This location always has a wait. Despite the wait the service is great. If you like flavored pancakes this is the place to visit. I have tried the blueberry and upside down pineapple pancake. I think the blueberry is slightly better. I really enjoyed their egg white frittata. Their made to order omelets are also delicious. This place is also great for big parties. Let's talk about this location for a minute. It's a Snooze. It's, like, a two hour wait for breakfast food that isn't super innovative. All the locations are the same (consistency is great but they're not "that special"). What makes THIS location so effing fantastic is Nellie. The staff here is rad. We've never had a bad time. But Nellie is the most special. My husband and I used to live in an apartment complex down the street from this location and came every Sunday for brunch. As fate would have it, almost every Sunday, we got seated in Nellie's section. We got to know her pretty well. She's bubbly and effervescent and is just SUCH a genuine person. She's refreshing and spunky and the best thing since smoked cheddar hollandaise sauce. About two years ago, my husband and I bought a house out in Morrison and we haven't had a chance to make it back to Snooze. Today we decided to drive the 45 minutes and wait the two hours for breakfast at our formerly regular spot. We were seated and we were talking, "It's been a couple years... I wonder if Nellie is still here..." And there she was. She popped up to the table and started to say hello. Then she stopped and looked at us for a moment. "I haven't seen you two in FOREVER!" We had, by chance, got sat in Nellie's section. We all fussed over each other and caught up. It was such a great surprise to see her again and I'm honestly shocked that she remembered us from so long ago. She is still the same enthusiastic ray of sunshine and the fact that she remembered us shows how much she truly cares about, not just customers, but people. Let's talk about Omar. After having him as a server my life has become more fulfilled. He's super chill and down to earth, a great server, and a genuinely nice person. My friends and I laughed and cried as we caught up with each other and Omar picked up on every beat of our psychotic drum, responding perfectly and making our brunch better than we could have ever imagined. Snooze should probably just upgrade him to the CEO and cut out all of the middle men if they know what's best. I just checked out the newest Snooze for lunch and I must say it is a very welcome addition to the Tech Center/Centennial lunch scene!! I am very excited. My waistline and pocketbook are somewhat less excited. This Snooze has the same cool, retro design and vibe as the other restaurants in this local min-chain, which is very pleasing to me because in the burbs I feel that things can tend to get watered down. Our server was totally awesome - friendly, fun, made great recommendations. Yet she was not overbearing which I like. The food was just like the other Snoozes which makes me even more happy. I got the dish whose name I can never remember - but it's a big pile of hash browns with meat, veggies, and cheese. It was delicious. The hash browns on the way bottom were a bit mushy but that was probably for the best as otherwise I would have eaten the entire huge vat of potatoes. On top they were crunchy and there was a good amount of delicious melty cheese. We also split a sweet potato pancake and it was incredible. So, so good. The pancake was so moist and flavorful and the caramel sauce was great. Had I not been there with a coworker there's a good chance I might have licked the plate. Oh Snooze, how I love you. Let me count the ways: Could it be the Ham Benedict III? WIth an English muffin topped with ham, perfectly poached eggs and smoked cheddar hollandaise? Or maybe the Sweet Potato Pancakes? Topped with homemade caramel, pecans and ginger butter? Possibly it's for the possibilites you have, including Breakfast Pot Pies, and all kinds of other Benedicts I have had yet to try. It's definitely because of the Mimosas with Odwalla and topped with some yummy fruit liquor. It's true, I am a breakfast lover anyway, but I think you do it oh so well. My friends have loved the Burrito and the fact that you have Potato breakfasts that have no eggs in them. My only complaints are the loooooonnnng waits for a table, and the lack of kids meals. I am a breakfast food fanatic. I spend a ridiculous amount of time researching which restaurants I am going to try for my favorite meal whenever I'm on vacation, and Snooze kept popping up in list after list on yelp. I am really glad that I braved the warnings of long lines and gave it a shot. The Husband and I arrives early-ish on a Friday morning, so we didn't have any wait at all. In fact, we choose to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine (although it got a little too bright by the time we were leaving). Since The Husband is gluten-free, we chatted with our waiter about the GF menu option. There was lots to choose from, which made for some touch choices. We settled on a pancake flight (pineapple upside-down, blueberry, and chocolate chip) and a chilaquiles eggs