I'm originally from Detroit and this is right up there with the best Detroit style pizzas in the city. There's a great vibe in the venue with lots of Detroit themed decor. Getting all of the "Faygo pop" flavors "imported" from Detroit was a nice touch. Definitely check it out if you are near the Sodo area! read more

Our favorite local pizza place in Orlando now!! My boyfriend and I (local to Orlando for 6 years) have never tried Detroit Styled Pizza before and we weren't prepared for how good this place was. We got the Chicken Bacon Ranch & Detroit Rob City small pizzas (for 1-2 people each) and even had pizza left over to take home. The staff were very kind when delivering our food and went the extra mile to make sure everything came out correctly. I had heard several reviews about this pizza and was so exciting to try it out for myself. We ordered the Boblo Island Blues and the Detroit Rob City! The Detroit Rob City exceeding my expectations. The hot honey on top put the flavor over the top. We enjoyed the Boblo pizza but ordered it without blue cheese and wished we had ordered a side of ranch to dip the pizza into. Usually I'm not a fan of square pizza. I've always preferred a thin slice of pizza. I like to keep it simple. I stumbled upon this place and after eating, I was upset about how long I have been missing out on squared pizza! It actually started a kick. I found myself making square pizzas in my house every week. I really enjoy the choice of toppings the provide, they don't overdo it with their creation. But my favorite part by far is the crisp and crunch with every bite, especially the edges. read more

As a native to Detroit, I must say- "THEY DID THAT" omg like this is a slice of Detroit in the city of Orlando! It's a must for anyone who loves pizza in general but Detroit style and square pan pizza, this is it! The service when you come in, we were greeted by one of the people in the back; because you order on a kiosk and she was very pleasant! We took pics because they have a bunch of Detroit decor and being that my husband and I are from Detroit, we had to try it! Love the names of the pizza definitely giving the vibe that the person definitely knows Detroit! We ordered garlic cheesy bread and a 4 square pizza (Detroit Rob City) with the hot honey on it! MY MY MY MY MY..... fingers LICKING GOOD!!! when the bread and pizza came..... it was hot and cheesy and so much flavor and goodness! To me it blows any place that's saying they have Detroit style pizza out the water. I mean all the nostalgia... crispy and cheesy yet buttery crust. It was every bite of divine. We are definitely coming back and we are so glad we came. It showed up as a place to try on my IG feed and when we saw it my husband was like omg we have to go and that's what we did! They also had Faygo (including diet) and iykyk! MUST GO, you will be so happy you did! I wish this place was in Gainesville (where we live) because honestly it blows those places out the water, sorry not sorry.... Will the real Detroit style pizza please stand up! After seeing all of my friends rave about Sodough I k ew I wanted to give it a taste! We just moved to this part of town and Pizza is always a winner while in the middle of moving, so I stopped in. Actually I ordered ahead online. Then stopped in to pick up. The online ordering is easy and I chose to build my own. I am a big fan of Detroit style pizza and built ours with pepperoni and whipped ricotta. I ordered a large because there would be 3 of us eating. Just before I arrived I received a text letting me know the pizza was ready, love that. I parked out front and walked in, was greeted right away and handed my pie. So easy! When I got home we dug in and wow! It was yummy! Next time I will order with extra sauce because it was a little skimpy for my taste. All in all a great delicious experience and a new pizza spot we will add to our rotation. Parking is limited as it's a tiny lot and shared with the other businesses. read more

If you've never eaten at SoDough Square and you look at the pictures, it's obvious the food is fire! Literally, it's blatantly obvious that if you like Detroit style pizza, you'll love SoDough Square. This is a contender for the best pizza in Orlando and there is only one other pizza spot that I think could challenge SoDough for that title. 10/10...it's obvious this place is worth a try if you haven't already. read more

Great Detroit style pizza. I have visited 2x and tried different menu items and each time it's been delicious. I have tried both the Chicken Bacon Ranch which has lots of chicken and Enzo cup pepperoni pizza is very savory. When you walk in you can place your order on the kiosk or at the counter. The staff is friendly and always willing to recommend their favorite pizza. The place is shared with Tin & Taco which has great beer options to go along with your pizza. read more

Frico Baby! I really enjoy this modified Sicilian style of pizza most notably from Detroit. The skyline mural and crispy Frico will transport you right there. Og- This classic take on a cheese pizza was delicious. The frico was perfect, the crust was light and cooked perfectly. The cheese blend was fantastic. Pep- The flooring review applies, however with pepperoni. The little cupped meat medallion were crisped wonderfully, and tasted great. This was so good I tried to go back a couple days later and they were sold out. I look forward to trying many more of their options when they have a grand opening. If there is one thing that you learn from reading reviews, is there are far too many stupid people that are utterly clueless. This place is freaking amazing, I make it a point to stop by every time I am in that area. I wish there were one closer to me. If you are expecting Detroit Pizza to be like the pizza you are used to, it's freaking called "DETROIT" pizza, so quit with the ridiculous foolish exceptions. Highly accurate rant over, the rest of the intelligent civilized folks out there, go eat the pizza! read more

4 out of 5 Forks If you are looking for Detroit style pizza SoDough Square is your spot. Located in the SoDo district in a small plaza off Michigan Ave, SoDough shares their space with Tin & Taco. The best part of that dream team is that you can order your pizza on the kiosk then some craft beer and drinks from Tin & Taco (the selections seem endless). All pizzas ordered come out hot and fresh on their 24-hr. fermented Detroit dough and house-made red sauce. The menu also includes hot dogs and salads if that's more your style. We knew we were there for the Detroit pizza! One thing about me is that if a pizza has ricotta on it I am ordering it! We ordered the Detroit Rob City which came with red sauce, brick cheese blend, whipped ricotta, sausage, peperoni, fresh basil and to kick it up a notch Mikes hot honey. Top tier pizza! Next up, the Big Mac Attack! Basically, a big mac in pizza form. They went heavy on the lettuce which over-powered the special sauce and ground beef. You can order extra secret sauce at an up-charge. We had to try one with white sauce, so we went with the Chicken Bacon ranch pizza. The smoked bacon and the house ranch were a good combo. There is a new location opening in Winter Park sometime in June 2023 so go check them out at either location! read more

Been dying to check this place out and was totally worth it!! Pizza comes out in squares and a small is big enough to share as it's 4 slices. Comes out hot and fresh and delivered to your table. For non pizza lovers it shares a space with tin and taco. Definitely try it! read more

And the slice factory line got you in an out as quickly as it possible could. As for the slice itself, it was pretty ok. Good crust, foldable slice. Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Better customer service and more consistency in the quality of the pizza would go a long way. Based on this visit, I don't see myself returning.

Oh my goodness, I think I've found my new pizza heaven! Five visits and I'm already declaring this as my all-time favorite pizza spot. Can you believe that I used to be a pepperoni and sausage pizza skeptic? But then, the Detroit Rob City pizza came into my life, and I was blown away by its delicious blend of basil, hot honey, and whipped ricotta. Seriously, the flavors are like a well-coordinated symphony playing in my mouth. I'm so hooked that I haven't even bothered to try anything else on the menu yet.
