My bf and I came to Joshua tree to visit the park and surrounding towns, we spent our last night out dining here and it was AMAZING. The ambiance was a pure vibe! The burger? Delicious. The FRENCH FRIES? Mouthwatering. And my virgin Shirley temple, puhlease it was so yummy. We had such a nice time eating here and will definitely go back when we visit again! Also the photo booth inside was so cute, and the pool tables next to the bar felt like an chill dinner and entertainment kind of night

Another great meal at SR! Wifey had THE WEDGE SALAD. Crispy pork belly atop artisan lettuce, roasted grape tomatoes, onions, blue cheese crumble, house-made blue cheese ranch. She really liked it. Ate it all! Wifey's friend had THE IGGY'S LEMON BUTTER BOW TIE PASTA. With grilled chicken and asparagus. She loved it. She had plenty of leftovers. Lots of pasta. I had THE DOUBLE CUT CHOP™. Marinated & pan-fried, topped w/ roasted pobiano peppers, jalapeños, onions, served w. asparagus. Also had the horseradish smashed potatos. So good. Service was quick and friendly. The folks behind the grill were spot on too. We really like the interior here. The vintage radios on the diner tables is a nice touch.

This place is a hidden gem truly!! I had no idea walking in that my socks would be blown off! The ginger drinks were phenomenal. The service was incredible and everyone is friendly! The gravy, I would love to buy a tub of. It's the best gravy I've ever had and that's someone coming from the south! Anything you do add gravy on top and you will not be disappointed. I also have to give a special mention to the curly fries. It's the best of both worlds. They have the creaminess of a mashed potato on the inside and an amazing crunchy exterior! We have definitely become regulars here.!! I also love that they give you the option to dine on either side. There is the bar and biker side and also the family dining side but either way you can't go wrong! The ambience and vibes are amazing!

The food was just what I needed after a few drinks. Definitely give the Cajun pasta a try. So filling and flavorful I would come back just for that! The service was good. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. Ambiance is pretty chill. The only downside is the tvs were only playing a live feed of birds.

Had a wonderful lunch at this location! The duality of the ambiance was amazing ! One side you have a diner straight out of a movie while the other side is a very cool biker/ rocker vibe! Service was amazing and food was equally as spectacular! We tasted all of their frozen margarita flavors along with the corn appetizer which is great to share. Had the Cajun pasta bowl that was the right level of spicy with tons of flavor . Also tried their snakebite burger that was to die for! This is a must stop I you won't regret it

Have to say one of the best burgers we have had. Craving it since we left. Stop in for some fun music drinks and good food! Service was good and fast. Definitely stopping in whenever we are back in town!

I visited Snake Bite on a Saturday evening for dinner with a party of 16, so we made a reservation in advance. Since it was still fairly early in the evening, parking was easy & there weren't too many other customers when we arrived. The workers were so friendly & funny. I loved the fun decor & the billiards table. I ordered their chili & really enjoyed it--I also got to try dishes & drinks from my friends & thought everything was great. I appreciated their drink deals too, though my friend's Negroni slushy was more of a standard Negroni than an actual slushy. Would visit again!

I really enjoyed this place! Great atmosphere, the vibe is fun. It feels like a mix between a country bar and a diner. The server and all the staff were super friendly, some things did take a little longer than expected but it was busy. The food was really good! Everything cane out super hot, had great flavor and the menu had unique options to pick from. We have learned that Joshua Tree doesn't have a ton of places to eat, so I was expecting the options we did have to not be great, but every place has been good.

No better way to end the day at Joshua Tree than to get a bite to eat here. Great historical spot where the pool table in front is the same pool table that The Rolling Stones and the Beatles played on. I got the Snakebite Burger and it was incredible. Hit the spot and the house fries were just as good!

Came here with a group of 12. For starters, this place was the only one I've been to that said they would have to split the checks in 3 groups and would refuse it do it otherwise. One of the people I was with had a lisp and the waitress laughed and at him. On top of that, the food was very overpriced. Had to leave and not look back.

Took a pit stop here before me and my partner went camping and I couldn't have asked for a better experience ! They had live music playing which I wasn't expecting but it fit with the atmosphere . Service is great as well , they frequently check on you with a smile on their face . And don't get me started with the food omg AMAZING and very filling ! The portions are very reasonable with the price . Would love to come here again to try the drinks next time !

Mediocre food, uninspired new-American menu. Kitschy diner decor in one half of the restaurant was neat. Prefer other spots in the area.

I bought a home in the desert two years ago and now live here full time. I came in solo on September 10th for a cocktail and a burger to go. I was feeling particularly down around 9/11, being from NYC and having been in the area when it happened, and just wanted to sit somewhere familiar and comfortable for a bit. I ordered a cocktail to stay and a cheeseburger to go, and the bartender immediately said, "The kitchen is busy, I don't think we can do a to-go order." I explained that I'm a local and have ordered food to go here many times and asked him to please check. Eventually he took the order, but the cocktail wasn't good and when I got home, the burger I specifically ordered well done was medium to medium rare. The point of hospitality is to be hospitable. I've been coming here for years, and I'm genuinely confused as to why ordering a burger to go became such a difficult and unwelcoming experience.

After we sat down, we were handed record sleeves and inside were the menus. This was a new and different experience for me. I was going to order the Lasagna but was told they were out of it for the night. They were also out of the Pan Seared Salmon and evidently, the Mojave Veggie Burger (overheard the staff member telling the table next to us this). I ended up going with the Mojave Gold Grass-Fed Burger, and my bf ordered the Steak Frites. The food was good. I really enjoyed my burger. The sauce was delicious, and the fries were seasoned very well. I usually like to eat my fries with sauce but these fries could be eaten on their own. As for the overall experience, it was okay. We ordered a total of three dishes - two entrees and one dessert. Our dinner lasted for almost two hours, most of which were spent waiting. It took a while for the staff member to come take our orders, and after we placed our orders, it took some time for the food to come out. The Steak Frites came out wrong; my bf asked to substitute the fries with broccolini but they still gave him fries. They did take it back to the kitchen but it took a while for the dish to come back out afterward. We asked for hot water but that never came out. We also had to ask for ketchup a couple times. When we were given the bill at the end of the night, there was an extra dish that we did not order on it. Of note, the restaurant was mild to moderately busy but definitely not crowded this night. All in all, food and ambiance were good. Staff was nice and friendly, but service could use some improvement.

I was one of the first patrons there for the evening and was immediately greeted by one of the women bartending for the night. She saw my interest in the pool tables and laid out the pricing: $4/30min or $8/hr. I went ahead and paid for 2hrs of play and was handed a box of billiard balls with my choice of a table. I was introduced to the full bar, the well stocked fridge filled with beers, seltzers and wines and the specials for the weekend. As the night developed, more and more groups came in, ordered drinks and sat around the bar and tables with plenty of seating and tables available for everyone to hang out comfortably without being on top of one another. My only recommendation for this place when it does get busier, is that they have a designated ordering section at the bar where people can't sit so that those wanting to order or close their tabs can easily get to the bartender without having to awkwardly cut through people that are sitting there. Otherwise, this is a solid spot to hang out and have a couple casual drinks with a divey ambience and local feel.