benedict. We were so pleasantly surprised when our waiter returned with my mocha (delicious!) - he brought over a gluten-free pancake that the chef had whipped up for us to try. The banana, peanut butter, maple, and bacon combo was awesome... and we loved the extra taste. So nice! Once our meals arrived, I quickly realized that I had been out-ordered. The Husband rarely chooses a better dish than I did, but the chilaquiles benny was fantabulous. Seriously amazing. The layers of corn tortillas instead of an english muffin were absolutely perfect, and I spent the rest of our trip wanting to go back for more. I really enjoyed the pancake flight, but it wasn't quite as crazy good as the chilaquiles. We were so happy with our experience, and enjoyed out meal and the great service. Remember: Patience is a VIRTUE! We decided to check out this location down south, assuming (and secretly hoping) that the word had not gotten out about the delicious breakfast foods Snooze cooks up. Unfortunately for us, the wait was still around an hour and a half for 8 o'clock on a Sunday - not as bad as we figured, since the wait times at the other locations seems to be more ridiculous for a weekend morning, especially for a Sunday. After we paid our dues to the goddess of patience (and after we had our pre-breakfast coffee at the coffee shop right next door), we were promptly seated in a booth towards the back of the restaurant. We all decided to really get our Sunday brunch on by ordering a cocktail to celebrate our momentous achievement of not pulling out our hair for the ridiculously long time we had been stewing around in the shopping mall. I ordered some tasty concoction of citrus vodka, orange juice, and whipped cream, while my friends both ordered bloody marys; one of whom was visiting from NOLA. Sad to say that the bloody she received wasn't up to her NOLA standards and tasted super watery with not a lot of texture. Our server was super understanding when she noticed her not drinking her drink and offered to get her a different cocktail on the house. For food, I stuck with my classic cinnamon roll pancakes, which were amazingly delicious as always. My friends ordered the eggs Benedict and the huevos rancheros; I tried both of them and can attest that they too were scrumptious (but not as good as my cinnamon roll pancakes!). I love Snooze and will attest that their food is worth the ridiculously long wait times and so must everyone else who continues to wait. If you are in the area, it seems like this location wasn't as packed as the original one downtown or the one on Colorado. Maybe it was a fluke and it normally is just as busy as the others, but it didn't seem like it with the amount of peeps waiting outside when we finished our hearty meal. The inside has a contemporaneous, bright atmosphere, containing a ton of happy patrons. Not surprising, since it's one of the more popular breakfast spots in the state. I went with the Spuds Deluxe, adding homemade chicken sausage and green chili, plus two poached eggs ($10.50). That sausage was seasoned fairly well, while the green chili here was mild. The poached eggs were absolutely perfect. A healthy portion of shredded hash browns provided a bed for everything else to lay on. Nice browning there, but perhaps could have gone a tad longer. No one thing overpowers another in this one. You'll experience all the textures and flavors. My friend got the pancake flight, three smaller pancakes on a lengthy dish.The pineapple-upside-down pancake was the winner, especially when adding the cinnamon-laced glaze. Real pineapple chunks (small ones) inside the pancake. The cherry bourbon pancake was another home run. Bourbon and cherries are just a killer combo. The pancake of the day was an Oreo pancake. Yup, Oreos inside. They really controlled the sweetness well, and it left me wanting more after I tried one bite. Panda happy! Snooze clearly lived up to the hype. Snooze for the absolute win. Word of advice, get here early (especially on the weekends) because the wait will be lengthy, but worth it. For the first timer, I suggest going with the pancakes, they are Snooze's specialty and you can't go wrong. Ask your waiter about the pancake of the day and if you are unsure, ask if you can sample it... most of the time they will be happy to oblige. The first time I came here no one in our party ordered pancakes, much to our waiter's chagrin, so he brought out a plate of 'em for the entire table to share... on the house! If you're feeling the effects of last night's debauchery, Snooze features a healthy drink list if you need a hair of the dog to ease that hangover. 