun. We called to let them know what had happened. The response was very lackluster, even when we told them the rest of the food was also cold, despite my dad waiting for 20 minutes for the food. My sandwich was taken off the bill, but otherwise, "Oh I'm sorry, I hope you have a good night!" I don't think my family will be ordering from Smokey Bones again, not if they can't take allergies seriously. read more

Whenever I go there, I always get the wings! They have plenty of drinks to choose from and have a fun atmosphere. Never had a problem with service. I went there a few times for lunch and had a server Emily wait on us and she is always prompt with our orders and making sure we have everything. Overall, great time anytime I have gone. read more

I guess I will go against the tide and say that I really like Smokey Bones. They are one of the few BBQ places around that have a BBQ sauce that I will eat. Apparently I like mine on the sweet side, not the vinegary side. The pulled pork is great and the ribs are tasty. Love the cole slaw and the baked beans. I don't eat in the restaurant often, but when I do I get me an order of pretzel bones. The multitude of TVs in the restaurant is distracting and a bit of a turn-off, so I usually get takeout. Parking Looked crowded, parking lot was huge and full - but once inside not crowded at all. Atmosphere: Comfortable, but not exactly inviting. Humerous "Boneism" posters everywhere; a few were inappropriate for younger children. Menu: Huge selection of food items. Overwhelming for a first timer - build your own burger was a highlight, though a costly one. Huge selection of alcoholic beverages - probably since they turn from a restaurant into a "bar" after 10pm. I enjoyed the varied food selection, and multiple sauce options to accompany whatever you order. Smoked Eggrolls were very tasty and well seasoned. Ribs were flavorful and smokey, but the dry rub was -very- salty, be careful - could still taste it through dessert :-( Garlic steak wasn't much to write home about, watery in flavor though very garlicy. Prices: Average to high. I've been to pricier places, compares relatively the same to other "chain" steakhouses. Following a funeral for a fellow actor, I and a bunch of friends wanted to go out for dinner -- many of us in costume. We ended up deciding on Smokey Bones at the last minute, and walked in, warning the staff that there were at least twenty of us coming. We ended up numbering about 45! And yet, though we had given the poor staff no warning of our coming, and though they were clearly understaffed (probably expecting a typical slow, Monday afternoon in February), the entire situation was handled expertly. They pushed together a large number of tables in one section of the restaurant for us, we barely had any wait to be seated, and we received excellent, efficient service the entire time we were there. I'm not sure I have EVER seen a better restaurant staff! I had actually never been to a Smokey Bones restaurant before, but I was very pleased with the quality of the food and drink, and very much intend to visit again! read more

My wife and I have lived in Texas for sometime and know what is good Texas BBQ. Somebody who knew we were from Texas recommended the restaurant to us. Granted there was a line of folks going into the restaurant. Well if you don't know what good is suppose to taste like, then this could be your restaurant of choice. For us who know our Texas BBQ we spent too much (a $1.00 was too much) for something that was not. So I am giving it a one star, it really deserves a big zero. The only thing the brisket had in common to Texas BBQ was that beef brisket was used and who knows maybe the beef came from Texas. The rest was one big culinary miss-interpretation, resulting in wrong at many levels. Hey we don't do Pizza too well in Texas, as Pizza Hut is the Pizza of choice. The food is great here. I was skeptical about trying it for awhile because whenever I get BBQ at chain restaurants I do not enjoy it.. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I like getting the ribs, their smoked chicken wings are also very good. I have never had smoked chicken wings before, but they were great, and I would recommend them.. you can't go wrong. It is a bit loud, as it is more of a bar/sports bar scene. It is still perfectly suitable for families with kids, there are plenty of seating options outside the bar. If I could give no stars I would. One night it took over an hour to get a table. After finally walking through the restaurant i saw there were many open tables available. Worst of all the manager didnt seem to care. When I informed the hostess I was disappointed she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said no because he didnt seem that friendly. Service was extremely slow. Server explained she was slow due to pregnancy and over worked, arguing with kitchen etc. Food was cold and a long hair was discovered in my pulled pork. ManAger arrived and defended server as he cleared dishes and empty drink glasses that were long left behind. He returned with a new meal that was also cold. Cold meal was returned to another server. Manager delivered another new meal that was hot. Criticized his management skills which he chose to defend and left our table. Server returned with bill and said your bill was paid for by me. Questioned that management took her money to pay she then revealed she voluntarily paid drink tab and then asked us to never return. This is my first time writing a review for any restaurant. This is absolutely the worst service I've EVER experienced. My friend and I didn't mind waiting for our table which was a 45 minutes wait, but when we finally got to our table, that's when everything went to hell! Our server came and asked us if we wanted something to drink, which we ordered and I asked for water too. Our server only brought out our other beverages and not water. Then she didn't come back until another 20 mins to put in our meal, which was only wings, since it was wing's night. Then we pressed the button to call our server, whom didn't come until another 30 mins, when we asked another server to call her. She didn't even apologize that we had to ask another server to call her, which I thought was disrespectful. I noticed she only had 1 other table. She served her other table but barely acknowledged my friend and I. We ordered another plate of chicken which she never put in. Um okay what's the point of ordering all you can eat wings for only a plate? She said she would bring us boxes but never did and had the nerve to come to the table to ask us to pay first?? Um okay? Then asks us if she brought take out boxes for us, clearly no because we still had plates full of food. I don't understand how someone can forget so many things. We were paying customers, too, not just the table full of guys. This dinner should have taken about 45-60 minutes, turned into almost 2 1/2 hrs dinner! read more
