After a while we were attended to by Jason Chen. He answered our questions and educated us thoroughly. He gave us an estimate and never gave any pressure whatsoever. It wasn't until February did we decide to buy. I knew I wanted to return to Jason's care. We even upgraded our decisions. Jason was very accommodating and gracious. Gave us great pricing. I recently took my father and his wife here to do some shopping for their new bathroom. They had a great selection of products and brands that I had actually heard of. Let's face it, i don't spend a lot of time learning brands of faucets and bathroom hardware, so to see brands that I have actually heard of was nice. Nice big showroom. Jason was very helpful and didn't show them anything they weren't interested or could afford. Their house has a lot of older and antique furniture, but they wanted a more modern feel in the bathroom and the selection they had was perfect for what they were looking for. The five stars is for my one day of experience thus far. I read the reviews and went in with zero expectations of being helped. Since I wanted to look around first I didn't think that would be a problem. But shortly after my arrival, Jason Chen found me and was very patient answering all of my questions and giving great advice. I am in the beginning phases of planning a new kitchen do didn't but anything today, but if anyone needs help or recommendations, I highly recommend Jason. Okay, I have to giggle - I never knew Syder-Diamond had the word "discount" in their name. It certainly doesn't belong there! My experience with Snyder Diamond over the years has led me to this approach - look here, buy elsewhere. They have nice displays of a wide variety of plumbing fixtures, bath wares and high-end appliances. but no one is ever interested in helping you and the prices aren't very good. One example - I was remodelling a small bathroom this last year, I needed a countertop, sink, medicine cabinet and faucets. I went into S-D with my kids and bored them silly looking over stuff (it was for their bath). We were there 20 minutes and no one offered any help or information. They had everything we wanted in the store. My girls fell for the silestone countertops and I went up to the desk, thereby annoying one of the salespeople, asking for help with counters. He immediately passed me on to someone else, who "did counters". She immediately blew me off by saying they had a minimum counter square footage (I only needed a vanity top) and therefore couldn't give me a quote. No one ever asked me if I needed help with anything else. So.. highly irritated, I went home, found a local source for the silestone counters, found a web source for the Delta faucets, called around for the Kohler sink, found a web source for the Robern medicine cabinet. Honestly, I'm kind of an easy sell - I'm tired and don't have a lot of free time. If ANYONE at S-D had even tried, they would have been able to sell me about $2,000 of bathroom stuff on the day I was in. But they didn't - and I saved a bunch of money because of it. This isn't a one-off, it happens every time I have a project - I go into S-D (it's close), look at stuff, try to get help, get pissed and leave. I did actually buy something there once - my Meile dishwasher, 8 years ago. But even with an actual purchase (I knew what I wanted going in, no sales required) their customer service wasn't great and they don't sell parts or service appliances, so I didn't see any real benefit from buying there. Snyder Diamond is well located, nicely set out and has great stuff. But I'm damned if I know how they stay in business if everyone else does what I do! read more

We've passed by this place numerous times and finally decided to stop by as I happen to be looking for a washer and dryer. I was very disappointed with the customer service. There were several associates when I walked in and none of them acknowledged or asked me if I need help. I finally ran into an associate who asked if I needed help. I started asking him about the different brands (reliability, etc.) but he was of no help. He simply said they are all the same (and anyone who do their research knows not all washing machines are created equal) and that his customers never had any problems with any of the brands. He also can't help answer questions on size/space requirements. He adviced me to find the cheapest deal during black friday but then proceeded to tell me that they do not offer deals on black friday because this is not how they attract customers and that they offer high end appliances and that washer/dryer are their low end/cheaper items. Unfortunately the condescending remarks left a bitter taste, I will not be considering this place when we do our bigger renovations nor will I recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been in the store 3 times. All 3 times, not one person asked if they could help me. There were sales people standing around talking to each other but not one of them asked if I needed help. I'm actually quite shocked that I'm writing a 1 star review for Snyder Diamond. Despite their great selection and beautiful showroom, we received very poor customer service and long story short had to wait almost 2 months for our dishwasher. Part of this was due to delays from Bosch, but Snyder Diamond didn't communicate or handle this well. To begin with, they didn't measure our dishwasher space or even bother to ask. We asked about this but were told that "THEY'RE ALL THE SAME." And it turns out they're NOT. So that caused a further delay. Snyder Diamond did not take accountability for this and instead kept trying to blur this in with the Bosch delays. Both are separate and added to the delay when combined. We spoke with the General Manager Brian a few times, but at most he provided only a $50 reduction on a $1000 dishwasher and weekly voicemails w/ updates on the status from Bosch which we had to insist on. In total, you go to Snyder Diamond because they're the appliance experts and that was unfortunately not illustrated to us. Then great customer service could have recovered this, but instead fell short. And then last but not least, the GM could have saved us as customers and helped to course correct, but he also fell short. All in all, a very unfavorable experience. read more

Service/Salesperson is prompt but they feel like a car salesmen at a luxury car dealership. So don't expect to be assisted, you will be sales pitched. Also, not a lot of products are in stock, 'need to ship from another state, want to pay extra for expedited delivery?' Lovely showroom and polite, friendly service, though sometimes they seem to be unaccountably busy elsewhere. Good quality products, though not bargains, except that I had recently moved to neighborhood, so I got a good discount, 20%, I think. I bought a freestanding cast iron enameled tub here and am very happy with it. They also sold me the filler and handheld sprayer. I recently bought a new gas range and convection microwave from Snyder Diamond in Pasadena. It was a great experience, and Snyder Diamond is now my go to store for home appliances. First of all, the salespeople are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Second, the prices are very good and beat pretty much all competitors at the end of the day. Lastly, great customer service. My range was delivered and the bottom oven drawer was slightly warped. Brian (the manager) and his team at Snyder Diamond were all over it - they dealt with the manufacturer and within 15 minutes I was getting a brand new replacement range - no hassle, no wasting of my time. I bought a new shower valve with handles, spent almost $850.00 with tax. Have my plumber here, and it seems like there are 2 small nipples missing from the unit to make it an 8" on center handle spread. The plumber bought some copper adapters, and has been working to to resolve it for over 6 hours. I called to talk to the sales rep; waited for the operator to put me through, and got his voicemail. I left a message as to the urgency, but never got a call back. I now have a second plumber here, and things aren't working yet. Frustrated as it took over 11 weeks to get the items, and I relied on an experienced sales rep to order a complete package, and now can't get a call back. read more
