This is a small restaurant in the Atlanta airport. I chose this one because it was close to my gate. The food was okay. I had the chicken fingers and they were flat. It was so odd. They tasted okay. Service, timing was not like it used to be to be back on 2022-23 manager and the bartender that was there was awesome

Had an hour till my flight boarded, put in an order, as the sign said "order here before having a seat" (nothing about paying first), then sat down. Bartender asked what table I was going to sit at, gave her the number and told her I would probably have 2 drinks before I had to leave. About 30 mins later, bartender called me up to pay for my first drink that I still haven't gotten and the cheesecake I ordered. Went up, said I wanted to keep it open, and she started to argue that I never gave her a card to start a tab, how would I leave it open if I didn't start it. My response was that at restaurants, we order, eat, then pay at the end. Didn't realize there were bar rules and not restaurant rules since I was ordering food. Then I go to open my cheesecake to have something sweet, and it is frozen solid, not edible in the least. So that was a waste. If I would have known, I would not have ordered it. The service here was HORRIBLE. The waitress (blonde wig) ignored us from the start, mocked my son when he pointed out a "seat yourself" sign, and snapped when we asked for menus since the QR codes didn't work. She even told me I could leave if I was "in a hurry," loud enough that another guest started recording her behavior. We weren't rude at all and were simply trying to order, so we're not sure why she was so nasty. The only explanation we can think of is discrimination, which made the entire experience feel personal and deeply uncomfortable. read more

Got a burger & asked for extra crispy bacon, which I got. It was a decent & freshly made burger, especially for the price, & honestly, the price was prob on par w/fast food. We actually had a good experience here at Sojourner's. It would become the best part of our experience of our stay at the terminal considering that our flight was delayed 4 hours, then cancelled, and then we had to wait until 2am for them to send us another plane that got us home to Houston at 4am... but that's not Sojourner's fault =P We stopped in during our delay and we each sat down along the wall where the soft bench seats were located in the nonsmoking section. We wished they had more outlets to plug in our laptops, but overall it was very comfortable and the service was very attentive. We started with the local brew, and then had an oyster basket to munch on. The fried oysters were actually pretty hearty and very tasty and they were served with potato circle wedges or something. We also had the burger and the shrimp poboy. My colleague liked his burger, but honestly... I've had better poboys. The bread was just too much... although there was a sufficient amount of shrimp on it. Overall the food was okay, but considering it was the airport, it wasn't bad. If I have to fly back to ATL, I wouldn't mind coming here again. read more

Our connecting flight to Costa Rica was in Atlanta. We were cutting it a bit close with currency exchange and going through Customs, so we jumped in the Sojourner's line. Luckily, they had a decent vegetarian option: grilled veggie wrap. The friendly cashier gave us the option for fried okra as our side and my mouth instantly watered. The efficient service was so quick that we had time to eat at our gate. The grilled veggie wrap was tasty and decently sized, but the fried green tomatoes and fried okra were winners. Both dipping sauces added a creamy and cool balance to the fried vegetables. This was a way better option than the usual chain restaurant options found at airports. read more

Not bad for an airport cafe. Yes, they have plastic silverware and plates, which is not environmentally friendly, but I'm sure it cuts down on how many staff are needed each shift. Yes, they had limited menu items, but they're very accommodating for someone that doesn't eat meat and being able to switch items. I ended up having the French Toast and home fries. I can't say there was anything spectacular about the French Toast, but it was good. The home fries were different from others I have had and quite good. We felt the service was great. They had one server working seated area and a very friendly gentleman working the bar. I was surprised at how busy he was mixing drinks at 8:30 am on a Tuesday. Overall, much better than the options in the concourse E food court and a place we would come back to if we were in the area. read more

The only nice thing about this place is being able to smoke and drink at the same time. They dont have blenders so all the cocktails are on the rocks. It took quite a while for me to order my drink, so i only got to have one before my plane had to leave. Lastly, I asked the waiter what he thought of a specific drink (Georgia Peach) and he said "oh thats too sweet, its too much of a girly drink".. really?? Very poor experience here today. Ordered the Cobb salad and unsweetened iced tea. Tea came sweet though they quickly replaced it. After about 30 minutes I asked if the salad would be coming out soon. Was informed "everybody's " food would be coming out soon. Another 10 minutes and I ask to just pay for the tea as I needed to get to my gate for my flight. Was told the salad was ready and they had packed it to go. Glad I checked the dressing as they gave me vinaigrette when I had ordered blue cheese. Once I was finally able to eat on the plane as I had just made boarding I found the fried okra soggy and the bacon was missed. Airport eating establishments need to be able to get food out quickly. Rude, rude and more rude. After sitting for approximately 15 mins ask server lasheilya if we could please have a drink. She yelled and said sit down! After another 15 mins we went to front counter order 2 drinks. The waitress then literary drop the drinks on table and aggressively drop ash trays on table and threw ash trays on other tables. Then she started clean the lounge kicking chairs to table (ranting & raving). This lounge became very hostile and we where feeling uncomfortable. I had a short layover from Boston to Dallas this fall and was itching to smoke a cigarette and relax from all the crowding and pushing and moving. I walked past this place and realized not only was my gate just down the hall, but you could smoke indoors! I went in, sat down with a heiniken and a cigarette and my day improved significantly! For about 7 dollars (tip included) I erased all the bad parts about the person next to me snoring for hours. It's tight in here, you will probably have to share a table, which is cool, cause I struck up a conversation with a nice dude from NC, and shared lighters with other smokers. The food is a little slow, but you can get it to go. They have a menu that involves alot of foods that you wouldn't want the smell of circulating in the plane air for hours, so I would stick with fries or toast or something like that. One lady taking orders as slow as she can, while looking passed you, people watching. I hand her my card for payment, reach out for it back and she places it on the counter instead of handing it back to me. Then she walks as slow as humanly possible to the back room to what I assume is hand deliver the order. After 3 minutes she slowly saunters back as the line has tripled in length. People are audibly annoyed. Many people start giving up on eating or getting coffee and begin walking to their gates. Others join the line unaware that they will never make it to the front. We're expected to get to the airport 2 hrs early to ensure we make our flight. If by chance you really want to eat at this random cafe, you need to get to the airport 3 hrs before your flight departure. Tremendously rude! An employee named Rosalie asked my girlfriend, presumably because she was the only black patron, to leave "because it was busy," just a few minutes after she sat down. We were here early in the morning and wanted a sit down breakfast as opposed to the fast food options. We found ourselves here since it was literally right next to our gate and we had a specific window of time to eat before boarding. The waitress was great and checked with us about how much time we had as we sat down so she could serve us accordingly. The food is overpriced, but then so is all the food served at the airport. My bf had oatmeal and I had a veggie omelet. The food was hot, the service was good and our tummys were happy. Not a bad breakfast option. read more
