First the website hasn't worked in several weeks and the promos listed don't work. So I decided since the website still isn't fixed I would call in to order only for the guy to be rude right off the bat, and kept asking me to hold on while talking to someone else. I used to love Snappy Tomato so much. I just moved back to the area and kept talking up their ranch rigatoni to my bf who never had it. I'm not sure what I got but it wasn't even close to the quality I expected. I'm also pregnant so the disappointment was at an all time high. I hate sounding like a Karen but what in the world is this pasta.. it's not even remotely what's on the menu. It's not even rigatoni for that matter and none of the toppings are mixed in like usual. This Snappy Tomato Pizza is terrible. On Monday April 14th 2025 at 4:45pm. Ordered 2 large pizzas and they run the $9.99 deal between 3-5pm on the weekdays. They charged us $17.99 for each pizza. For one, it's too expensive to eat here. And another, I ordered a regular and thin crust pizza and they messed up on one making them all regular. Got my money back on one of them. Kept the other one. I have also been here before and they don't have my order ready when I arrive. And they made my pizza squared instead of regular. This place needs some improvements with the service, and the price of their pizza. It's too expensive and no one can afford that. I won't be back here unless they make big improvements and lower their prices on Pizza. read more

The breadsticks had no flavor. No butter, salt, or taste. Gave them to the dog. The wings seemed to be chicken nuggets with a squirt of store bought barbecue sauce. Gas station quality food. I was a regular patron of this establishment, and usually ordered the same custom pizza. Today, I was informed that this order was not a possible accommodation due to a misunderstanding on their part. The staff on shift was not familiar with my order, and insisted that they would not make my pizza. I made a polite offer to change my order to a different kind of pizza and requested that I recieve a small amount of extra pepperoni on the pizza, free of charge, due to my inconvenience and prior relationship with the business. We stumbled upon Snappy Tomato while waiting for an order at the pharmacy next door. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. The price is not bad as they usually have a special going where you get a 2nd pizza for only 25 cents. The pizza does not have a lot of sauce which is how our family likes it. The ingredients/toppings are always fresh and plentiful no matter what type of pizza we order. We get pizza from them frequently and have never been disappointed. read more

We got the Beast for neighborhood kids' picnic... so we just ordered cheese. Honestly, best cheese pizza! Those little kiddos devoured it all (minus the 2 pieces I hid)! Seemed sketchy, how do you send a delivery person out without enough change knowing everyone has to pay cash?... The part of our order that we actually got was very good but they had a special for a chocolate chip cookie pizza that the cashier confirmed but since we didn't get a receipt we couldn't argue with her. We weren't going to wait another 20 minutes to get it so we left very unhappy. We did have a Groupon for this and that's supposed to help them get new customers but our experience was definitely NOT a way to get new customers. My husband and I have been impressed with the new ownership of our local Snappy Tomato. Great service, very fresh quality ingredients, and also my husband's preferred place to order his gluten free pizza from. He says it's the best he's had. Today I decided to try a side salad with my pizza and it tasted like I had made it myself. Fresh, definitely not out of a bag! A couple weeks ago our pizza showed up wrong, so we called to have a corrected one delivered. About 20 minutes later the owner showed up at our door to apologize with the pizza and a free dessert, as well as extra discounts for future pizzas. Highly recommended!! read more

I've eaten from this particular Washington Pike store a few times over the past year as it's one of only two places that will actually deliver to my house. I have to say that the pizza and service has taken a dip since I first ordered from there. It's still better than the big 3 by far but something has definitely changed. I ordered a pizza on the way home today from work and stopped in to get it. It was ready when I got there. I could see it sitting there. There were two employees right there in front of me. One told me to hold on a second and the one directly in front of me completely ignored me. After no less than 5 minutes I went and grabbed a piece of candy and came back to another 5 minute wait before two more employees came in and literally forced the girl at the counter to pay attention to me. I was upset but I hid that from them and smiled all the way out the door. I took my lukewarm pizza out to my car and enjoyed one good slice in the driver's seat before driving home to absolutely not at all enjoy my extra hard cheese room temperature pizza. It had potential, but unrealized potential is worse than a Tombstone. I'm pretty sure it is one of the more disappointing pizza experiences of my life. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The last time we ordered from them (one year ago) our order was still not delivered at 2.0 hours. If I could rate no stars I would. This particular location of Snappy is always ridiculous. The food is always cold, it takes forever to get. However this is just about the only option we have for food that's just down the road. Tonight when we ordered, we ordered 3 sandwiches, a small pizza, fries and a calzone. We got everything, plus cheese bread, except the calzone. When we called to let them know we what happened and that we were on a way back to get our calzone, and we're bringing the cheese bread, the MANAGER talking in the background insisted that she hadn't even made cheese bread in over an hour, and there's no way that was true. So we took the bread back, and while the cheese bread was siting on the counter, again, the MANAGER refused to take responsibility for the mistake that she had made. The fact that we got the wrong thing is not the issue, it's her attitude that ruined it for us. A manager is supposed to be an example for team members and this girl was far from that. read more

I've eaten at Snappy Tomato a few times. The very first time was with a youth group, it was pretty normal. (This was a few years ago) Last year, we tried ordering different things off the menu. Everything came greasy, and wet. Not to mention way too much tomato sauce. It didn't matter if it was the pizzas or the calzones. Just nasty. If it's not covered in tomato paste it's bland. Service that I've experienced was average. But half the time the drivers couldn't find our house. It's on a busy road, unblock, and clearly marked. read more
