I love their pajamas and bras but I am having trouble with the quality. 4 out of 5 pajamas and robe I purchased have holes and need to be sewn. Two were found after I got home from the store. I didn't take them back knowing they did not have more in my size. After a few washes the our two now have holes on the seam. Frustrated I have to take them to the alteration lady to fix them properly. Having to spend more money and Soma is more expensive than Victoria's Secret. Not sure if I will buy anything else from Soma! Sad. read more

When I travel to the San Diego area (from Idaho) I visit Soma Intimates in Carlsbad. I bought a few things this last November (2018). Everyone is always very helpfaul and friendly. If that don't have a size they always will order it for me and shipping to my home is always free. I have one complaint. I purchased about 4-5 pair of the invisible seam panties. I don't like them at all. I put a pair in with my leggings and even though they have the silicone to keep them in place they still seem to bunch up. Looked unflattering to say the least. I'll still shop at Soma for certain things but never will buy panties there again. read more

One star because the staff was friendly and helpful, however the wires came out of the bra after a gentle hand wash. It happened to both bras I bought. I really wish for the price, the product would be made of better quality. Never again! read more

Went into Soma today the Carlsbad store to make a return and experienced the most awful salesperson. I have never made a complaint before to a corporate office but I felt compelled to do so today. Trouble is I do like the Soma products but I will never go back to that store again. read more

Haven't had great experiences here. Sizes vary tremendously by product, not consistent. Lousy return policy - 60 days, after that no exchange or store credit. read more

I went to Soma today for the very first time. I have never heard if them till I saw a commercial that said you can save $10 so I checked out the website and then decided to see if there was one near me....well there isn't, I had to drive 40minutes to Carlsbad but either way I went and LOVED it! As soon as my friends and I walked in the door we were happily greeted and taken very well care of by Tracy. She walked us through the store and showed us what was on sale, advertised, and what each bra was specified for and then measured each of us and showed us to our own dressing rooms. Then she went to get us some bras according to what we said we were looking for individually and what she thought would look great on us according to our figures. She did an awesome job and was all over it. She kept the bras coming! Let's just say that my friends and I walked out with at least two bras a piece with smiles on our faces. I will be going back. I went to this location Dec 30 in the late afternoon. When I got there I looked for a sales person. I finally got the attention of 1 of the 2-3 sales people working. I told her that I needed to be fitted for the correct size... She was extremely put out by me telling her this. She reluctantly measured me and told me my size and went and pulled 4 different bras for me to try. She told me her name was Tracy and she would be back... I tried on all 4 bras and waited... And waited... I went back out and could not get her attention! Another sales person can by and asked if I needed help... I told her I needed a different size and she was very nice and went searching for the size I requested. She was in the middle of helping another customer and still helped me at the same time... Her name was Kay. Tracy was ringing up another customer and couldn't be bothered with helping me! I went back in and tried on the other size plus a couple of more that Kay recommended for me. After Kay told me she would be back to check on me. I finished with the bras I brought in and waited to try a different size in a style I was told ran large. I waited and waited and waited! Finally I put my shirt back on over the wrong size bra and went out looking for Tracy or Kay. Both were ringing up customers and I finally saw a third sales person and she asked if I needed help... Meanwhile Tracy was tidying up the front desk... I couldn't get her attention to save my life! She really seemed like she did not want to be there at all! The 3rd girl Mara was very helpful and walked me back to the fitting room. She was helping a couple other customers as well as Kay. I never saw Tracy back by the fitting rooms again. She was at the front desk the whole time looking as busy as she could to what seemed like trying to seem busy so she wouldn't have to help any customers. Mara was very helpful and tried to find my size in the only style that seemed to fit me. She couldn't find any more in my size so I had 1 bra that fit. Mara was nice enough to tell me she could order them online and they would be sent at no charge. Both colors... Tan and black both said they were not available online! Really? The 2 most popular colors... Mara said she would call another store to see if they had them... Then she called a different store and found them and now I am waiting for them to show up... Meanwhile the original size Tracy said I was... Seems too big. Back to the drawing board! read more

This is my wife's review of this location I was in the Carlsbad, Ca store yesterday afternoon. There were 3 sales women working that I saw, two at the register & one on the floor. There were only three other customers in the store at the time (two that appeared to be together at the register, and one in the dressing room). I walked through looking at the bras, as I was looking for something specifically . The sales women on the floor asked if she could help me, and I told her that I was looking first and I would let her know when I needed help finding my size. About two minutes later, I asked her if I could try the two bras they carried in the store in my size, and she said she would be right with me. Meanwhile, there was still two sales women chatting at the counter. I waited, and looked around at pjs on sale. At least ten minutes later, one of the sales women from the counter had now joined the efforts to help the women that had now emerged from the dressing room while the other one at the counter contined to chat....and I am continuing to be ignored. I decided to dig through the drawers for my size myself, no one noticed this...I didn't find my size though surely it was there but I am not the expert for the store like the three sale people who refused to assist me. So after twenty or twenty-five minutes of futile attempt to get help or find them myself, I left with nothing and went directly across the way to VS! Absurd! I have shopped in this store multiple times, and never seen such rude behavior. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I walked in to this store and was not greeted for at least ten minutes. There were a few associates behind the counter chatting not paying attention. The way the store looks is absolutely appalling. Messy, unorganized, looks like a tornado hit it. After walking around the store for ten minutes someone finally came up to me and quote redly asked if I needed something. I was treated like I wasn't good enough to be in the store to begin with. Quite shocking actually. I saw they were paying attention to people with piles of things but not to anyone else who walked in. If they work on commission that seems like that's all they care about. Too bad..love the product. But I'll stick to shopping in escondido, at least they treat me like an actual customer read more

Bra shopping for me a bit like purchasing military equipment, when you are over-blessed in that arena it's really more about under-wires and support, not leaping effortlessly through the streets of Paris like they do in the Victoria's Secret commercials. I just didn't have the energy to go to Nordstrom, and Soma was right here in the neighborhood, there were some great coupons and sales, so I thought I'd give it a go. I've never shopped at Soma before, and the fact that they are associated with the Chico's parent family was not a positive for me, but I am so glad I gave Soma a try. The customer service I received from Julia, the sales associate that assisted me, and her manager, Melissa, was unparalleled. Nobody could have done it better. They seemed busy, all the dressing rooms were full so it was nice to know that there were others spending their Saturday night in a similar manner. Nonetheless, you wouldn't have known there were any other customers there by they way they treated me and the manner in which I witnessed them treat others. Julia was very very patient and incredibly responsive, as was Melissa. The style that fit the best happened to be on clearance so what I ended up paying for a bag filled with undergarments of necessity (which looked nothing like military hardware) was less than what I would have paid for two brassieres elsewhere. Incredible customer service, well priced products of quality and beauty, why go anywhere else? read more
