On Sunday, March 1st, my husband and I visited the Tyngsboro location. We're repeat diners and often come throughout the summer with our Corvette Club, which has quite a few members. We always order the same dinners--House Baby Back Imported Ribs with two sides and garlic bread--and expect the delicious, fall-off-the-bone ribs we love. We were seated immediately since it was early, around 4:30, and had a very nice server who took our order. Shortly after, he brought out the most disappointing plates of burnt, fatty signature baby back ribs. When we asked to return them for what we ordered, we were told there were no imported ribs and they were substituting the signature ribs until their delivery on Tuesday. The server encouraged us to try them, but they were awful, so we asked to speak to the manager. She came out with no apology or explanation and just encouraged us to try the meal. We refused, and my husband offered to pay for his beer before we left to go somewhere else. She then told us they were creating a new menu and trying things out. There's a server we've had many times who is wonderful--unfortunately, I don't know her name--but she was bartending that day. When we were leaving, she came over, happy to see us, and we chatted before my husband shared the story. She went out back and got another manager, who listened and apologized and then rudely walked away. This whole experience was totally unacceptable, and I plan to share it with others so they can beware. read more

Until last night this was my favorite ladies night spot! The appetizers were half price for the guys and free for the ladies! We came every week aling with friends and would often spend upwards of $60-70 even with the great prices...mostly spent on super tubes of beer and some of the great $2 shots. However....as of last week everything has been changed...and not for the better. No more half price apps after 9, a drink that I regularly have went from $6.75 to $9.25 and our server who has been our server every week that we go there failed to tell us of the chainges so when our expected bill of $60 came and it was $110 we were in shock...the manager was nice enough to make some adjustments however only in the amount of $15 so we were still almost $30 over the expected so this time our tip was less than usual due to the amount that we all had to put in. She had the nerve to throw it at my husband and say this wont even buy diapers for my son...I dont want your "change" ...needless to say I don't know how likely we are to return when we can drive the same 2 miles to Applebees for the drink specials and half price apps after 9 everyday! It really aches to have to leave a bad review for a place that I had grown to love! But no excuse for a server who is comepletely out of line toward customers like that. read more

I was served by the illustrious Hannah, who had displayed exemplary performance, especially in these trying times of COVID. I was there for just over three hours, and everytime anyone left, Hannah would immediately sanitize the area, keeping the are safe for all other individuals coming through that evening. It was a particularly windy day, and Hannah was just as proactive catching any litter that the wind had managed to snag and missed nary a single scrap. During those three hours she was exceptionally attentive to all her patrons, and she didn't miss a beat any time someone finished their drinks, and was at your table if needed something as soon as you even realized you wanted it. She also entertained the perfect amount of small talk, with intelligently thought out responses. During my time there she was by and far the most active personnel in all categories, and met everything with a highly positive attitude. Smokey Bones should be proud to have her in their ensemble, and should most certainly award her with recognition for her hard work. Went in for the first time last night and was greeted promptly by a smiling bartender named Sara. Sara was quick to suggest two delicious craft cocktails. I ended up picking their new drink, the Sweet Bourbon Peach Tea. This drink was delicious and refreshing!! She then told me I had to try the smoked wings. I usually don't get an appetizer but they looked too good to pass up. They definitely did not disappoint! Not many places manage to get the smokey flavor in their wings while keeping them so crisp! For dinner I went with the pulled pork. I must mention that I consider myself a connoisseur of all things pork.. and this was the best I have ever had! I will definitely be back for beer pong and all you can eat wings and tacos as Sara recommended! I went there last nite with one of my GFs and we were greeted by a very nice cute host who later turned out to be our server mike! We were torn between different apps and drinks and what he recommended was awesome the mag nachos and the Pineapple Express were awesome this was our first time there and he made it wonderful he was an amazing server and the food is great! It's also nice to talk to a server that is friendly and will have conversations with not just robot servers... I asked him when he got to leave he said I've been cut for awhile but I leave when you leave but no rush.. I asked him why didn't you just tell me that he said because you look like your enjoying your self so I don't mind take your time... I find that very respectful! I was throwing out a Smokey Bones about six months ago by a really obnoxious floor manager after I heard him and a customer talking a bunch of baloney about one of the bartenders in regards to the night before. And when I was done, I told him I didn't appreciate the fact that he was throwing the bartender in question under the bus, and he literally followed me out of the store, hurling all sorts of invectives after me. We had a second one in a little later, which I must admit, I precipitated by wanting him to come and look at the fact that my meal was not cooked properly and used and unflattering term to call upon him to the bartender. Regardless, the relationship was founded on the fact that he was being a very not nice person on the first encounter. read more

I was there for lunch with my family and we had Mike as our server he was so polite and kind took time with us wasn't in any hurry to move on spent time and even had a conversation with my husband and I and made my title girl laugh also! This was our first time there and I will have to say with everything going on in the world today and my family is a family of color Mike still made us feel very welcome and wanted! That was very nice of him! Not too many places around have servers like this no more! First time visiting Smokey Bones! I went in with my husband after a long shopping day at the mall. As we were looking over the menu Brielle greeted us with a big smile. After bringing our drinks back I asked Brielle what she recommended I had no idea what to order every thing on the menu looked so good. I went with Brielles recommendation even down to the dessert! The brisket platter with mashed and warm apples. Then the cookie skillet I think that was the name. I ate every bite. Great food with great service. I will be back soon. My GF and I went there for trivia nite on Tuesday we love it! We were greeted by a man who ended up being our server named mike we asked him if we could sit in a certain table and he replied yes let me just finish wiping it down! Mike was excellent that nite very attentive made some good recommendations but we went with our own we chatted for a bit he knew some of the trivia.. it was nice to have a server interact with guests like that best time there so far! read more

Suuuuuch a good vibe. Great food, great environment, and great service. Server (I believe he said his name was Spencer?) was so welcoming from the get-go. Answered all our questions about the menu and made great recommendations. The menu is pretty extensive, but has some really stellar options. This is our daughter's favorite restaurant. She loves their fried pickles so she always asks to come here. On our latest visit Cynthia was our server and she was fabulous. She was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The food as always was amazing! I had the surf and Turf and honestly the steak was like butter. My boyfriend & I went there for our first time this past saturday after walking through the mall. We both ordered a different type of burger so that we could try a bite of each others. So the food is good , for a chain really really good. But the reason that my wife and I have been regulars for the last year or so is because of the bar staff.
