Regular customer over many years. Last couple of togo orders have contained burnt tortillas on burros and tortillas are extremely hard to cut based on their consistency. Tacos were burnt and cheese is a hit and miss. Last order had 3 types of burros and they were not labeled so I had to unwrap them to see what was what. Been wanting to try this place for some time. Was pleasantly surprised they were so busy. But hey, that is a good sign. When we ordered my wife said you get chips and salsa, cool! So I asked for the hot salsa. It and the chips were delicious. The chips are thin and crispy. The salsa, very tasty and had some good heat. I had the Rod Burro, the wife had just a single chicken enchilada. As busy as they were our food was out in no time at all. And let me tell you, it was HOT. Temperature wise! Tasted really fresh, I really liked mine. The wife on the other hand said her enchilada was kind of bland. She said she will be ordering something different next time. I would order what I had again for sure. But next time I need to try something else on the menu, because there are a few other menu items I want to give a go. I'll have to ask next time if they have some extra jalapeños to throw on for me. I saw some nachos come out with some on them so I should be golden. Someburros Did takeout on National Chili Day where Someburros celebrated by having $3.00 Red or Green Chili Burros. We ordered 4 - Green Chili Burros and 2 - Red Chili Burros. So this was our dinner, they don't look real large, but they are filling, we had one Burro each for dinner. Actually refrigerated the others and snacked on the others later in the week, also like eating them cold which I love when the green chili sauce gets absorbed in the tortilla. Personally, these are gringo type Mexican food, not a bad price but the "berto" burritos still are a favorite. read more

Had take out food, it was ok. Carne asada was overcooked and a little crunchy. You all know what I'm talking about. Beans and rice was good. The wet burrito had a different kind of sauce on it. Been coming here for years. Started back when I worked close by and it was perfect for lunch as they are quick, but the food doesn't taste "quick" if you know what I mean. everything tastes fresh and delicious. Some of my favorites are the veggie burro (try it as a chimichanga), the original taco salad, or pollo fundido. The chips and salsa are just ok, but the churros are delish! I want to thank the entire team at Somburros at their location in Scottsdale on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd for their outstanding friendly customer service. We enjoy Someburros usually 4-5 times a month. Dine-in and take-away, every visit has always been a great experience. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. We have always been greeted by smiling welcoming team members. I always get the bacon breakfast burrito... it's your typical- with potato and cheese. Their salsa is really delicious and has a kick to it. The best part is that you can get your breakfast burrito from a drive thru so when you want to be in your pjs and want breakfast you can stay in your car. I do love their food, but I continually find bits of bacon or ham in my breakfast items, specifically the verde scramble items like the plate and burro. I am a vegetarian but I get that I can't escape the by products and cross contamination, so I'm okay with it being cooked on the same surface and it being made with lard, but I don't want to see it or feel it when I eat. The people are very nice and they offer vegan options, so I am just surprised that every time I order from here, there is little things of bacon on everything. read more

