The best ribs I've ever had. I even got a slab for the 4th of July and all my friends loved them as well. The brick and mortar was never in a bad location not was anyone rude that worked there and it certainly wasn't a dive. The owner worked very hard to remodel the restaurant and made it very nice and a perfect atmosphere for food, music, trivia etc. Unfortunately covid forced the brick and mortar to close but I still stall their bbq. Don't overlook the smoked salmon either! It sells quickly cause it's sooooo good. I love that you have your choice of pita bread and not the basic garlic toast you get everywhere. I've only had beef cheeks one other time, at LeRoy and Lewis in Austin, but I have to give Danny's the edge. They were unbelievably tender, literally melt in your mouth, with incredible flavor. The Wagyu Dino Rib was every bit as impressive. It was absolutely massive with a beautiful bark, the perfect amount of smoke, and so tender it practically fell apart. Of course I couldn't leave without some brisket, and it was just as outstanding as always. I had the chance to chat with Danny, and he and his team are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Their passion for great barbecue is obvious in everything they do. The Brisket Shoppe consistently serves some of the best BBQ I've had anywhere and, in my opinion, it's the best you'll find outside of Texas. She said "yes". As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars.
