    Pizza!!!
    Laura T.

We got take out from here and it was amazing! The crust was baked to perfection, and we also got cheese sticks. The ingredients were fresh, and there was an abundance of them on the pizza. It also wasn't outrageously priced for such a quality pie. The sourdough crust makes it feel like it's a labor of love. We can't wait to come back and try out other pizzas! The packaging is also a very cute touch.

Great new Detroit style pizza place on 4th St N. We ordered our pizzas online and then got a text when they were ready. It probably was about 15 minutes. Small place inside with a few booths and window seating. The pizza was hot and fresh. You can tell the crust is made in house. We will definitely be back to try new pizzas! Highly recommend!

This was our first timing trying Sourdough Square. The location is small but there are three booths, one table, and counter space to dine in at. We tried three different pies. The Detroit was a stand out. The PBJ pie was good but once the pineapple was gone, I didn't want to eat anymore of the pie. The Chicken Bacon Ranch left much to be desired- between the sauce and the chicken it was not the type of pie I would want to eat again. I don't know if I am running back to this place but it was a nice, casual bite on a Friday after a long work week!

The pizza here is very tasty and the prices aren't bad for the portion size! I ate two slices of a small and was very satisfied, so they are great for sharing. We did an online order and my dad picked them up, so I wasn't able to see the inside and ambiance, but service was quick with this method. This is very delicious pizza and I'd order from them again for sure!

I grew up in the Detroit area so this review should be considered a real one! Amazing pizza and garlic bread, the crust, the sauce, the crispy edges - 10/10. Very authentic similar to Buddys pizza, and it's hard to find around here other than at Nonas. The inside was small but had a couple of booths, touch screen ordering, the owner brought us our food himself and it was right on time. The wings need more sauce but were better than they looked. Really glad this came to the area, we will back!

Staff was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pizza was easily the best we've had in St. Pete. The dough was crispy on the outside, fluffy and light in the middle and the toppings were perfectly dispersed. Cajun wings were a great size, crispy and fresh and the Cesar salad was a classic with sourdough croutons. No notes!

A very welcome addition to 4th Street! Staff and ownership extremely friendly and helpful opening weekend. Delicious Detroit style pizza. Limited seating and parking, recommend ordering ahead.

I have ordered pizza from here twice. It's amazing. I really like it! I usually like thin pizza. This is a thicker Detroit style pizza, but it has crispy crust and the sauce is delicious.

It was a solid pizza. It's not like the New York thing crust stuff I usually get but it was good. I would get it again if I was in the mood

As a first time customer, he treats you like you've been coming in for years. I ordered a Chicago Dog and a Polish Sausage, both served on perfectly steamed poppy seed buns with Vienna Beef franks and sausages loaded with super fresh toppings. I also had to try the Italian Beef, served on a fresh French roll piled with tender, juicy beef and hot giardiniera. I spent six years working in Chicago, and Paulie is turning out Chicago classics that rival some of the best I had there. He's ranked #6 on Yelp's Top 100 Sandwich Shops for a reason. Stop by, grab some incredible food, and take a few minutes to chat with Paulie. You'll be glad you did.

The first time I came was right after that article, and there were about 50 people in line, so I left. This Saturday I stopped by at around noon, and I was third in line. WARNING: do not be in a rush! Your food is not coming out quickly. Paulie is a sweetheart, but he is a one-man show, and he likes to chat and get to know all his customers. They currently do not carry the full menu they show online, so I went with a Chicago hot dog, and the Italian beef sandwich. Paulie educated me a bit on the sandwich; if I wanted it juicy (with the sauce already on it) or on the side to dip into (yes, please, I'm a dipper), and how spicy I wanted it (more peppers, less peppers). After a nice chat with Paulie about politics, I headed home and dug in. The Chicago hot dog was perfect, although I had to remove the hot peppers. The sandwich was outstanding; the beef so tender, the peppers and onions adding depth, and the roll was so soft-I could only eat half, but the other half heated up nicely for dinner. Can't wait to go back!

We arrived at 5:30 and it was packed, but a table opened for us within two minutes. The ambiance was awesome, with each table having its own miniTV! Guests didn't have to choose between watching Wimbledon or the World Cup (or anything else they chose). Such a clever idea and probably great for entertaining kids, too. The server was prompt and friendly, and we got our drinks and app ordered immediately. We split the corn dog as an appetizer (felt right for 4th of July), and my husband declared it was one of the best he ever had. A great ratio of the sweet fried dough and salty hot dog. Definitely a reasonable portion to split as an appetizer and still have room for an entree. We got the tomato and corn salad as a side, which was a nice palate cleanser. I got the bacon cheeseburger (sub a pretzel bun, which you can absolutely do) and my husband got the Van Helsing. Both were excellent. He got regular fries and I got sweet potato fries and a side salad, also fantastic. My meal was exactly what I wanted - a classically delicious cheeseburger (I removed the bacon and put it on my side salad, which I highly recommend). My husband's had perfectly cooked garlic cloves and a nice zest with the jalapeños. They also had a great tap list to go wash everything down! We left stuffed but not feeling like we were going to die. It was a wonderful experience for start to finish and we'll be back!

I got the crispy duck wings (and do not know why I didn't take a picture ) but they were very crispy and very good. They came with 2 sauces, which I did not try because they said they were a bit spicy and I don't like spicy, but they were plenty good on their own. I ordered the One Bad Pig with a side of sweet potato fries and of course had to get an extra side of tator tots because I love them. The burger was very good and juice, hard to eat because it's so big, but I managed to do it. The tots were crispy just like I like them and the fries were your typical sweet potato fries but very good. The service was attentive and good and it seemed to be a local crowd and was a nice vibe. It is off the beaten path so not too touristy but the locals know about it so it gets crowded. I highly recommend this place for a burger if you are wanting one!!

I ordered the Chicago Dog, the Detroit Dog, and a hand-squeezed lemonade because hydration is important when you're making serious life decisions like eating two hot dogs at once. And listen... Willy-Yums did NOT come to play. Both dogs were absolutely fantastic. Loaded with flavor, fresh, and put together like somebody behind that counter genuinely cares about the sacred art of the hot dog. The Chicago Dog was on point, the Detroit Dog had me questioning why I don't eat Detroit Dogs more often, and that hand-squeezed lemonade tasted like somebody personally apologized to every lemon before squeezing it. But as good as the food was, the service was even better. Friendly, welcoming, and exactly what you hope for when you stop at a hometown spot.