700 people to seat, 2 hour wait, 1/2 longer than told; I understand that an 8 seater is difficult, and they apologized, but they completely messed up our seating by tying to seat us in a 6 top next to a 2 top....after our 2 hour wait!!!! Terrible planning! Upon seating, 'River' a host of some sort left my party waiting at the front of the restaurant!!!! I whistled for them & he actually told me to stop cause others wanted to enjoy their meals....It was so noisy in that place, my whistle sounded like music and it happens to be the call for my family...and they came without him when they heard my special whistle(not the loudest whistle around by far, just unique) WHAT, JUST SEAT US, that's all!!! They finally accommodated us all w seating for 8! I lost my appetite! It seems as though our waitress has given up on us and isn't very polite either... WHAT! This leads me to the food. It came out in short time after ordering & looked good. I could tell the table liked their food or that they were starved. I tasted a breakfast burrito & a few bites of Huevos Ranchero, seemed to be made with care & quality. My wife had a quickly made and tasty Mimosa with a dash of pomegranate in it; I would go at night for the assorted drinks, great selection and lots with CO product/liquor... So if you have a group of 3 or more, make your own breakfast, lest you enjoy the VERY LONG WAIT. I'll try a weekday and retry this well spoken of 'Morning Eatery'! But until they get the kinks worked out with some rude staff that was far too overwhelmed and long wait. If I have to wait around without a beeper, I'll keep my waiting for Lucielle's... I really don't see what the big deal about this place is! I just had brunch at Snooze today (my 3rd visit to a snooze restaurant), and have to say that this is the third time I've left completely underwhelmed. I ordered the potatoes deluxe with bacon, chorizo, and ranchero sauce and didn't think it was all that good - very bland without much in the way of contrasting flavors or textures. In past visits I've had the corned-beef hash and eggs Benedict III, about which I had the same general sentiment. Although the food at snooze isn't particularly expensive, I definitely don't think it's worth the ever-present 45 minute wait during weekend brunch hours. And although I don't think the food there is gross or anything, I definitely don't count it as good. As such, you aren't likely to see me eating there any time soon. read more

I guess I will go against the grain a bit here, because my family and I had a rough breakfast this morning at Snooze at Southglenn. Poor service combined with inconsistent food made for a bad start to the day. I was super excited to take my husband and kiddo to Snooze, after having gone to this location earlier this week with a bunch of buddies of mine. I wanted to have them experience the super delicious Red Velvet Pancakes and have the breakfast burrito again. Unfortunately, we discovered that lightning doesn't strike twice. We arrived promptly at 7:20a (as I was advised that if it were a weekend, you better get up bright and early if you want to avoid delays). It took several minutes to be greeted by our server, but that was ok, we had time to decide which cakes and entrees we wanted. Hubby decided on the Corned Beef Hash, I was sold on the Breakfast Burrito with Ranchero Sauce, and kiddo had a pancake flight with red velvet, graceland, cinnamon roll and pancake of the day (with sugar cookie and berries) - you noticed we added an extra cake because we couldn't decide. We asked the server if the pancake flight sized cakes were the same size as the regular order, but she skirted it (that was odd). Hubby informed the server he wanted his eggs over medium well, but break the yolks (this is uber important in the storyline - you'll see). The food took maybe 10-15 minutes to arrive, very prompt in my eyes, but when it arrived, I could see there were some issues with the food. Numero Uno - The pancake flight sized pancakes were much smaller than I remembered a few days prior. Not to mention, one pancake was clearly a lot larger than the other 2 on the plate, so consistency was an issue. The red velvet, the one we came in specifically for, was the runt and made me extremely sad. It was hard to imagine that a place that sells hundreds of cakes a day can't seem to get the sizing right on a platter. Numero Dos - Hubby's eggs were cooked incorrectly. They were medium well, but somebody forgot to break the yolks. He asked the food runner to take it back to the kitchen, which was no problem. So kiddo and I started eating and the server came by to check on us. She asked why hubby didn't have his food and politely he explained the yolks weren't broken. In a very snotty voice, she said "that's medium well." and he decided not to make an issue with her about wanting the yokes broken since he had already sent them back and explained the problem to the person who brought them out. She walked off in a huff. I'm sorry, but I believe that could've been handled a ton better. And this set hubby off in a funk. He wasn't happy that the server just gave him major attitude and couldn't get his order right. When the food came back, the eggs were over done, fried to pieces, and that made him even more angry. At that point, he picked at his Corned Beef Hash, said it wasn't the style he liked and pushed the plate aside. The pancakes weren't his fancy either, too over sauced. I tended to like the graceland and red velvet, but the sugar cookie with berries was WAY too much berry sauce and the cinnamon roll was just not right. Even my kiddo, who normally scarfs down her breakfast, barely touched the pancakes. She liked them, but not enough to eat a whole one herself. The server offered to get my husband something else off the menu, but it was too late. Snooze was spoiled for him. Her snootiness mid-meal combined with the food not being appetizing just did him in. I agree that the inconsistencies with the cakes and disappointing customer service was not what we would expect from a place that serves hundreds of people daily. With Snooze's great reputation, I would've expected more. We walked out, all defeated. To be honest, I think Snooze is ruined for me. I don't think I will go back with my family, and probably only will go back if friends invite me. read more

