Never, I mean never order their chicken fried chicken if was like they dumped a cup of salt in the breading. Awful. I switched with my girlfriend it was that bad. This snuffers sit on a great location. We sat outside in the patio and had drinks and dinner. The weather was great to sit out there. The service was pretty fast and friendly. We ordered of course the cheese fries fully loaded and fried mushrooms for the table. Of course they were right on money! For an importu dinner it was great! I ordered their famous cheddar fries and some chicken strips and the rest of my party ordered burgers. There weren't any complaints. Their prices average $9 -10 per burger or salad. The waitresses are a hit or miss. I had to stand to look for my waitress but once I sat down she appeared. We were all pleased. read more

Haven't been here in awhile. We usually go into Dallas to places like Off-Site Kitchen and other places. I remember Snuffers on Greenville ave over 33 years ago as the best place to go to for the original burger. The manager was very friendly when we walked in. Our waitress, Lauren, was great. The burgers were good just like I remembered. The fries could have used more salt. Will visit here again especially when you have management and staff as attentive as they were. read more

We had a very bad experience with the service at this location this evening. We ordered some cheese fries as an app as well as our food. I started to notice everyone around us even ones that sat after us getting fries delivered. I had to ask for them and they ended up coming with the rest of our meal. Everything went down hill from this point. We had to flag down the waitress for everything including the check. I went here for dinner with a party of about ten plus two children. The service was great but the lighting was a little low, so when the sun set, the room was extremely dark. Other than that, the food was average, but you can tell that the restaurant tries to put their own twist on good ol' classics. I'd go again, but maybe for lunch this time. read more

Worst dining experience ever!!! My wife and I went to Snuffer's on Saturday night. When arrived, we went directly to the bar area for some drinks. After drinks at the busy bar, a waiter comes up and offers a bar table that just opened. The couple was moving to the dining area so we sat and ordered our next drinks and food order. My wife and I are chatting when all of a sudden a staff member flops down in the chair at our table and starts yelling loudly. He's got a mad look on his face and points to his clipboard. He asks us where our name is located on his wait list. We tell him that we came directly into the bar and the bar waiter offered us to dine here instead of the main dining. We find out the clipboard guy is the manager and he rudely tells us to get up and go back to the lobby and wait our turn. We tell him that his waiter gave us the bar table assuming it was separate from the dining area. He tells us they are so booked the waiter should not have offered it. We tell him we already placed our order. He rudely stares us down and tells us to get up RIGHT NOW and wait in the lobby. He would cancel our order. He's making a big scene and embarrassed both of us. We leave and WILL NEVER solicit this place. The manager was a complete jackass and needs to learn customer care. read more

Always a good choice when your hungry! Its not the original on Greenville Avenue in Dallas but it lives up to the standard. Good burgers, cheddar fries are off the hook. Ranch dressing taste homemade and I always order extra, very good. Staff is ok, your here for the burgers. Bar is pretty standard. Decent setup though with good views of the 3 flat screens from all angles. Beer is cold, however, they only have pint size if you order drafts. read more

I just don't get it. You put greasy chili and cheese on fries and serve bad salty burgers with poor service and everyone thinks this place rocks. Traveler beware!!! I am in town this week for work, my co worker suggested the place and we went for lunch after flying into town. I had the "Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders" that where supposed to be spicy. Talk about bland horrible tenders, not at all spicy in any way, had a very faint fishy taste to them which explains the shrimp tail that I found in among the tenders. Along with a part of an onion ring, so that tells me that you didn't even clean the fryer basket after you fried shrimp and onion rings. My co worker had the Dr. Pepper burger which he requested be cooked medium and came out well done. After we left my co worker mentioned that Alison our server stood behind me the entire time we were eating starring at my back. I mentioned that the tenders were not up to my standards and she just laughed and walked away. Come to find out when we got the bill they charged me .25 cents for the worst excuse of BBQ sauce I have ever tasted to go along with my tasteless tenders. I won't be back and I won't suggest to any of my co workers who travel to the area to visit either. read more

