We were out shopping and wanted to get dinner before the long drive home and Longhorn sounded great. It's a pretty standard looking Longhorn with the cowboy decor throughout. There was nobody in the restaurant when we arrived at 8pm on a Tuesday. We thought they were closed, but we were welcomed and seated at a booth. We both ordered sodas, the tonion to share, and each ordered steaks. The stakes came out super thin and were unfortunately way overcooked, but they were seasoned really well. Went with some friends on a Friday night, and let me tell you, patience was the real MVP of the evening. We sat down and waited a solid 20 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. At that point, we were seriously considering asking the hostess if we could just go behind the bar and pour our own drinks. The waitress, bless her heart, was friendly--though you could tell she was either tired, overworked, or just counting down the minutes until her shift ended. Food took a while to arrive, and when it did, it was... fine. Not terrible, not amazing--just kind of "meh." It wasn't the steakhouse experience I was hoping for, and honestly, I've had better steaks at places that don't even try to be steakhouses. It wasn't too busy on Sunday afternoon when I visited, and I waited around 10 minutes to get seated. Food: The bread was delicious. Nice, fluffy, and warm when it came out. I found myself asking for more. The chicken appetizer is pretty delicious, nicely sauced and reasonably priced for less than $10. Clam chowder was decent. Service: This is where the -2 stars comes in. Julie was my server and her attitude was off putting. Between the gum chewing, lack of a smile, not coming by to check the table, no water refills, having to ask multiple times for missing food, and overall not being very friendly is enough to prevent me from coming back for awhile. I don't see other servers having this issue, though, so hope everyone including myself can get waited on by someone else. read more

We recently stopped for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and seated almost immediately without having a reservation. Dining room was about 1/2 full with the same at the bar. Our server was very pleasant and attentive which made our meal relaxing and enjoyable. I have never disliked any choice I've ordered until today. Lunch menu chicken sandwich. I can only think that it sits in salty brine before coating for frying. I am a salt-aholic, people tell me all the time. But this sandwich was too salty. The combination with too much pepper in the coating turned me off. Was in the area on a shopping trip to take advantage of NH zero sales tax and decided to give this particular LongHorn location a try. Overall it was a good visit we were pretty happy about our dining experience here. The service was a little lacking but nothing too extreme, I visited on a 2pm Friday afternoon and was quite surprised on how busy it got during this time so we had just a little bit for a table to free up. Our server was very methodical and straight to the point which I enjoyed. The burger I got was very good and really have no complaints, the potato side I thought was a little too salty though, probably too much of the salted butter mixed in but I guess to be expected. The steak portion was quite huge and it definitely tasted great, it was just a bit unevenly cooked as it gets bit more rare toward the middle as it tends to be thicker so I can understand that it wouldn't be perfect. We ended up having some leftovers so that worked out after putting it on the grill again for a few minutes. Overall for a LongHorn chain restaurant this is a good location, food are all great as expected and really had a wonderful time dining here. read more

I was a regular customer for years until recently. We have seen a significant decline in service (especially) as well as in the food. The past two times (a Tuesday and then a Wednesday evening with very few customers in the place) have been very disappointing. Not at all what we were accustomed to at the same restaurant. The first time, my wife and I waited 15 minutes for a server (after being seated). The soft-drink order took another 10 minutes, the food even longer. The server seemed too preoccupied to listen, but my wife's baked potato was rotten (literally) and the "steamed" broccoli was cold. The second time (the second chance) was this evening; this time it was my wife, myself and two grandchildren (ages 5 and 10). The wait for a server, after being seated, was again way too long (again very few customers in the place), the server was not attentive in the least - plopped the food down on the table (minus the side of dressing I ordered) and ran off as I attempted to order a second soft-drink; returning only much later with the check (before I had a chance to ask about ice cream for the kids). Sadly, I doubt there'll be a third last time. read more

Usually, I have a good experience here. I went on the 27th of October, and the waitress Jennifer was awful. I'm usually pretty lax with waitstaff. My sides well I was so happy to get something different than what other places offer. Having a Baked Sweet Potato made my day. You must try their Mac and Cheese it is so good and it is delicious! I am writing a review to commend two fabulous Longhorn Employees. I would first like to thank our server Patrice for being so kind, and accommodating to my needs. She made my partner and I's date night one of the best we have had since starting to visit restuarants again post-covid with her great service. I would also like to thank Adam Porter for his amazing service as a manager at the restaurant. As a past server I noticed that he made it a point to help out his staff by running food, bussing tables, and checking in on as many guests as he could throughout the night including my table. He even helped coordinate an ENGAGEMENT that took place in the parking lot! It was such a special night, and I will not forget the incredible service and food! The broccoli is not good at LongHorn steak house. I have ordered it 3 times now and it has been way over cooked every time. Broccoli should be cooked in boiled water for 2 to 3 minutes then taken out when it's still got that nice crunch but not to crunchy. and then use cold water to stop the cooking process. This is some members of my family's favorite birthday treat. Their food is good and there is enough variety for everyone. This is a safe bet for a large group to get good quality food. They don't take reservations but do have call ahead seating which we did. We still had to wait 45 minutes so I'm not sure they put you on the list until you get there. read more

Did curbside to go. The curbside function was smooth and good enough, but the food is merely mediocre, and wasn't exactly hot when they brought it out. By the time I got it home it was lukewarm at best. The biggest complaint is the portion sizes: they've really shrunk, a lot, but the prices remain the same. Barely any steak in the order of steak tips, they were tiny and not numerous. Chicken tenders are tiny. You get the idea. You're not really getting a lot for your buck here. Drive up to exit 8 and get takeout from the Texas Roadhouse instead if you care about value for your money, and want a casual steakhouse. 2 stars instead of 1 because the food is at least okay and the curbside service was okay, although the food seemed like it wasn't made freshly given the temperature. read more
