We finally get seated and decided to start off with a pancake flight which was pretty good then our meals come out and before she can place it on the table we noticed a hair on the food. The waitress takes it back as now my wife is left not wanting too eat hers while I wait for mine. I really felt they could have done more too make the situation better. We were told that our table would be ready in 20 minutes, however we had been waiting for over an hour. We had young, starving children who hadn't eaten all day, plus it was someone's birthday today, making it a terrible experience for her. We left the restaurant without eating. Such a fun and cute atmosphere and we loved our meals. My husband had the corned beef hash and I had egg white protein scramble with delicious chicken sausage. The wheat toast was outstanding too. Don't get to Plano often so we're hoping a Snooze goes in in McKinney. read more

We just left Snooze, the food was great. Ww got strawberry shortcake pancakes and a pumpkin pecan pancake, with a side of bacon but different, it was delicious. But let me tell you what made this an extraordinary visit was the service. Ahsanii was Incredible. She's one of those rare servers who have the ability to make your day better with her amazing personality. The bartender was also incredible, I didn't catch her name but was super helpful and perfected my drink for me. If you go, ask for Ahsanni. I would go back just to see her. read more

No one came to wait on us for about 10 minutes until the manager came over. I would suggest eating at the bar if you want attentive service. I was at the soft opening and they did a great job, but since then it's continued to decline. Had a very "meh" experience here this morning. We arrived around 9:15 and were sat immediately--it wasn't busy. We ordered lattes right when we sat down and didn't get them for 10-15 minutes. When the lattes were dropped off, they were lukewarm, which was a bummer since it took so long to get them. We ordered our food around 9:30 and it didn't arrive until after 10. Again, it wasn't that busy, so it's unclear why it took so long. When our food arrived, it was obvious it had been sitting under a heat lamp, and some of the food still managed to be cold. We were there almost 2 hours and saw our server maybe 4 times. Everything tasted good, but the temperature and timing were definitely an issue. This area needs a place like this to be successful, so hopefully this bad experience was unique to us. We've been to many (very very busy) Snooze restaurants across Texas and always have had great experiences, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Hopefully they figure it out! read more

Make sure you're only thinking about this place for dine-in or during off hours. Attempted to place an order online, and it wasn't available, instructed me instead to call in for take out. Called the restaurant and was told to go online to order. After explaining online orders were not available, the staff explained they do not allow to go order to prevent the kitchen from being overwhelmed. Called a different brunch-only place down the street that had no problem taking my order, even during their own peak hours. Seems like a solvable problem to handle order volume, but won't be attempting them again unless I have time to kill to go wait for a table and have a multi-hour brunch. Buyer beware. read more

I met a couple of guys for breakfast here. It was a pretty cool 60's modern-style decor. They were very flexible with us as we weren't sure who was going to show up. I ordered the Shrimp and grits, one of the other guys had the eggs benny, and the other guy had the corned beef hash and eggs. I am not trying to be brutal but this was nothing to write home about. I think their coffee tasted kind of funky. I wouldn't order it again and I love coffee. The have a different "twist' on food items but its not enough to win me over. When we asked each other if we would come back we all said the same thing, "Meh". I don't like leaving a bad review or even a mediocre one but this just didn't score big with us. read more

OK...my wife's meal was prepared wrong so they happily took it & offered to re-make it correct. Good service. However the replacement took quite a while. Then....the server said the meal was taken off our bill b/c of their mistake. Great......wait....our bill was for everything & he further explained that the replacement meal was taken off our bill. My boyfriend and I thought we were going to have a cute brunch date for our anniversary, but that wasn't the case at all. We get there to our table and it's dirty. The guy goes "oh no" in a sarcastic tone. We said it was fine and asked to sit outside. He was happy with our choice seeing that we weren't going to get served. Great variety on the menu, and great taste. I was in a party of nine and they were able to see us promptly. Our server was incredibly kind and was prompt. They sat us all together so we could enjoy each other's company in a well lit ambience with soft surroundings sounds that did not drown out our conversations. My first visit here when it first opened was fantastic, great service, awesome food, nothing negative to say. My second visit here is what is causing me to never go here again. My boyfriend and I waited over an hour and a half for our food. We watched multiple tables (we were seated outside) inside, and out get their food before us, even though they sat the others down WAY after us. Server kept ducking our table, and kept telling us "just a couple more minutes", and "they're plating the food now!", yet we still didn't get our food until about 15-20 minutes after, and it was cold. Took long enough for the waiter to greet us that we were able to review the menu and place our order upon initial greet. Complicated order....Eggs Benedict and the Snooze Classic, over medium. Eggs Benedict eggs were cooked all the way through(no run at all) and yet not very warm. Over medium eggs were barely cooked at all. Bacon was good. Waitress tried hard.