Snooze, Snooze, how I love and miss thee. Ever since I moved to Los Angeles a few months ago, a big Snooze-sized hole has existed in my heart. A hole that can only be filled by delicious seasonal bellinis, pancake flights, and bennys. Possibly a spuds deluxe and french toast as well, if you please. The first time I went to Snooze was with my then-boyfriend (now-husband) to start the day marking our 3-year anniversary (at the Colo Blvd location) and we've been coming back for more ever since. When this location in Centennial opened, we were beside ourselves with nomming joy. Sorry, can you tell I miss this place a lot? This isn't a very coherent review... ahem. If you're not in the mood for alcohol to nurse your hangover in the morning, their coffee is excellent, the hot chocolate is dreamy, and the chai is sweet but still with a good kick of spice. Absolutely try the pancake flight so you can have 3 different kinds of pancakes--they switch out their flavors every so often, and they have a different daily special! (If they tell you that the daily special is a pretzel pancake drizzled with chocolate and caramel, DO NOT HESITATE. It is my favorite one!) I love spuds deluxe because I absolutely love their hash browns (that crispy crust on top! Heaven!) and I love them even more with chorizo, green chile and cheese. (Lots of options, though, you don't have to Mexi it out like I do.) Their bennys (benedicts) are creative, fun, and most importantly--delicious. We have always had friendly, prompt and excellent servers each time we've dined here too, and they were all very knowledgeable about the dishes or drinks if we had any particular questions. Thumbs up to you guys! James & I hate waiting to eat here, which is the main drawback to this restaurant... so we're crazy and we get there right when they open ;) Yes, waking up to be at a restaurant by 7 is indeed insane, but in our eyes totally worth it. (We've also dragged friends and family there at this ungodly hour and they also agreed it was worth it in the end, so there.) Breakfast food is hands down my favorite! However, Snooze has a lot more to offer than just breakfast food! They have a great burger, ruben and tacos! Their drink menu is oh-so-delish...but above all their breakfast food is awesome! I also like the fact that they offer appetizer pancakes (of your choice) so that way you can indulge, yet have something else off their menu. I'm usually quite torn at breakfast places because I want to have something sweet (like Specialty Pancakes), yet also something hardy (like Eggs Benedict) ....here is my solution!! YAY! Their specialty pancakes are the best pancakes that I've ever eaten, with a new pancake of the day everyday! I'd definitely recommend trying the pancakes, even if its just an appetizer pancake because they are really really good. Red velvet and pineapple upside down are my two faves! Their amazing food aside....the staff at this location, are great. They are all super friendly, very customer oriented and really care about your experience! You can also tell they all like working there ..which is a plus! Everyone seems to rave about Snooze. Yes, my food was good, but was it rave-worthy? Not really. The only thing worth raving about was our bartender/server/barista. I believe her name was Chelsea. She was awesome. I'd been wanting to try Snooze for a while. Last time I tried, the wait was over an hour. I'm just not going to do that for breakfast. This time around I was quoted 20-25 minutes, but was seated at the counter within 5 minutes - yippee!!! I started with the mmm..mosa. It was good, and a generous pour, but I couldn't really taste the pama liquor. Oh well, it still satisfied. I opted for the scramble with chicken sausage, cotija cheese, and green chili sauce. Again, it was good, but I think another combination probably would have been better. The chicken sausage didn't wow me (next time I'll go with the beef barbacoa!) and something in the mix had a slightly sweet taste. Good, but not great. The kicker was we sat at the counter for almost an hour after we ordered before we got our food. Even Chelsea noticed we had been waiting an extremely long time and went to check on our food. Apparently she was told my scramble "didn't make it" and they were having to remake it. How does a scramble not make it?! All I can figure is someone must have dropped it on the floor or something, but if that was the case it would have been nice to be informed of the delay. To Snooze's credit, our total bill seemed less than it should have been. Neither my friend nor I looked closely at the itemized bill before handing over our cards, so my guess is they comped my suicidal scramble. Then when I left to use the restroom, someone came and cleared my plate, drinks, everything. My friend was still sitting there eating. Thankfully I was done or I would have been really upset. The decor is fantastic. I definitely love the vibe of this place. And, if I can get a seat without an exhorbitant wait time, I'd totally try this place out again. But, given that it's still one of the hottest breakfast places in town and a long wait is likely, I doubt I'll be back soon given our strange experience. read more

