Disgusting, rude and over-priced drinks. This place is rundown and beyond dirty, it is filthy with napkins remnants sticking to bar tops, mayo, dirty napkins and sticky worn-out bar tops with stinky rags laying about and trash/food all over bar floor. Took 3-4 minutes to be greeted at bar and then a good 4 minutes later to get our drinks (Almost 50% higher than other local places)...with 3 bar tenders and a manager (Nice greeting later on) not that busy for draft beer. Took another few minutes to cash out and with a no detailed receipt...had to ask another bartender to print a detailed one. We used to go here often but has turned into the once every few years due to experiences like this one. Maybe see you in another few years? It was a great atmosphere and had plenty of nice people helping us out. We were taken to our seat which was a large bench style table. It worked out great my wife and I had one side the kids the other. Our meal got to us pretty quickly With plenty of napkins for the kids. Total bill for everything wasn't to bad. Not sure why but they did charge an extra dollar for the sliders we had ordered 3 for 9.99 so maybe there was something extra. Still awesome staff Sidney D. Snuffers has reduced there menu to one page and now just over priced burger joint. The servers and bartenders are very concerned about them losing there regular customers. I went there at lunch last week and there was only about ten customers in the restaurant and yet it took about 10 minutes for a server to come to my table. We went there last Sunday and they have lost a lot of the Sunday lunch business because they have dropped so many favorites like meatloaf and chicken fried steak. So keep in mind they are just a over priced burger joint that charges $10.00 for a medium size chedder fry and $3 move for the extra sides. I been going there for the last 3 years but will not waste my time and money going to Snuffers. Plus they ran off my favorite bartenders who worked therefor over 10 years. The corporate office never answers any phone calls and customer service is horrible. read more

Been Snuffering since the '70s on Greenville Ave. Was stoked and became a regular when they opened in Rockwall; can't count how many burgers I have had there. Today it was not necessarily the well prepared burger that was delivered late and COLD or the appetizers that showed up AFTER the entrees. Not was it the overwhelmed bartender with no table service support. It is the MANAGER who instead of being apologetic just made excuses about how lousy his staff was and that as of tomorrow he will have a bunch of new people to represent his NEW management style LOL. Having eaten at Snuffers/Rockwall many times I would normally rate them five stars. But today we decided to order for pickup. The last time I ordered a Deluxe Grilled Cheese sandwich and wanted to do so again. I went to their website and voila, a graphic of their four grilled cheese sandwiches appeared. So I called the store to place my order but was told the only grilled cheese sandwich they had was the "Classic" (regular). Thus, I prayed this location would be halfway equivalent to the original. First, the interior has the personality of roadkill. This place is gross. The staff were nice but WAY understaffed, the burgers were good but took 45 minutes to get to us and they served us our appetizers half an hour after our burgers??? We had a great time at Snuffer's tonight. We arrived about 50 minutes before closing. They were on point with our food and drinks and treated us well. We ordered cheese fries for the entire table to share (4 adults). It came with ranch, bacon, green onions and jalapeños on the side. It was very good and was plenty for all of us. We all ordered our own entree as well. I had the classic burger and it was plenty big and with great flavor. The poppyseed bun was a nice touch. I also ordered the Tito's vodka lemonade. It was perfect blend of alcohol and lemonade mixture, very good. The sun had already set and no flying bugs were out, as we sat on the patio for dinner. The closing time of 10pm is great for spending the evening out on the lake, watching the sunset, and being able to still enjoy a dinner at a restaurant afterwards. read more

Very poor treatment in Snuffers tonight. The server took our order maybe brought us one of our food items and never set foot at our table again. We had to ask other servers and the manager for help. After explaining to the manager the poor treatment by our server she also showed very little interest. Very disappointing - I am sure if we had one of the other friendly servers our review would have been exceptional. read more

Went back on Monday evening (June 22nd). We downloaded the Snuffers app earlier in the day and received a free order of cheese fries. OH MY GERD. They were SO good. We ordered our usual Classic style cheeseburgers and split a small fry. NAILED IT AGAIN. Noticed they have a special on Tuesday nights for Classic Burgers ($5.00). That's a STEAL! As we were devouring our burgers we saw this HUGE order of chili/cheese fries with jalapenos (the works I presume). We just looked at each other and said, "we're getting those next time". I encourage you to download the app because you get reward points for free appetizers, etc. Restaurant is still practicing social distancing (every other table) is being used and all staff are wearing masks. The food was good. We all enjoyed our cheese fries and various burgers. The ketchup they have is a little off but their ranch is one of the best. This would have gotten another star if it wasn't for the slow service. Our server was nice and pretty good in the beginning but the last half of our meal our drinks went unfilled and it took twenty minutes to get our check after receiving our togo boxes. We will visit again and hopefully the service will be a little better. She was nice but must have gotten overwhelmed at some point. read more

The atmosphere is super dated and not even a cute vintage either so even though it's clean, it feels gross and dirty not fresh and relaxing. But the FOOD IS SOOO YUMMY!!! Ok... Snuffer's is a Dallas institution that we miss now that we live in Houston. Really enjoyed the Dak burger on our last trip but went back to our old standby order of Cheddar Chicken sandwich and Cheddar Fries. Pretty much perfect comfort food for a cold day. The burgers are nothing special, as the buns they serve them on absolutely kill any chance of them being winners. This terrible bread falls apart into crumbs as you eat, meaning you will have to finish your burger with a fork. Absurd! The service is bad to average, but never good. The wait staff bless their hearts are consistently bad. We had to explain to one of them what "fried" meant. Yes. Truly. The cheese fries here are legendary, and well earned. These greasy, sticky, calorie infused fries are a Texas Legend, and you need to say you had some. Really, its cheese with fries rather than fries with cheese. Order them "swiss cheddar style" and thank me later. Snuffers seemed to be better back in the day, but so did everything. You'll gain 4lbs just looking at them. They have a different concept when it comes to waiting tables. You don't have just one waitress, you have many. It works, it's just different. Sometimes we're bombarded with service, while other times, we're overlooked. But it's a burger place. It's casual dining, so don't go expecting 5 star service with linen napkins. I love this place, it has a great view of the lake. The one complaint I have is the bar is ALWAYS DIRTY! the bus people never bus the bar and the bartenders are too busy. So so bar food but the beer and drinks are good and cold. Very casual so you can wear your boating attire when you get off the lake. read more
