We came in yesterday with four of our kiddos. We enjoy the Cheddar Fries so much, they brought us in lol. I'm going to be honest.... the food isnt great, but it is good. The service is not top notch, but it is decent. It is not the cleanest restaurant, but you do not feel filthy sitting down. They get 5 stars for the way they handle things. I ordered something that was not to my liking. My server immediately acknowledged it, didn't question me, and attempted to fix it. After that, the manager promptly came and apologized. Let me first say that I have been a die hard fan of Snuffer's for 30+ years. I grew up around lower Greenville in Dallas and Snuffer's was always the popular go to spot. They were super busy and I understand that but I am not happy with the food and am disappointed. I will stick to Greenville Ave. Location. My cheese fries were.cold, like been cold for a while. I ordered extra ranch and paid for it but did not get any extra ranch. My burger was cold and all cheese was on one side and my bread was hard around the edges. My mom ordered cfc and the chicken was dry. We ordered 2 side salads and only got 1. I understand busy but I am still a paying customer. My advice don't get take out from Snuffer's. read more

We went in around 3:00 on a Friday afternoon and went to clean up in the bathroom and it looked and smelled like it had not been cleaned in 6 months. The faucets were falling off the sink. We decided to stay and give it a try, glad we did! It's a casual place with stunning views. We came at about 7:15 PM, it is now 8:52 PM and the sun has set, it is still a stunning view with Dallas in the distance and the cars on 30 cruising by. --I had the Classic Burger with vegetable medley on the side, he had the Dr. Pepper Bacon burger with chili on the side. My veggies were superb! The chili was ok, not going to say it was bad, but not Spicy. I asked if we could have the fries instead to go, she brought it all bagged up with ranch and ketchups, and the check! Love it! Last night we visited Snuffer's for the Tuesday $5.00 Classic Cheeseburger special. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio with beautiful weather. The real treat for us was Tracy ! She quickly came out to get our order. One of the orders for our table was a bit more complicated due to their custom requirements. Without writing anything down, she came back with the perfect summary for all three of us ! The happy hour drinks ( great value) and all the food was promptly delivered hot and fresh. Ok so the burgers and fries here are great and affordable. Drinks are cheap and strong. Bar is a great size. But the patio has to be the worst in rockwall. Sure you can see the lake. But the roar of the hwy is ridiculous and the management/ corporate folks put ZERO money back in to this place. The patio is an injury trap and a lawsuit waiting to happen. Screws are exposed on the fencing and railing is missing in spots. Clamps are on the floor waiting to be stepped on or tripped upon. Tables and chairs are sticky and peeling. And 3 of 4 fans don't work ! Wth?! How expensive can this maintenance be? Service is always good which is surprising to me for some reason and the food and of course the fries are great. They are known for their cheese fries, which use real cheese and not a cheese-wiz brand. Great cheese fries! 5/5. Their burgers were cooked to order, meaning a "medium" burger was actually medium cooked! So they pay attention to cooking detail! The atmosphere was good! A moderate crowd and a nice sized bar. Some TVs were on with sports on them (awesome). They have outside seating, which is nice. However, outside seating has a lot of traffic noise, but not a problem for me. I got to this restaurant around 8 maybe a little before, asked for a table for 2 and was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. My boyfriend waited outside, after about 45 minutes he went and asked how much longer and we immediately got sat outside. About 15 minutes later no one came up to our table or took our order or even asked how we were doing with multiple waitresses walking by us. I went inside and told the hostess we hadn't been waited on yet and she said she would tell a waitress. A few minutes later she came outside and said the manager was going to come out and we would be taken care of. Another several minutes went by and at this point it was 9:30 and still no manager, no waitress, no anything so we left. Update! Snuffers is now on the kid approved list! Thank Jesus. I brought my two stepsons here on Saturday afternoon. One had the kids hamburger and absolutely LOVED it and snarfed it down. He even said "this is better than McDonald's!!!". Praise indeed. The second child, of "I'm not eating that" fame, ordered nachos. I made him order a 1/2 order of nachos off the regular menu instead of the kid menu because I'm tired of people giving me the suspicious side eye when a 120 pound 12 year old is ordering chicken nuggets. His nachos arrive (sans meat/beans/tomato/anything green/no guacamole/no sour cream/just chips and cheese/oh god not even a speck of cilantro please) but he didn't want individual chips with cheese on it, he wanted a pile of chips with cheese on top, so "I'm not eating that" came out of his mouth yet again. You got to be kidding me. So he went hungry and me and the agreeable one had a great lunch. I'm writing review in regards to what they are doing for covid 19. All employees were wearing masks and gloves. Half didn't have the masks over their noses. This defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. Also wearing gloves gives a false sense of protection, leads to less hand washing, and increased transmission from surface to surface. Covid is not transmitted through the skin. Therefore gloves are not needed. If you wish to wear gloves they should be changed after every encounter with each table. Not worn table to table then touching the computer then going to get drinks filled and going to another table to deliver. All you are doing is spreading what's in the gloves from surface to surface. It would be more prudent to NOT wear gloves but to wash with hand sanitizer after each table visit. Also the women's restroom smells like sewage. If you want to lose your appetite just go in the ladies room. Needs some good pipe work or something because it smelled that way 8 months ago when we were there. The food is consistently great! The portions are great and reasonably priced! The happy hour menu is good too. We have tried a huge chunk of the menu and we have liked it all. Our favorites are the steak fingers, quesadilla (with marinated chicken), and the bacon guacamole burger. The live music on the patio has been a great addition. Some of these prior reviews are absolutely absurd. Is it dark and casual inside, yes! Is the service not entirely of a fine-dining caliber? perhaps. ITS A BURGER BAR. So your table might've been sticky; that's most likely the polyurethane these places are coated in, so the ambiance might not have had mermaids spouting water into a Grecian urn whilst Celtic bards serenaded you with mandolins. Give me a break! How about awesome burgers with all sorts of different toppings, and you can actually choose the patty size? 4.59? It feels criminal! Or, 2.99 bloody marys ALL THE TIME. 2.99 Shiner taps ALL THE TIME. This place rules!