Napkins were available on request only, and the restrooms gave "Climate Change is the 1st World's Fault" Vibe. Childish Naming of Menu Items. It makes it a tiny bit harder to start your morning at an AM eatery when your trying to read it in underdeveloped millennial-style speech patterns. Like "Benny" instead of Benedict. The tastier options are almost always $4-$6, because goodness forbid you want good meat. Office just moved very close to this location of Snooze. I had driven by the branch on Colorado Blvd on the weekends and seen people waiting outside in some pretty bad weather. My coworkers and I have been keeping our eye on the place on the way to finding a lunch, commenting with incredulity about the people waiting. One day we walked in and asked how long the wait was. An hour. AN HOUR. Really? The food explains the lines. Finally got in after a co-worker volunteered to run down and put his name in one morning this week. The wait was 'only' 35 minutes. He came back and then we headed back down a few minutes later. The staff was young (our waitress was absurdly cute), but service was prompt and personal. There was only two of us and we both wanted to get something savory from the breakfast menu but knew we had to order some sort of pancake, so went for the pineapple upside down. The waitress helpfully asked 'one or two'? We got one. (Their pancakes fill the diameter of a dinner plate, btw). This was the best specialty pancake (I tried the phrase 'novelty pancake' when telling people about it, but that didn't catch on) I have had that wasn't served by one of my parents in the 80s. The texture and rise were perfect- neither too leavened nor undercooked. Pineapple chunks cooked into the batter. Excellent. The obvious worry when ordering something other than plain pancakes and syrup is that the restaurant is going to give you something so sweet you can't eat more than a couple bites. The menu said this pancake came with vanilla creme anglaise and brown sugar butter. Both were sweet, but not too sweet. Super delicious. As my main dish I went for the most traditional Eggs Benedict with ham. Eggs perfectly poached. The ham was awesome- not some mass produced, corn-syrup injected crap, but not overly salty like country ham. English muffins toasted to crispy delight on the grill with a bit of real butter. Hollandaise - best I've had. Rich but light in texture, with a taste of cheddar. Not gloppy from cheddar or oily. Drink menu looked tempting too, but alas, it was 11:30 on a Thursday. As far as prices, more than reasonable for the quality of food that was put in front of me. Around $10 for the Eggs Benedict with hash browns, everything sourced and prepped with attention and care? Yes please. (I haven't been to Village Inn in ten years, but I assume this is only a dollar or two above what you'd paid there.) I could do without the in-your-face, calculated kitsch-throwback 50's interior design, but the kitchen is putting food on the plates that made me oblivious to it. Minus one star: My only true complaint is the ridiculous 'wait in line, no reservations' system they currently have going. Are there not ways to continue seating people in a first-come, first serve manner without making them physically stand in front of you and saying their names, then wait outside? How about a 'you got a drop-dead five minutes to get here' auto callback or SMS message? If you want some tech help to set this up, let me know. read more

I love the atmosphere its really great, and service is amazing! I love that you can get 1/2 orders of items to get more food. I had the 1/2 of the Chilaquiles Benedict (omg so so so so so so good) Just spicy enough, with so so so much flavor. It was so pretty I almost didn't want to try it. ALMOST. So glad I did though and 1 Gluten Free pancake with chocolate and peanut butter (this was super sweet but I had to try it). I am definitely a regular at this hip breakfast joint! I went here on NYE as a splurge and yes there was an hour wait, but I stopped into Macy's and the time flew!! AND YES IT IS WORTH IT!! I had the stickybun french toast and the pretzel egg sandwich. No, I didn't eat them both by myself...but I probably could have their food is so good. So we decided we would wait for an hour and they said they would text us when out table was ready.We walked around the mall and 70 min later we got the text to be there in 5 min. We took off right away. It took us 6 min and they gave away our table. Then we ended up at the counter. The food is not spectacular. I prefer the pancakes at iHop. Service is very slow. Its