Amazing food! We love the shredded beef tacos they are my favorite! The Baja sauce is to die for! Amazing service either delivered, or in the store and we used them for catering, we picked up our own food, was safely packed for my son's wedding, everyone ate all of the refried beans and loved the food. The caterer was busy, but she went out of her way to guide us, so very nice! Great prices for all we had. Management treats you like family, conscientious, friendly. This place has been on my hit list for awhile now. I don't get over to North Scottsdale that often but was in the neighborhood and grabbed the opportunity to finally give them a try. Not disappointed at all. If. You've lived in Phoenix for any amount of time, there is a certain "type" or style of Mexican food we've all become accustom to, ala Carlos O'Brien's, Macayos, Mi Familia, etc. I would put Someburros in with that group and say the execution is fantastic. I had the Someburros Bowl with carne asada, rice and beans. Perfect, excellent flavor and a very generous portion size. Princess had tamales with rice and beans. She's a little harder to please and was very satisfied with the meal (thanks Team!) Love the fountain drink area, wide array of choices and very clean. Looks like they do lots of specials as well as support the neighborhood. The Resturant was spotless, including the bathroom. I found the counter help polite and friendly. Food came out fast and with a good presentation. I've said it before, fast food businesses are hard to run, but this one is hitting on all cylinders. Was craving cheese enchiladas and my usual go to for those are Blanco Tacos + Tequila. Ordered two cheese enchiladas and a churro to go with it. The red sauce and tacos shells were spot on, where I felt the enchiladas fell short was the cheese. The inside cheese wasn't properly melted, I'm going to call it "sweated". When you're a cheese fan, you look forward to the oooey gooie center and these just did not deliver. I'd definitely either stick with the Pollo Fundido or get something else entirely. Always a great experience at Someburros. We typically order through the drive through, but have also used delivery services. The food is fantastic and affordable. By far the best Mexican food for the money. You can get AMAZING food here and sooooo much more of it for less than what you would pay at Taco Bell. was excited to give this restaurant a try after hearing good things about it, however I'm not sure I'll be back. We were at the Scottsdale location and upon arrival there was a note that the fountain drink system was down. We proceeded to ordering and then waited 30 minutes for our order. During that 30 minutes the tables were all dirty, serval hadn't been bust and still had food on them, and the workers were sitting around talking about how they wanted to be off because they had kids in school tomorrow. Once we got our food my cheese enchilad was cold in the middle, cheese not even melted. My sons breakfast burrito was also not cooked all the way, as his cheese too was not melted. I love Someburro's food, it's the closet to homemade. I've been to several of their locations throughout the valley. This location's food is consistently as good as most of the other locations. I went in and immediately recognized the lady at the counter from my previous visits to the Uptown location. Abbey is running this location now, she and her crew are doing an amazing job!! My last visit to the Uptown location was very disappointing. I will be frequenting this location from now on instead. First visit. Hopeful based on reviews. Neither of us liked our meal especially my husband who had the carne asada burrito which had almost no carne asada but was filled with beans. The ice dispenser was out. We let them know. They never filled it the entire 45 minutes we were in the dining room despite multiple diners asking for ice. Both the Guava juice dispenser and the Horchata dispenser were empty. I can't fathom how this place stays in business let alone has good reviews. read more

I contacted their catering people via the website and immediately heard back from Mallory Brewer, their Catering Director. She was extremely helpful, very fast, and was able to make last minute changes for me very quickly. She was a complete joy to work with. The day of the party, Riann delivered the HUGE order by herself, and she was so fast and efficient, I thought she had a group of people helping her. But no, it was only her! She was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh, and we received rave reviews for all of our guests. Our compliments to the chefs! We come here regularly, but this time it was different. My wife ordered a bean tostada a dish she regularly enjoys. It arrived and looked hastily prepared with 50% less ingredients. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff who took the dish and pretended to do something but seemed more preoccupied, talking, and goofing around with each other. we sat here, dumbfounded for 15 minutes, In the end, the manager did return our money remade the dish correctly, and apologized. read more

I've been here about three times now and forgot to leave a review. I love the fact that there's a drive through but restaurant quality Mexican food and they offer indoor dining. The employees are always very friendly the service is quick and always hot and fresh by the time I still get it home. I recommend the pollo fundido it's delicious! The cheese crisps are huge and delicious the perfect amount to feed my two kids. They even offer to go margaritas which I haven't tried but will never time. read more

Someburros came up in my DoorDash app and looked good so i thought I'd give it a try. I ordered my lunch at 10:30am for a noon delivery. My first dasher left sho after 12pm because it wasn't ready, when my second dasher arrived at 12:20pm it suddenly changed from order being picked up to preparing your order. Finally about 12:37pm DoorDash cancelled my order because it still wasn't ready. I was left starving with no lunch. They could have the best food in town but I'll never know because I refuse to ever g there. So frustrating. read more
