    Chai latte
    Sara L.

Stopping in for the best truly fresh chai tea latte on my 49th birthday, this neighborhood gem is still thriving. You can smell the fresh herbs steeping as community strolls by on this sunny Saturday afternoon. Staff remain focused on quality. The small outdoor seating on the side welcomes. Snow White Coffee continues to deliver.

    The 89' , delicious'

The 89' IS IT, delicious and creamy! Perfect balance of coffee and half and half. I'm a local to socal but come down here often and will definitely be back the only downside is the coffee sizes are too small :( but the barista was extremely nice, and quick! Thank you again!

    Oat milk macchiato & espresso
    Felix W.

I got an espresso and an oat milk macchiato. Both were very good. The espresso had great texture and crema. The flavors weren't intense but it wasn't bitter or burnt and low on acidity. I tasted citrus undertones. The oat milk in the macchiato added good texture to the espresso.

You want a tasty coffee or a lovely espresso drink without attitude? This place in Piedmont ave near MacArthur is wonderful. Straight up great coffee.

It's a coffee menu like every other place..... except it actually tastes good! Service is great, sarcasm and cynicism are frequent here, so if that's your bag, then come on in! They make your drink before they ring you up and it's usually one person working at a time, so be nice to someone who's making your latte!! #haveaSnowWhiteDay

Stopped by Saturday morning around 11:30. No line and my latte was prepared quickly and tasted great. Just one girl working at that time and she seems like a good barista as far as I can tell! Clean but tiny place and love supporting small businesses.

    Espresso and Kouign-amann

They pull very nice espresso shots there. Staff is super friendly. I like the simpler, casual ambience. Where ever they are sourcing their Kouign-amann, it is top notch.

Newish update to the parklette is lovely. Great coffee here!

Simple coffee shop. More outdoor seating is a fine improvement. Few bells and whistles but beautiful murals and well crafted coffees with Starter pastries.

My shaken cold brew was awful. I like half and half so a shaken cold brew with half and half sounded great to me. I asked for no simple syrup. The cold brew itself tasted off. I actually make cold brew at home using coffee beans that I grind then steep. Not sure what they do here but their cold brew was awful and their half and half tasted so watery, like non fat milk. My coworkers coffee was cold so she asked them to remake it. Apparently their brewed coffee was sitting there for gosh knows how long and not switched out. Brewed coffee loses its freshness after one hour. Lackluster service with the barista/cashier. Like he'd rather be reading his texts rather than helping the two customers in his store. The two being us! I seriously won't be coming back.

This seems like a modest and unassuming coffee shop, though one with a great name! However this place has a quality which brings it right up there in the ranks - passion. You can feel the passion both from the enthusiastic customers lined up patiently to get their coffee as well as from the friendly determination of the barista himself. The place maintains a link to history, there having once been a small grouping of shops under the name "Snow White" at this location, long gone. This place itself located in an old dry cleaning location with the same name (very apt name for such!). The decor in the shop is modest and a little eclectic, but you can feel the character of establishment coming through - excellence through efficiency. The barista was super friendly despite having to handle a long line of surprisingly happy customers, there was a very decent selection of pastries efficiently laid out, and the normal array of espresso drinks. Any of which you choose will result in an excellent beverage made with love and passion.

    A neat pour over

Nice coffee place in Piedmont and loved that they have pour over options. Truly a dying art but it's so personal and you can really appreciate the beans! Try it out for yourself. Service was great and the barista was on the game!

Came in just before 9am on Friday morning for some strong coffee. Didn't have a hard time finding street parking. Ordered me a smooth, tasting pour over coffee for $4.25. There are a handful of pastry options. There is outdoor seating available. If you're so inclined, there's also some merch available to purchase. Pet friendly, too!

    Swag shot.

I've had great experiences at other Yemeni cafes with their ample seating and selection of drinks & pastries, and I decided to give this place a shot. Overall, I'm very happy I did! I was warmly greeted upon entering the shop and there was plenty of seating inside along with 3 big benches outside that were covered. Wifi was also free and the password was easily presented on the central pillar of the cafe. I ordered the an Iced Adeni Chai and Khaliat Alnahl (honey comb bread). I was a little worried about holding a bench down outside before receiving my order, but they have a sliding window outside too! This made it perfect so I didn't have to worry about going back inside and leaving my stuff behind. The iced chai hit the spot, with the spices elevating the chai. The honeycomb bread was unique for me, but also tasty. The sweetness of the honey cut through the slight sharpness of the cheese, which made for a tasty snack. The wifi signal was strong enough to reach outside and allowed me to take my Zoom call with no issues. There can be some people who try to approach you outside. However I popped in my headphones after a person came up, and I wasn't bothered for the rest of the afternoon. The only parking around is street parking. I came on a late Wednesday afternoon, and fortunately street parking was quite easy to find then.

They have a bakery section with a wide range of baklava and other pastries. I've had their hazelnut and walnut baklava, as well as their Malawa Cookies which were all really good. No offense to those who like Starbucks, but these days I prefer these less generic and comfortable coffee experience.. Mohka House provides that.

I've tried a variety of their coffee drinks along with one of the honey pastries. At their best, there's a lovely balance between sweetness, spice and coffee flavor. At their worst, the sugar and spice can overpower everything else and leave the drink feeling a bit one-dimensional. The standout for me is the Sana'a latte with slightly less sugar. That adjustment seems to unlock what they're aiming for: a really pleasant balance of spice, milk, sweetness and rich coffee flavor without tipping into dessert territory. Rich, complex and not overly bitter. The interior is polished and contemporary with chrome fixtures and bold graphic touches throughout. The overall vibe reminds me of a modern hotel lobby in a good way: comfortable, clean and easy to settle into for a while. Service has always been friendly and quick, though a touch distant. Would I call it a must-visit coffee destination? Probably not. But if you're in the area, it's definitely worth giving a shot. Especially if you're curious about spiced coffee drinks and willing to ask for a little less sugar.