loud. Okay, backing up, I personally don't buy GF bread anymore so have never made french toast at home, and since there are never any breakfast places with good GF breads, I have just skipped it ......until now. I heard such great things about Snooze's GF options I had to give it a try. SO SO glad I did, it was very good. I was surprised when I asked about GF options and instead of being given just a few choices, almost the entire menu was open for me. THAT was impressive in itself. Coffee and service were all great. Got a side of bacon and it was thick and cooked perfect for me (not overdone). I would give them 5 stars but I haven't really tested the menu out, I will revisit that after I have been a couple times. Portion wise, the GF french toast was on the smaller size (perfect for me though) and more then enough on a side order of bacon (well, is there ever enough bacon?!). I went on a week day after hearing about the wait times. At 8:30 am it was only half full, but surprisingly when I left around 9:30am it was filling up. Will be back, just wish it was closer! I'm a frequent traveler all over the US and eat out at least 8 times a week including breakfast. Snooze is HANDS DOWN the best breakfast place in the country. Think about it, which breakfast place can get away with making people wait for an average of 30-45 minutes no matter what time of the day and get away with it? Anyone, who is anyone, will tell you i'm a sucker for breakfast. not only is it the most important meal of the day but it's my absolute favorite! so when my good friend suggested we try it, i jumped at the thought! Star 1= perfect little venue. very unique style and atmosphere, which i LOVED. Star 2= awesome service. despite the fact the line is constantly out the door, the service is decently quick and friendly. our waitress was all smiles, cracking jokes and suggested some yummy items on the menu...which i of course tried! Star 3=Free coffee. due to the long wait [our was about 30 minutes...which wasn't bad for brunch on a Saturday!] and they happily make coffee, available to anyone :) Star 4= orgasmic food. seriously. i ordered the eggs bene [wow!] which came with the most delicious hash browns, in addition to a side of bacon, which was outstanding! because their pancakes are well known for being out-of-this-world, i HAD to sample one, and just one! our waitress surprised us with the pineapple upside down pancake drizzled with some yummy frosting and cinnamon butter. goodness! Star 5= my newest favorite breakfast joint :) despite the calorie overload and food coma i was put into after eating...this place stole my heart. read more

I won't hit the snooze button if we're heading to snooze for breakfast! har har. seriously though, this place is great! the restaurant itself is super cute and fun decoration-wise, and the location is pretty good (especially if you wanna do some shopping to work off the meal) since it's located right next to a giant macy's. the food was fantastic! I had the Sandwich I Am, which was amazing, and my boyfriend had the Breakfast Pot Pie, which was very unique but also delicious. The place was packed, and the wait was a bit long, but it was worth it. I must admit, I was a little afraid to drink the water - it seemed like everyone there was either pregnant or had babies with them...but surprisingly no baby was screaming the entire time we were there, and we sat right next to two of them. the restaurant must be quite calming for that to happen. overall this place gets 5 stars from me - amazing food, fabulous staff, pleasant patrons, lovely atmosphere. I wasn't particularly delighted with our 45 minute wait, but I can say it was worth it. There's a reason people wait for this meal! Once we got inside, we were treated to friendly service at the bar. Snooze has a great selection of unique brunch cocktails, but we were too hung over from the night before to partake. The menu is egg and cheese-heavy, which is not my kind of food. However, I selected a breakfast pot pie (sans eggs) and hashbrowns with green chili sauce. The pot pie is a flaky piece of puff pasty smothered with a rosemary sausage gravy and real vegetables (carrots and leeks were what I identified), and the hashbrowns were tender and delicious. The green chili sauce complimented them perfectly, with a tangy, slightly spicy flavor. My husband had the corned beef hash and really enjoyed it. The portion sizes here are just right, very little food waste, and the price point is reasonable. The atmosphere is hip and funky and trendy. A definite must for your next breakfast/brunch! read more

