My bestie referred me to Tina, her gal here, and absolutely loves her! I decided to give it a try as I usually do my own nails but it was such a lovely little luxury to sit down and relax for both a gel mani and a pedi. Included in the pedi is a hot, relaxing foot bath, a calf massage and got rub with lotion. The mani includes a hand massage as well. The gel mani lasted about two weeks and the pedi about the same but in total it's $50 so I can't complain compared to neighboring overpriced luxury salons. I've been back two other times in the past two months and Tina is always friendly and fast! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a few minutes of luxury in their life. I gave this place a 4 out of 5 because while I always enjoy the services Tina provides, the overall vibe is somewhat quiet. Employees, mostly female, are running around hurriedly, looking somewhat slightly irritated and speaking loudly to each other in their native language (I wish I knew it and would love to be able to have a conversation). I came in earlier today to get some nails done with my sister and they did an amazing job! While I personally don't get manicures very often, my sister constantly drives 30+ mins to see Maria! I requested a complicated design, and they went the extra mile to make sure they looked how i wanted them too. Tina did a great job adding the tips and base layers, and Van came over to draw the design on. I love Snappy! This place has super fair prices, great service, and has a super effective online booking system. I love that I can schedule online for a same day appointment and it is confirmed in a matter of minutes. As others have mentioned, yes, it can be very very busy. However, I haven't ever noticed a decline in service because of it. I have been going to Eva for dip manicures for over a year now and she is the best! She is always willing to try the styles I show her from the internet but will be honest about what she can and can't do (there isn't much she can't do)! She, and the women who sit nearby, are all super friendly and we always end up having funny conversations. I get a mani done here every 2/2.5 weeks and a pedi once a month. I do dip. I can get a basic color from anyone, shiny or matte. I get amazing designs from Eva. I have a natural long nail but get the occasional tip for a broken one. If you break or chip a single nail, you can always pop in for a fix. Snappy is fast, if you need to get in an out. The nail tech who did my nails was over zealous cutting my cuticles. She ignored the bleeding on one finger & painted the nail anyway.

I am so fucking done with giving this business a chance. Last year I got a terrible manicure and they made it right. However, I went in for a walk in pedicure last Sunday and this lady Lihn Luu was who I ended up with. I obliged her suggestion for a premium pedicure for $50. She proceeded to take the nail buffer my cuticles and cut me so bad on my big toe. It's been almost 4 days and now it's set up infection. I'm in pain every time I take a shower and now even while walking around the house. I suffer sensory issues and I told her straight away please be gentle I have sensitive skin!!! she clearly didn't listen to me and proceeded to completely dissociate while giving me a half assed service. Then give me cheap compliments before I paid like that would make up for the terrible service. I will take my business elsewhere. I know they do have good nail techs but they need to all be good. Somehow my luck is terrible and I get the most brutal techs. My sister has better luck and gets great service. This business needs more consistency in service. I cannot trust it anymore. Oh and lastly she needed to put an extra coat of polish on because some areas were streaky. Overall waste of time and money and caused me mental stress when the whole purpose is to relax!!! read more

Tried Snappy Nails & Spa for the first time for Gel X before my trip to Europe and it hasn't even been 48 hours since I got my nails done and my nails are already popping off. Normally, gel x sets last me 4-6 weeks. There are bubbles under multiple nails meaning that the extensions/glue was not applied properly. I do not recommend! Update - July 10 Reached out to Manager (Maria) to get a refund for my service as I am forced to go to another nail salon in Europe to get a new set. I was told that they are unable to offer me a full refund, but they could redo. I explained to Maria that I am already currently in Europe for a wedding that I am bridesmaid in and would prefer to have the money I paid to use for a new set. I was told I could either A) come in and get the nails redone or B) accept a partial refund as they'd have to keep at least 25% for the supplies that were used on me, but I'd have to delete my initial review. I explained that I am in Germany with limited cell service and without transportation. I am forced to have the bride to take time out of her busy wedding week schedule to take me to a nail salon for a new set. The exact inconvenience that I tried to avoid by visiting their shop. They insisted that those were the only options that I would have, which I declined. I cannot recommend going to this shop with the experience I've had. read more

I am not one to review places, and even though I was upset when these were done, I didn't think to write a review, but I am now looking at week-old nails (done on Sunday May 1st with Lynh) that just make me so sad. I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, I ask for gel, to keep my length, and a rounded almond shape. I am now looking at these - nails that were cut down after I asked very specifically for them not to be (to which Lynh said ok sure, then took clippers and chopped them - I wanted to cry), every one of the bottoms of the gel is peeling up, a couple are chipped at the top, and my cuticles are a MESS and peeling so bad (I didn't have this issue before I got these done). My pedicure was great - hence the 2 stars, but I will not get a mani here again. Such a bummer. Update: The owner, Maria, reached out to me and personally took the time to re-do my nails for me. She was so kind and helpful and wanted to make this right. She re-did my nails beautifully, they have LASTED 4 weeks, and I will be going to her from now on. I've been coming here for about 5 years and the quality has just lessened over time sadly. I don't go as much for this reason, but they are quick and usually can get you in right away. Each time I go, the nail tech will try to up-sell on the service. I will politely decline and say "no, I'll just do xyz". They can be really pushy about it. I've noticed the last couple of times, if I just get the basic pedicure and don't add all the hot stones/towels/wax, they really rush through my pedicure and don't do a great job. The technician was exceptionally kind and warm, but unfortunately I won't be returning. I did a French manicure and the white tips are sloppy and uneven, there are bubbles and a fuzz stuck under the dip powder, my cuticles look worse than when I arrived, and got cut as well. They do a great job on your nails.. I've never had a bad result getting a mani or pedi here.. but lately I've been real annoyed with all the other bs coming in here. It's always dirty. They tell you to go sit in chair 11 and you get to chair 11 and it's filthy from the last person and you have to move stuff out of the chair yourself and wipe down the chairs. Also they've been aggressive about upselling lately and ask why why why if you say no. I know what I want and don't need a reason. Most recently the man doing my manicure burned me with the buffer holding it down too long. Totally fine that happens all the time. But when I pulled away and said "ow" instinctively, his response was "I didn't even do anything" LOL. read more

I've been going here to get my acrylic nails done for almost a year. The quality is very inconsistent depending on who you get and time of day. The busier it is, the more it feels like they are just trying to get people in and out of chairs. I've had some of the best and worst acrylic nail sets from here. I dont have a go-to person so maybe that's why I'm not consistently happy. It always been good enough to keep me coming back until today. I come in for a full set and I can tell it's really busy (it's a Sunday afternoon). The manager offered me a pedicure while I wait. I took up her offer and got right into a chair. The lady who did my toes seemed preoccupied and so she wasn't very detailed. I need to go home and still clip my toes unfortunately. The rest of the pedicure was ok but not worth the $35. At the end, she was ushering me to the register and I asked about my acrylic set. Nobody had any idea what I asking about, not even the manager who I was in initial contact with. I told them id been waiting for an hour and already got a service so if I have to wait longer I'll just pay for my pedicure and go somewhere else. They moved me to two different technicians before someone starting working on my nails. The lady who ended up doing them, Van, was awesome! My design was time intensive (hence why I went on my day off expecting to spend time and money on this service). I love the set she did. The overall experience was not good. This company doesn't care about best business practices, only money and bodies in and out of seats. You just have to find the right nail tech you can keep coming back to.
