Oh my god this place is delicious! We ordered a bunch of food for my partner's birthday, and woah were we satisfied! I am a vegan and I ordered the spicy popcorn cauliflower taco, seitan bbq taco, and the mex big chop salad. I have eaten a lot of seitan and never in my life have I had seitan that realistic to meat! I seriously had to ask my partner several times "you're sure this isn't real meat, right?" Oh my god it was SO GOOD!! The guacamole we ordered was amazing and the chips were really great, too. My partner ordered the seitan quesadilla, the seitan bbq taco, and sweet potato & black bean taco. He inhaled it to say the least lol. Also, as I picked up our order everyone was so nice and kind and even went as far as to wipe the condensation off of my to-go margarita bottle because I didn't have enough hands to hold it and had to carry it in my purse :) Cannot rave about this place enough! Perfect for vegans and vegetarians, I can only imagine the regular meat tacos are amazing, too! We will definitely be back again!! read more

Everything is good! Want a salad? Then you can't go wrong as they're big, offer good variety of ingredients, are fresh & filling. Want to try a few tacos? Order a few different single tacos and try a variety. Their chips are made from yummy fresh made tortillas your break apart that have some delicious seasoning on them. The beans and salsa served along with the chips are delicious. Everyone from our kids to our grandparents love this place. They also make some amazing margaritas. And if you have an event, give them a call and see if can get one of their private rooms or an area. We had a section of the bar area for one and food provided for an event and the service and process to get it set up was easy and everyone had a great time. SOL did a great job converting outdoor space to dining room tables. I had a great evening. My two dining companions had various margaritas from the menu. I had the mescal drink, which was excellent, had great flavor, and had a chili-lime rim. For food, I tried both the highly recommended braised beef tacos and the duck tacos. The braised beef was amazing - great flavor and presentation. The duck was a leg of duck which ended up making three tacos. I preferred the flavor of the braised beef. Unfortunately, (and for future readers, this was during the COVID-19 epidemic, which greatly affected restaurants), the service really suffered. There were long wait times when our server disappeared and we waited for a substantial period of time to both order and receive our food (and then later our bill). read more

Service- Our server was Greg and he was so polite to us the whole time. He called us by name (always a plus), he joked with us, and built some great rapport. I was a bit indecisive on what to order and everything he suggested was GREAT. Food- Everything was so wonderfully delicious, completely different in taste, and the mixture of spices was spot on. I got the steak tacos and was blown away at the spices, almost tasted like pesto and melted cheese... something I typically find on chicken tacos. It fit wonderfully with the steak taco. It was unique, flavorful, and left a lasting impression Drinks- Do yourself a favor and order the blended MANGO MARGARITA!!! I usually shy away from these drinks. Usually too sweet, or too bitter for me but our server suggested it. It was smooth, not overly sweet but you could taste the fresh mango with every sip. It also included an in-house dried mango with spices on it. It gave you a sweet and savory taste in every bite. Bonus for this place: The artwork chosen was fun, pleasing to the eye, and tasteful. We've eaten here twice. The first time was when we first moved here in April of 2018 and celebrated our engagement with an afternoon drink and small plates. It was decent enough for a dinner try. The second time was in December and since the joint was busy we sat at the bar. I wanted tortilla soup which was mediocre and Doris had a Mexican plate that was tasteless. Even as simple as chips and salsa was disappointing. But the reason we shall not return is the Bar tender seemed more interested in washing the glasses instead of serving us a drink or taking our order. Went here for my first time. Wasn't very impressed. The salsa was very sweet and not spicy at all. My boyfriend didn't like the rice or beans either. The tacos we got were mediocre. The drink was okay I got the cucumber jalapeño drink which was supposed to be one of the best but didn't taste like there was an alcohol in it. Had no idea what to expect when I had SOL delivered last week. Luckily, the food was incredible, the portions were generous, and I walked away with a new favorite restaurant (that I will surely visit in-person when I get the chance). The only suggestion I will part with: while I loved the food, the heavy plastic packaging it came in was a little disappointing. I would love to see SOL switch to something more environmentally friendly. Perhaps something compostable! I used to go to Sol when i lived in Newport Beach... the watermelon margaritas are just as good in Denver! Everything I've had has been great. It's a bit of a cougar bar... the real housewives of cherry creek come out around 5 for their Rambauer, but overall it's a fun place with solid margs. read more

