I felt I should share some information regarding MalliTX because I know how hard it is to find someone to give you both a GREAT color and cut. Christina is AMAZING! If you want a fabulous haircut and/or color from an experienced professional with a fun personality, go see her at MalliTX. I've lived in the SugarLand/Houston area my entire life, and I've been to see quite a few hairstylists. I have never felt as beautiful or excited about my hair as I do when I leave this salon. In the past I normally would get foil highlights, which are nice, but I'm super ecstatic that I have been introduced to BALAYAGE since meeting Christina. I love the natural look that I get; I'm always receiving compliments from people about how natural my hair looks (they ask me if it is naturally colored, but I tell them about the cool coloring technique that is used to make it look that way). Whats even better is that I do not have to go to the salon as often because the color grows out nicely, its not necessary to go but every 2-3 months (I wait closer to 3 months). You know how sometimes you go see someone to color your hair and someone else to cut it because you don't like how the colorist cuts? Well, Christina knows how to do BOTH exceptionally well. I've had long hair for a few years, but I just got tired of it, so I decided to cut it into an inverted lob (see profile picture). I LOVE IT!!! I know its not an easy cut because I tried to get one about 4 years ago, but it was awful- I decided to grow my hair long at that point. It was shaped funny and I don't think the stylist really knew how to cut it (after a couple tries, I never saw her again). I decided to try the style again because I love the look, it just takes the right person to cut it, and I knew Christina knows her stuff. It came out looking great-exactly what I was looking for. I've never received so many compliments, and I haven't felt this excited about my hair in a very long time. If you need to find a new stylist that is experienced, fun, with a clean space, go see Christina. You will not regret it at all! I promise!

What really stood out was how well she listened and translated the inspiration into something that actually works for my face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle. I got to the appointment 10 minutes early and she took me right away. I told her exactly what i wanted and even pointed to my chest bone to where i wanted the length and the face framing pieced the shortest piece at my clavicle. She cut my hair sooo fast in like 15 min and proceeded to tell me that she needed to shampoo someone elses hair. After about 6-7 minutes she blow dried my hair and immediately i knew it was WAY TO SHORT. pretty much all of my hair is at my clavicle. After blowdrying she told me she needed to recheck foils for the same other person. When she came back again 5 min later cut some layers. She showed me the back and i was like oh its cute but really short. Instead of acknowledging me she was like so cute for summer. At this point she left super quick again for other client while another person curled my hair. NOW- i dont mind have to check foil etc but i felt like she was very rushed to go to this other client even though i had an appointment...then the hair cut itself isnt bad but its not what i wanted. I didnt feel like complaining anymore because my hair will grow back. But for the price i expect who i book to take more than 20-25 min cutting my hair.
