What dressing do you put on the side salad that comes w entrees?

It’s an herb dressing. It’s similar to a ranch dressing but slightly different. We make it in house.

What are the wait times like for dinner on a Sunday?

Depends on the season, but it could take about 15 min to order and another 20 mi to get your order. Sundays are our busiest days, especially during breakfast and lunch hours.

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. There was salsa to add a bit of flavor, but it tasted that it was made in New York City (if you remember that commercial ;) ). The white toast was soft and buttery, and the potatoes were good. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. But I believe the service is excellent because they nicely packed all items and kept it organized. I definitely need to take my family to this restaurant. Since the one in Metrowest closed, this is the closest one to us. I am glad the food is still excellent and the coffee keeps you peppy. Atmosphere is that of a more elevated diner so we were curious as to what the food was going to taste like. My husband seemed to really enjoy the croissant donuts which seem like a specialty of theirs; I thought it was ok. The churro crunch french toast was solid, hard to say whether it tasted more like french toast or churro. The classic benny was also satisfying, and it was nice to be able to sub home fries with regular fries. All in all a good breakfast option if you want fast and friendly service and consistent breakfast food.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Food came out at a decent time Food: 5/5 The soursop juice was delicious- it didn't seem like bottled juice! The Picanha steak was perfectly cooked and the tostones were some of the best I've had in a while! The arepas burriada was not what I expected (I've only had circular handheld arepas) but was absolutely delicious! All the components went well together and the fried thicker cuts/chunks of arepas were delicious! Price: 4.5/5 For Orlando prices, it wasn't bad at all. Usually, work takes us in that Orlando area once a year. We'll definitely be back!

Let's start with the OJ, delicious fresh and sweet (not too sweet either). Chix and waffles was amazing the waffles a 11/10 light and fluffy with the butter was rich and added flavor, i would definitely recommend. The chicken was very flavorful and very well seasoned. To the left of the picture is the biscuits delicious too, comes with jam. The smash browns were goood very light and bite size dipped them in bbq and was delicious. Unfortunately, I believe my party of six may have caught them on a bad day. I can't remember the exact name of my meal however I do know that I got the scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon, and the hash brown (it's a meal). As well as the cinnamon roll biscuit on the side. The two things that I loved were the biscuit and the hash brown. Despite the biscuit being lukewarm, it was very fluffy and delicious so I'm going to give it points for that. The croquettes were potatoes with green onion. They were cooked to perfection perfectly crispy on the outside, but still fluffy and seasoned on the inside. They were a five out of five. The bacon tasted as if they cooked it 30 minutes prior and just let it sit under a warm warmer. The same goes for the eggs. I actually could not eat the eggs because they were cold and were the texture of the free eggs you get at a hotel breakfast. Three people out of my party of six had to send their food back because it was not hot. I will say staff was very nice about it but when you order food, it should be hot. The chai latte that I ordered. Was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were also very good. I did not order them but someone in my party did and of course I tasted them. The cinnamon roll biscuit was just OK. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. Again, the service was excellent. Everyone was very kind, but I can't say this is a restaurant that I HAD to visit again. Would I swing by if I was in the area possibly; probably just to get a biscuit. So overall, my experience wasn't that great but it wasn't terrible either.

It was really loud and there wasn't many soft surfaces to help absorb that sound. The location did appear to be clean. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the fried chicken benedict. Huge sprig of rosemary. Cayenne pepper (if it wasnt cayenne then idk what it was but thats what it tasted like) . Hollandaise was like glue. Maybe it was supposed to be gravy? Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.

A giant bun section open for the perusing, a wide open dining room with tranquil murals all over the wall. This is a good place to spend some time at and eat. Service is very friendly. At peak time of day, the buns always refill super fast. The dim sum orders took some time to make their way out to our table, but that's ok. I think this place does an insane amount of take-out business. Food was dynamite. Just look at those buns. Adorned with plenty of toppings that pack a wallop of flavor. Always moist and fluffy and the perfect levels of sweet and/or savory. One could make a breakfast, lunch, and dinner out of this section alone. The dim sum, though, that's what left the biggest impact on me. Dim sum places, I feel like, are trying to capitalize on the popularity and offer smaller and smaller portions. Small dumplings, poorly-filled buns, smaller meat-to-filler ratios, etc. Not Bakery 1908, though. They charge premium prices for them, but what you get are huge, plump, properly filled, and packed with flavor. Just wow. Overall, this is a great place. A very unique and important addition to the Orlando food landscape. I'll keep coming back as needed.
