When Smoking Tiger first opened up in Downtown Fullerton, their Espresso Tonic was recommended by a friend and I absolutely loved it. After the DTF location rebranded into Sip & Savor, it was not the same. This past Monday, 12/09/24 was my first time here. The girl working the register in the AM was extremely friendly and super professional. I ordered their Espresso Tonic and the drink came out fairly quickly. It was absolutely delicious and I definitely missed that flavor. I've had so many different ET's and this place delivered. Smoking Tiger still exists in my top 3 spots for a nice, refreshing ET. I will definitely try to come more often since it's very close to home. read more

the bread options are so unique i definitely want to come back and try more! the coffee was also very good. I like how you can choose what blend you would like in your coffee. I got the rose of sharon blend which was flavorful. The workers are very kind and attentive. I sat and studied for a couple hours and the space is nice with plentiful chairs and tables, some outlets, and strong wifi. The main downside is that there is little to no ac so it is quite warm inside. slightly musty if you sit inside for too long. might be because of the summer heat, but it would be great if they could turn up the air conditioning! read more

11/24/2024 I've been to both Buena Park and Cerritos locations several times over the years. This is the first time at the Brea location. Came in past noon. COFFEE BUN SALT BREAD This tastes exactly what it says it is. A coffee bun bread with flakey salt on top. Love the flavors together! The coffee bun bread with that hit of salt brings a new flavor to it. When paired with a really good latte or espresso, I think this would be a lovely pairing! Sadly, this wasn't served fresh out of the oven, so the outside was not crunchy, but soft. The overall bread was soft. The flavors are great though! Would definitely buy again, but would love to buy when fresh out of the oven. COOKIE SALT BREAD Reheated in the oven at Smoking Tiger. This was surprisingly good. I don't love raw cookie dough. But the chocolate cookie dough and the chocolate cookie exterior with the salt bread were delicious together. Strangely, it works! It wasn't overly sweet either, but just the right amount of sweetness because it was a salt bread and not a croissant. I think they should keep this on the menu as a cookie alternative! It reminded me of the holidays and baking cookies at home because of the cookie dough. :) SPICE & EVERYTHING NICE (Sweet pumpkin cream top latte spiced with cinnamon with a double shot of espresso) This tasted exactly like you're drinking kabocha squash. All I remember is the strong kabocha squash flavor with coffee and cinnamon. Cinnamon was strong too. The cream top did have this vanilla and maybe maple syrup flavor at first sip, then it tastes like kabocha and coffee with cinnamon. The drink wasn't too sweet. It was so strange to taste the kabocha in a drink! I grew up eating kabocha squash and I love kabocha, but this drink took me by surprise. I'm so used to American Pumpkin Spice Lattes, that I didn't expect an Asian twist in this drink! Funnily enough, I did finish the whole drink, as it was so unique in its own way. However, I don't think I would recommend this drink as it may not be to everyone's taste and liking. I don't think this drink was a success flavor-wise. Too many flavors happening all at once. However, they did succeed at creating a Korean-fusion beverage that is uniquely theirs. CUSTOMER SERVICE Only two people working at the front. One was the barista and the other worked the front register. Service was good. Both were nice and friendly. No attitude, which I truly appreciate! I ordered a sweet corn latte and a sausage pastry. The latte was great, but the pastry was cold on the inside. I returned to the staff and told them that my food item was cold. They proceeded to apologize and say that they can't do anything about it because I already took a bite. Not only was the pastry cold after warming it in their oven, it contained meat and dairy. This pastry item was sitting in their display case for who knows how long. Worst case scenario I could've gotten food poisoning. They could have offered me a refund on the food item or offered me a new pastry. Instead of this, they denied me service and did nothing about it. My visit to this place was in the afternoon on November 13, 2025. It was a female staff member that denied me service. Probably a solid 3.8/5 I got an iced Hojicha with oat milk, a strawberry matcha with oat milk, lemon Earl grey sconkie, and the scallion bread. The Hojicha was 10/10 amazing! Bitter but so very pleasant. I would come back just for this drink. The strawberry matcha was not very good. It tasted like a watery strawberry milk without the strawberry or matcha standing out. Would not recommend. The scallion bread was a bit salty but I really wished it was heated up more. The Earl grey sconkie was good. I wish the