Party of one. Unfortunately, this is a must wait to be seated type of place. Waited five minutes before the hostess even acknowledged me. Was one in a corner literally one server could see me. Waited 10 minutes and no server came over to greet me or start a drink order. Ended up leaving because that's awful customer service. The hostess didn't even say anything not did she try to rectify the situation either. Urban Egg is far better anyways in terms of customer and food anyways. Besides the fact that the food was great.... like super yum, the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful but our server Liz (or as it said on the top receipt said the Notorious L.I.Z) was on point. She was super fast... my highly modified latte came out in 1 minute, our food came out correct and quick, and our receipt was on the table as we finished our food. Very disappointing. It was crowded as usual but not sure why since the service is poor and the food is ordinary and overpriced. I got a scramble with grits and a pancake. The pancake was dry and tasteless. The grits had the texture of dry mashed potatoes. They came out cold. Next to our table, the two guys asked for "to go" cups for their soft drinks...they got their cups along with another check for the refills! It won't be long before the reality of poor food and service takes over their once well-earned reputation. read more

Had to see what the hype was all about...so headed there on a Saturday morning with my husband and daughter. We arrived about 8:30, and found ourselves facing a 40 minute wait. We decided to stay, since some reviews on here mentioned much longer waits...however if we had been quoted the actual hour and 10 minutes it took to be seated, we definitely wouldn't have waited around. The annoyance at the wait may have made us already a little biased against the place, but I can't say anything too bad about the food. My daughter inhaled her pineapple upside-down pancake, it was definitely tasty but we were also starving. I ordered the breakfast pot pie, which I sooo wanted to love, but those vegetables, especially the carrots (carrots!) mixed in with the sausage gravy were a turn-off. I get what they were going for with the "pot pie" idea, I just wouldn't expect nor want carrots in my sausage gravy. The hash browns on the side were pretty good, served in crispy little cake shape. My husband had the best meal, a benedict with smoked salmon and a yummy jalapeno cake on the bottom. Seemingly an odd combination, but when you combined all the elements, inlcuding the perfectly poached egg on top, it was delicious. His one negative was that the "spicy" bloody mary wasn't spicy. At all. Even though there are a few other menu items I would like to try, I really can't see us going back here unless we are randomly up at the crack of dawn and are first in line when they open. I went to Snooze with my sister prepared for a long wait for a table. When we finally were seated, we waited about 5 minutes before we were greeted by a girl who was not going to be our server. She got us started with coffee and gave us a minute to look over the menu. Our server came over a while later and took our orders of eggs and sausage. We didn't hear from her or see her again for another 35 minutes. We actually had to get another server to give us a refill on our coffee. The food wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad. However, during our meal, a girl was going around to tables making balloon animals, which is a fun idea, but the size of the restaurant does not allow for much room between tables. My sister and I were continually wacked in the face with long balloons as she twisted them into creatures. When we were ready to leave, our server gave us a ticket and I handed her my credit card. She then proceeded to help 4 other tables with my credit card in plain view the entire time. She even sat down at a table to take orders and laid my card on the table. After she swiped my card, she stopped by 2 more tables to drop of silverware before coming back to give me my card. That, to me, is not ok. Needless to say, I will not go back to Snooze. read more

The food is excellent! I can't deny that. Pancakes, omelettes, and more are all to die for. The service is good, but the wait is painful. Even on a weekday, you're going to be waiting. If you can sit outside, I highly recommend it because inside is VERY NOISY. They need to turn the music down and install some sound baffling (the interior is a cute diner motif, lots of steel and tile). Hopefully I have the right location, my friends and I went to the one in Southglen. First off, let me say that the food is worthy of the praise. However, I gave Snooze 2 stars for a reason. We expected the wait (even on a Wednesday), and the 35 minutes we waited was exactly what we were told to expect when we were greeted. So far so good. Here's the downer: the service we received was terrible. It was hard to tell whether our waitress was careless or clueless, but it was one of the two. It took ten minutes for her to get our drinks, and another ten or so to get our orders. Although the food was great, the lack of urgency from our waitress was a damper on the whole experience. No matter how good the food is, you can't really enjoy it while your thirsty eyes look at an empty glass for 15 minutes. I don't think she ever mentioned what her name was, but apparently she goes by 'nerd'. I'm sorry southglen, I'll be getting my Snooze fix taken care of at another location from now on. read more

