Their long hours (early morning until 2am) mean there are a couple of shifts of staff per day, but I most often find Jodie behind the bar, and she's one of the nicest bartenders in town. Lighthearted and well-spoken, she can chat with anyone about almost anything, and she manages the crowd well. She's a good egg who's seen it all, but seems to treat every day like it's possible to get through without any problems. There's no food for sale here, but they're happy to have you bring or order in anything you like, and you'll often see people at the bar eating meals from the many local restaurants. There are 8 TV's mounted around the place (plenty for its size), so you can watch a game if you like, and the digital jukebox is easy to manage from an app on your phone. Plus, they've got solid, reliable WiFi, in case you're sick of sitting in Starbucks. It was disappointing, especially considering how much we have enjoyed coming to this bar over the years. We understand that everyone can have a bad day, but the way we were treated left a lasting impression. We genuinely enjoy The Drawing Room and appreciate the staff members who make it a welcoming place. However, we will be avoiding visits when Ashley is there because of this experience.
