This location is always clean, accommodating, and I have never had an issue before today. Between 2 and 4 pm today I went to order a smoothie and only one employee who was a young girl was on duty. She was extremely accommodating and kind, but due to lack of resources, being the only employee in the building, overflow of guests, and surplus of online orders she was having a difficult time and after waiting a bit I decided to not place my order. If I could give less than one star I would they never have the Acai base for the bowls, until Thursday afternoon when the trucks comes in. I made an order 2 weeks ago and it took 10 days to get a refund on a bowl. They took the $6 in points I had accumulated and never gave them back. This week I decided to order a bowl again, only to call and find out they are out this week too. They offered a credit just the amount of the smoothie not all the other delivery fees. But today's order went the same way. I'm calling about an order only to be told they as still out and they will refund my money in 24-48 hour. Last night we pulled up to a lit sign, an unlocked door and several customers milling around in the store. My 11 year old son walked in. It was 9:02 p.m. He was greeted by one young lady who enthusiastically offered to take his order when another female employee cut her off and loudly announced that they were closed and that he would need to leave. I would caution business owners to not turn over the reputations of their businesses to a younger generation who are either poorly trained or who are a part of the deteriorating fabric that we used to know as customer service. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recent incident of unacceptable customer service that I experienced at your establishment. On July 6,2024 I visited your establishment located in Wylie, TX where I encountered racial motivated discriminatory behavior. During my visit, I was behind one additional person and placed my order. Two other gentlemen came in behind me and placed their orders. The workmen in front of me ordered bowls in which their orders were made and given to them. The issue came when both of the of gentlemen who came, ordered, and paid had their orders were made and served before mine. When I spoke to the manager Conrad to request a refund and cancel my order he first says bowls take the priority in which my response was the bowls were ordered by the people in front of me not the gentleman that placed 3 different orders behind me. He then said it's ready now in which at that point I didn't want it and asked for a managers name and number. At that point he advised he was the manager apologized and said they didn't pay attention to the order. I advised the disappointment in finding out the he being a manager facilitated and watched this behavior. I have never experienced any behavior of the sort in the last 15 years I've lived in this area. The actions of your staff member(s) were clearly influenced by racial bias, which made me feel humiliated and unfairly targeted. As a customer, I expect to be treated with equality, dignity and respect regardless of my race or ethnicity. Such behavior not only violates basic principles of customer service but also goes against legal and ethical standards of non-discrimination. I urge your organization to take immediate action to address this matter. I request a formal investigation into the incident, appropriate disciplinary measures for the involved staff member(s), and implementation of comprehensive diversity training for all employees to prevent future occurrences of racial profiling. I trust that you will handle this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and provide a prompt response. read more

I'm visiting from San Diego and wasn't sure what to expect. Upon walking in, I noticed the white countertops and product display. I began to look at their menu which had a 4 different categories (Slim, Fitness, wellness, and Take a Break). My husband and I had just did a really intense leg workout and we needed a blend that would help with recovery. We were both drawn to their Fitness Blends. We both ordered the Gladiator smoothie: choice of Vanilla, Chocolate (I chose Chocolate) or Strawberry Protein, Stevia Plant based sweetener and choice of 2 fruits/vegetables (I chose kale and banana) and opted for an extra serving of peanut butter. The shake was delicious! The employees were very friendly, and helpful. They were willing to show me the labels of the products they used and when I had 101 questions, they answered them to the best of their ability. And while my husband made jokes like; "we have a complicated order" they smiled and remained professional while answering my questions. I'm giving a 4star because I would have preferred a better quality, "cleaner", protein powder, cleaner peanut butter and more vegetable options. My favorite smoothie place went from the top to the bottom after what I saw today. I came into a mess. Spills everywhere cups on the floor and the whole place being sticky. It's unacceptable to have a food service be like this and it's even more unacceptable because of the pandemic we are going through. When I ordered, I was the first person to order and there was nobody but I was the last one to leave after 30 minutes and my drinks being melted because they were doing orders last to first or in the middle. Usually they would blend my drink once with perfection but my drink constantly went in and out of the blender, adding more ice and by the time everything was done people were grabbing wrong orders and I had to make mine again. We have been here a few times and each visit has just gotten worse. The service isn't prompt and that's when they didn't have anyone waiting. The two up front aren't welcoming even if you are. This is my first and last visit to this location. I visit smoothie king at least once every week. I live in garland so I usually go to the garland store. We were in the area and decided to stop in. Couple things: there's a sign at the entrance encouraging customers to do the survey for a $1 off. I had one (I've done the survey before & have never had a problem redeeming it along with rewards on the app or even on $5 Friday's). However, as I placed my order the cashier notified me I could only redeem the $1 off from survey receipt OR a reward from the app. This is not the case at any of the other locations I have visited. The girl adds that it's an owners rule & their locations cannot allow more than 1 discount per transaction. Ok move on I guess, even though I will mention they have officially lost me as a customer. Furthermore, they charge extra for substitutes (as if charging $8 for a smoothie & 50c for an extra cup isn't enough). I usually change the vegan protein in my smoothie for whey protein and at this store it's a 99c up-charge. Other locations just substitute it with no problem. The girl at the register also accidentally over charged me and had to do a return. Even though all these things happened she maintained a good attitude and she fixed her mistakes right away. However, all the other absurd rules this location has definitely discouraged me from coming back to this Smoothie King. read more

We go in today on Friday after school and she goes in and orders her smoothie and 4 people are served before. Some are more knowledgeable than others about ingredients. You can get everything less sweet if you ask. I go here often after working out at 24 Hour. There's never really a long line, and it's easy to get in and out. I love that there is a location near me because I prefer Smoothie King smoothies and their protein shakes but they're not a lot in the metroplex and they're usually far.
