As we were dining, the chef came out to our table and allowed us to sample their chicken wings. Who does that anymore? Maybe my grandma. And the wings were impeccable. We ordered one chicken and one steak wrap, both were prepared with marinated meat and includes pickles, tomato's, cucumbers And sauce. Nicely grilled in fresh baked large wraps (large portions). My husband called and he said over the phone steak shawarma plate but they gave us chicken instead, so probably just heard him wrong. My chicken skewer was flavorful, it's just that the pieces were super dry, I needed to drench them in the sauce even then I couldn't finish it because of how dry it was. My husband agrees that my chicken skewer was very dry compared to his chicken shawarma. The chicken shawarma plate wasn't dry and the meat was flavorful. I'd always wanted to try this restaurant because of the very positive reviews. The day finally came and my bestie and I decided to try it. There was a group of people waiting outside and we thought it was a line to get in but, when we entered the restaurant we were seated right away. I believe the people waiting outside was for to-go orders. We were seated by a very friendly young man and then we were given menus by a young woman who was very friendly too. I decided to try the Lamb Shank and my bestie the chicken wrap. We were given each a cup of a yummy hot spicy soup with ground meat, and spices that reminded me of chili beans but better. After the soup, our order arrived and right away noticed the portions are generous. The lamb shank was served underneath a bread dough that had been broiled so it had a yummy brown crust on top and the server opened it and revealed a beautiful shank of lamb which was falling off the bone underneath some yummy rice. A pickled salad of different vegetables was included with a tangy vinegar dressing which was too vinegary for my taste. The flavor of the lamb was just good. My bestie's chicken wrap looked delish and I think I will order that next time. The table next to us was enjoying the large platter of mixed meats that serves 2 which looked delicious too!