Earl grey or like a bergamot taste stood out more. I enjoyed the lemon accent. The inside is super cute and the bakery side reminds me of 85° with the trays and grabbing the food. Service was fast and the inside was very clean. First time here right by the dumpling place. It's in the same shopping center. Walked in and every seat was taken, they must be popular. They have treats and tumblers and also some bakery goods as well. Korean owned or Korean coffee delicious, ordered the Banana Milk Latte delicious but only came in one size they should change that cause that drink is amazing. My friend she ordered the strawberry matcha latte, that was amazing and came in different sizes. The service was good, I give it 4 stars for the banana latte only being one size. The crumbly topping is the best part. The rest is not sweet. If they could just serve the top, I'd buy that! Sweet potato and corn mochi. Not very sweet either. Bits of corn inside the corn mochi. Corn latte- first sip... you can't really taste the corn. The coffee is good and strong though! But when I ate the pastries, then took a sip, I did taste the corn cream. I've worked near this shopping center for such a long time and never suspected such a great little coffee shop was right down the road! It's a little unsuspecting because of the simple sign. I only knew it was there based on a coworker's recommendation. I'm extremely glad I gave it a try because I'm definitely becoming a returning customer! It's very small inside with a few tables crowded together. We went around 1pm on a weekday and they were all full, but luckily there was some seats available outside. It's a Korean shop that serves coffee, matcha and pastries. The cashier explained that they were a coffee lab, but honestly I don't really know what that means and she did not elaborate. She recommended their signature drink which is the Smoking Tiger Latte and their seasonal drink the Bam Bam Latte. We ordered one of each and were extremely impressed by both drinks! They were sweet without being overpowering. They need to keep the bam bam year round, it was my absolute favorite! Cashier was super friendly and service was quick. I love the assortment of pastries; my favorite are the scones and scookies. I love the texture of them it's a little crispy and soft on the inside. My favorite flavor is Earl grey and you can taste it really well in their pastries. The garlic cream cheese bread is on the heavier side but it's more cream cheese than garlic in my opinion; I do like the little crispy garlic bits though. Their croissants are so good, I love how crispy they get and how filled they are whether it's The matcha cream or almond one. Their too good to go was super worth; $6.50 for 4 pastries valued around $16!! + Hot Fireplace Latte ($5.75 + $1 oat milk; less sweet): a warm, cardamom latte. One of my fave lattes, I love the cardamom flavor (9/10) + Purple Sweet Potato Mochi ($2.50): cute and trendy, but was disappointed. Ordered the tiger latte and almond Croissant. My suspension was correct and confirmed, they don't make this specific pastry here. When I told the person working that they should consider throwing away the last croissant because mine was stale, he ignored me. So avoid them and try the other pastries that are made in the store. This is my favorite coffee shop. They have normal coffee drinks but where they shine is their korean drinks like the corn latte! I love their hojicha with vanilla it's so creamy. This spot serves bread treats and you need to try the garlic cream cheese bread it is so good! I have also been to the cerritos location which serves more food. This shop has a good amount of seating indoors and a little outside. It is nice and mellow with subtle lighting, a good place to sit down and do some work. This location is near my office so I come here when I go to work and I love that they open early enough for me to grab my cup of coffee. I recently tried their seasonal drink, Jamong Ade, which was a house made lemonade and grapefruit purée and it was delicious and refreshing! I will get it again! I want to try their other seasonal drink too but I wanted something without caffeine. The staff were very helpful and fast. There were three workers and all greeted when I came in. There were a lot of pastries/bread to choose from but the top 2 that stood out to us was: - Cream Cheese Garlic Bread ($6). This was by far the best cream cheese garlic bread I have ever tasted!!!! THIS IS A MUST GET. It was so creamy, savory, sweet, crunchy (outside), soft (inside)! Perfect texture and good amount of filling. - Kouign Amann w/ Lemon Creme ($5) This is also a must get especially if you like a mix of tangy and sweet. You can definitely taste the Lemon Creme and it didn't overpower the bread. The bread was very soft, buttery and flaky! It was so good!! As for the coffee/tea, we got: - Sweet Corn Latte ($6.50) this drink could definitely be better. We got it because it sounded really unique but this was a lil upsetting.