Was a bit hesitant to stay after the initial impression made by a girl that was up front with the hostess, but once we were seated and Thomas came by, he totally turned the whole experience around and we decided to stay. He was super funny and amazing throughout our entire date, and the food was actually pretty great as well. Will definitely be back, and hopefully, we will get Thomas and/or the new waiter that was there today as well. They both had amazing customer service, and I'm big on that when factoring in where I take my business. I wish I'd gotten the new waiters name as well, but both him and Thomas were great! We stopped in here before heading to the airport for margaritas. Atmosphere: I love LOVE the open concept that the denver restaurants have downtown with their giant windows that open. A late summer breeze floated through the whole restaurant and almost gave it an ocean vibe. The decor was immaculate, very modern chic with warm colors. The bathrooms were fairly clean and private, the stall doors went all the way to the floor, you felt like you had a whole new level of privacy in a public restroom. Service: We were greeted immediately at the door with a smile and a nod in the direction of the bar when we said we were there just for drinks. Our bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us menus even though we said we were there for happy hour drinks, but she knew what she was doing-sucked us right in. Food: We ended up ordering the watermelon and beet salad, and I have to say it was amazing. They served lime, sea salt and this AMAZING spicy chile de arbol sauce to add to your salad. I could have drank that sauce. The salad was a pure balance of perfection MINUS one beet being severely under-cooked (swore I was going to break a tooth). The classic house margaritas were fantastic. The decor and ambiance of this restaurant are AWESOME. I dined in for lunch on a warm May Day; they had the windows open and the restaurant was hopping. We were quickly greeted by our friendly server. We ordered 2 appetizers - guacamole and roasted corn. Both were amazing! The roasted corn was unique and delicious. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. For entrees, my boyfriend chose the shrimp tacos and I chose the big chop salad. He loved his tacos, and thought they were fresh! My salad was huge (definitely enough for two to share), but it was COVERED in a strong, unappealing dressing. I suffered through a few bites, and then decided I just couldn't eat the salad with that dressing. Luckily, the waitress offered to bring me a dressing-free salad. I took her up on the offer, and I was much more satisfied. Everything except my salad was awesome. I would love to return to this spot! Excellent lunch! I have finally succeeded in going to a new restaurant. I tell you, once you have a kid, hauling yourself to a new place can be very difficult. On a rare day that I had off AND no parental responsibilities, I met a couple friends here for lunch. I enjoyed TWO skinny margaritas that were delicious. My friends ordered the ceviche to start with vegetable chips that were darn tasty. I enjoyed both the beet and sweet potato versions and they're made in house. Solid. For lunch, I decided to go with the two specialty taco plate and chose the agave chile shrimp and the duck carnitas. I opted for the spicy slaw as my side. Both tacos were delicious! The duck actually comes on the bone and you can make your own taco. The portions are large and you won't walk away hungry. My friends ordered tacos (one had the Buffalo) and the other had the skinny burrito with shrimp and goat cheese. Both loved their entrees as well. I have to agree it's on the pricey side, but it's Cherry Creek and delicious food so I'd definitely return. P.S. Has anyone else completely missed their front door?? I get that it's big but shouldn't it be marked somehow?? I felt like an idiot. P.P.S. There's no sign for their bathrooms either! Although SOL has a really great ambiance and we had a personable, attentive server, we were left feeling unimpressed. The food was way overpriced relative to the quality and quantity. Specifically, we felt the guac lacked flavor, the tacos were cold and small, and the fajita chicken was over seasoned and dry. The drinks were also a little pricey and seemed diluted. I don't think we'd go again when there are plenty of other Mexican options in Denver. read more