My husband and I went to Snooze for breakfast on a Friday morning before a day of home improvement work. I'd heard great things about it and since this one opened up close by, we had to try it. The greeter was polite and seated us right away. However, our waitress didn't come to greet us for at least 5 minutes. The place was only half full so I'm pretty sure she wasn't too busy. She was very short with us, not polite at all, and seemed to disappear a lot. I felt the entire staff was a little pretentious and full of themselves. Seemed like a lot of hipsters to me which is fine. But...the food was great! Being my first time there I wanted to try the old standard...buttermilk pancakes. And they were fantastic! I also tried some of their homemade sausage and holy cow...so good! I'm a diet soda drinker. I don't drink coffee so when I'm out eating breakfast, I order a diet coke/pepsi. So I ordered my diet coke. What came out wasn't diet coke...I only later found it was some natural cane sugar diet crap. It was SO sweet I couldn't drink it. Waste of $2.50. I guess I should have noticed on their menu that they don't serve coke/pepsi but this other natural stuff but the waitress didn't say anything to me. So instead of my diet coke, I drank my glass of water plus my husbands since the waitress wasn't around more than three times during our whole visit. No one to refill my water. I don't think I'll go back to Snooze. The food was really great but the service wasn't worth the price we paid. read more

Quoted wait time was 25 min. Took 75 minutes. When we told or server he said. ." That sucks like a mother f+++++." Will not be coming back. These guys think that loud music, rude staff, and trendy decor makes them cool. I call it a fad. read more

I want to love snooze... I really do... but the wait is always long, my order was messed up 3 times in a row now... and I can't look past this anymore. I will say the staff is always friendly and the coffee is good but enough is enough, I am officially boycotting this location of snooze! I suggest you do the same. read more

I feel a need to review this glorified place. Our party waited an hour on a Sunday, which really was expected, the wait isn't bad as others have said free coffee and plenty of places to explore while you wait in South Glenn. When we were seated the hostess seated us at another ready table that suited us better and our server promptly got our order for drinks and food. The food is unique, not something you can get anywhere. I enjoyed it, I can now say I tried it. I may be back, but it is no longer on my priority list. read more

Snooze has an elaborate and enticing menu. They offer signature dishes ranging from peaches and cream french toast, to sweet potato pancakes, to breakfast tacos, to the Bella! Bella! Benny. You can split plates with a fellow guest at no charge, or if you order them by yourself, the price will round up to the next $. While not cheap, you do get your money's worth. There was about 1/2 an hour wait to be seated, but Snooze is very popular, and for a good reason. The food is worth the wait. (While waiting, you have time to get a coffee at Peet's next door.) I had a 1/2 order of the peaches and cream french toast and a 1/2 order of the Bella Benedict. I really enjoyed the Benedict. It had prosciutto, Taleggio cheese, and poached eggs on toasted ciabatta, topped with cream cheese hollandaise, balsamic glaze and an arugula garnish. The flavors and quality were wonderful, but the balsamic is a tad strong for the other flavors, so you may want to get that on the side and add it yourself. (When they bring out the plate, the balsamic drizzle over the cream cheese hollandaise makes it look like twin sundaes.) This comes with a "hockey puck" of hash browns which are medium grilled on top and tender from middle to bottom. I usually prefer well done & crispy hashbrowns, but the flavor was good. Although the peaches and french toast was quite nice, it was a bit sweet for my taste. I appreciated the fresh peaches and the crunch of the granola, but the vanilla cream and streusel boosts the sweetness quotient a fair amount. On a previous visit to the Colorado Blvd. location, I had the Breakfast Pot Pie, which has rosemary sausage gravy over flaky puff pastry, topped with an egg, and hash browns on the side, and it was a mouthwateringly savory offering. The best breakfast place on the planet. I've been to the one in Fort Collins and Denver many times. I've heard they opened one in San Diego and can't imagine it is any less glorious than its Colorado counterparts. My problem when I go to Snooze is answered by the old adage-- my eyes are far too big for my stomach. I want everything. Literally, everything. Some of my personal breakfast food favorites include: the breakfast pot pie, corned beef hash, ham benedict, carrot cake pancakes, and red velvet pancakes. It doesn't end there. I really like Snooze! Believe me, I will be the first one to point out when the hype is not true. But Snooze is legit. First of all, I love the decor. Casual but very cool design. What I don't love so much is the wait. I even waited for 30 minutes on a random Wednesday at 10am. Wild. But if you have what the people want, I guess that's what happens, right? 30 minutes is my limit, so I've never even tried to go on a Saturday or Sunday. I stick to less popular days and times and that has served me well. Once or twice there's been an open table as soon as I've arrived. Service has always been fast and friendly. As for ordering, I usually get the pancake flight because I just can't decide. I always take some home because it is sooooo filling. In particular, I know I like the pineapple upside down, sweet potato, and red velvet pancakes. Keep on keepin' on, Snooze. read more