We got there around 7:45 am and still had to wait about 10 minutes or so, but the food is delicious! Their cocktails are a bit expensive but definitely worth it. My boyfriend got the bella benedict which I would HIGHLY recommend, I got the backyard BBQ benedict which was tasty but not as good as the bella. There was a card on the table that went on extensively about the history of the place and the emphasis placed on coffee, but we both thought the coffee was just so-so. I've been to snooze 6 times, I've eaten there 3. The wait is unbelievable. I swear every time I looked at our Name it was getting farther down the line. Amazing! Every time i go I get something different from the menu, and every time I'm incredibly happy with what I get. Not to mention the staff and waiters couldn't be any more friendly! Our waiter literally sat at our table and took our order and had conversations with us. This is my favorite place to get breakfast! They are so fast and friendly it's unbelievable! Get their iced chai, it is the most amazing one you will ever drink in your life. I just wish they were open all day. It would be amazing to get breakfast there when you're completely wasted, and munching. The atmosphere couldn't be any greater either, with the 60's styled decor and the incredible staff. I stumbled into Snooze after checking it out online in advance of a trip to Denver. When I arrived, I was greeted by some of the friendliest faces I would see for the duration of the trip. Two hostesses were managing an extremely busy breakfast crowd, making it look easy with smiles the entire time. They have a system in which you can give the hostess your cell phone number and receive a text when a table is ready. I always appreciate restaurants that do this, because it reduces the crowds and doesn't keep you tethered to a waiting area if you'd rather walk around. Food was good. My husband and I had the Sandwich I Am - a sausage and egg sandwich on the softest pretzel roll ever - and a side of hash browns. I had the pineapple upside down pancakes, which were light, fluffy and sweet perfection. Had to tone it down a bit with a cup of coffee, but still very good. The only reason Snooze loses a star is because of the wait. Some people don't mind waiting for a restaurant, but I personally don't like to stick around for more than about 20 minutes - and this place was somewhere around 45. Apparently, that's the norm for Snooze. Just a personal preference that has nothing to do with the food or service. Definitely worth a visit if you have the time! read more

I must say I had my frustrations in the past but after over a year of going back I just have nothing bad to say. Snooze is consistently busy because their food is amazing and worth the wait. If you want something different or just simply worth writing home about then snooze is worth a visit; the care and originality in their plates takes second to no other breakfast dishes I have seen. Words of advice - everyone at this point knows they rock so if you're not enlightening a friend get it to go. Their prices should be higher so make an event of it and treat yourself. Lastly they actually care about service so enjoy your visit and if they happen to disappoint let them know. To sum up - these guys make the best food out there and their service embraces the food they get the pleasure of standing behind. My boyfriend and I went here on Sunday and it was such a great brunch. We got there around 12:00 and it was quite busy so we put our name in and 20 minutes later they sent me a text saying our table was ready. The staff is great.. very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I had the French Toast Neat and he had the Banana Nutella Situation each with a side of hashbrowns. The food was amazing and we now know why there is such a hype about this place. I definitely recommend Snooze... just be prepared to wait a little to get a table. read more

I just picked this location as closest to me, I am a Colorado native but have never been to a Snooze in Colorado as of yet, everytime I have tried the line has been way to long! I did of all places go to the Snooze in San Diego and it was A+++! The wait however was just as long!?! No matter, it was well worth the wait and I am a picky breakfast place guy as bottom line making breakfast at home is so easy why go anywhere lol let me tell you the mimosas are on point and the food is delicious and fresh. They were true to the CO origins even out in CA and all the servers seemed happy and focused on customers. Almost everyone had some sort of Colorado logo on ( didn't seem forced or mandatory) the clothing they wore and it made me happy to see so far from home. Super cool vibe so I will be checking out this location shortly. read more

Yes there's a long wait but it's the perfect opportunity to make friends and win at hacky-sack! And they give you coffee while you wait for free. I would even go as far as to claim that the wait is like labor and you forget how painful it was when you are given your baby (the food) but that's probably too far and not what you want to picture when you plan your brunch date. So, I would get pancake flight- and make OMG one of your options and order 2 other wonderful pancakes that are unlike any you have made, tried, or thought would exist! There's not much to be said about this place. It's consistently delicious, the hostesses are probably the nicest in the entire restaurant industry, the service is always good and the drinks are tasty! This place is solid. We meet our friends with littles here and we take my grandparents here; there's never been a bad experience or a complaint from anyone! Yeah, there's usually a wait. But, most breakfast places have waits after 9:00 during the weekend. The text alert system they use is so wonderful, especially because Southglenn is a great place to stroll around. Normally I think Snooze would get a 5 star rating, however if you are celiac, DON'T EAT HERE!! Don't believe their gluten free claims. Our waitress was great and had a good understanding of celiacs, the kitchen clearly does not. Within three hours of eating their "gluten free" pancakes I was horribly ill. Called my son who also has celiacs to tell him not to eat there but he said he already had in the past and also got very ill. (Wish I would have talked to him before I went.) read more

Yes you wait if you come during busy times - but there's a reason for that. It's that good. Waitstaff is consistently nice, efficient. Food always on point, and good quality, imaginative menu. Love the hip round booths, great for conversation and getting in from two sides. This is definitely above average food and the best coffee mugs in town. read more