Historically, I've had good service, though last few times it's gotten worse.. .but yesterday ... First off ... my burger was awesome. No complaint there. My wife's, not so much. Once we sat down, our nice server took our bar order , which began the downhill slide. Took a LONG time to get a beer and margarita. Why? Because the bartender was BSing on her cell phone, instead of doing her job. I know this because I could see her from where I was sitting. My waitress confirmed with me that was the problem as well.. When the drinks arrived, we ordered. My wife's patty melt showed up with raw, crunchy onions on it vs cooked as per the menu. While eating, we noticed several waitresses by the front door screwing around, on their phones ( social media?) , acting unprofessional. Upon departing, used the restroom which were in dire need of upkeep ( no paper towels, trash overflowing). Upon heading the that restroom, i noticed a young man whom appeared to be the manager BSing with some of the staff outside the kitchen. Never once saw a manager checking on customers, the dining area, etc. It's obvious to me there is a management problem at this location. Hopefully, you all will fix it ASAP. read more

Snuffer's Rockwall service is the absolute worst. I love Snuffer's, but the Rockwall location is ruining it for me. Please someone in upper management do something to fix the service at this location. Waited forever for food, order was wrong, waited forever to get correct order. One of the things I love about Snuffer's in Rockwall is that you can go get a full service meal there until midnight most weeknights. One other thing I really like about this place is that you can get a consistently high-quality meal. The service is always pretty good and drinks are great. This is a reliable place to get a decent meal after hours or any time you're craving burgers. My husband loves Snuffers as well because he LOVES the salad with grilled marinated chicken as part of his low-carb regimen so we can go there and he does not feel at all deprived. Came in on a Monday night - around 7:30-ish, and the place was packed. Anticipated stressed service and a forever wait on the food, delighted to say it was neither! Cassie was great - crazy busy, but wonderful smile and can-do attitude. Cory-the manager was very attentive. When we were ready to order, and couldn't catch Cassie's eye, he got us started with drinks and sent her right over. I wanted a burger topping as an appetizer - fried jalapenos - Cassie was glad to do it no eye-roll, no"uhhh...I'm not sure." just a "Sure - we can do that!" Appetizer came out quick, hot and plenty! What else could you ask for? Hubs ordered Classic Burger with a side of fries, I took Cassie's suggestion and got the marinated chicken breast on the Chicken Strip Salad ( it can also be ordered with Buffalo style, fajita or fried chicken strips.) Food came out perfect! Hot, juicy and promptly. I was truly surprised. The marinated chicken had great flavor. The Classic was very good. Hubs commented the cheddar was of great quality. Cory followed up with us after a few bites. Both hubby and I are hooked! We'd be back for the food alone. Now here's where the 5th star comes in... Despite the fact they were super busy, not only was the service attentive. It was personable. Both hubs and I remember the original Snuffers - from way back in the day, and Cory shared some of the restaurant's history, and the fact that the Rockwall location will be remodeling soon. Cassie was equally personable. We were at Snuffers for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. I was fairly bummed as seasonal work demands had kept us from having a long weekend trip to celebrate. This restaurant is horrible. I used to LOVE this place and the last 3 times (I've given them plenty of chances!) it has been absolutely awful. To start, the tables are sticky and when you touch it, it's just gross. 2nd, the hamburger meat tasted like it had fillers in it and the buns are different, too thick and tasted stale and no flavor. The whole restaurant needs a deep cleaning and have a little more pride in their establishment! Management should take notice! Such a nice location that could take advantage of the lake view if they would just spiff it up and definitely work on their food! read more

The menu is limited but decent. The burgers are fair. The cheese fries are world famous, with reason. Basic bar food, turned family restaurant. Most everything is deep-fried and/or covered in mayonnaise. The waitstaff is very pleasant but the service tends to be poor. Even during slow times it takes forever to get service and for food to come, especially at the bar. Thankfully you have a nice view of the lake on the patio while you wait. Hamburger was ordered medium, came out raw; the breading on the chicken fried steak outweighed the piece of tough meat hidden inside; same for the chicken fried chicken; the cheese fries were extremely greasy as was the fried pickles and mushrooms. Yes, I know they are deep fried, but they were soggy with grease. Waiter was OK at best. Definitely WAS NOT worth the price. There were four in our party and no one finished their meal. Took 20 min to finally get our drink order placed and menu. When we got our food we waited 45 min to get it, then 3 out of 5 meals we ordered were wrong. after asking to fix they took 40 min to bring our vegetables and they were not peeled, had dirt all over them and were cold. When we told the manager they were dirty and cold he responded with "they didn't microwave them?" Seriously?! On top of all of that there was a weighter there who's hands were full, so he kicked the door open and knocked my niece out. She had a bruise within 5 min, they did nothing about it.
