Cute cafe. My daughter and I wanted something healthy and quick to eat while we ran errands. The staff were pleasant. The cafe was clean. No crumbs on the table or floor. We ate outside enjoying the beautiful weather. The tables outside is a little close to the parked cars and it's along the entrance driveway which is only one way in and out. Two cars will not be able to use the same path. Besides that, I enjoyed my walnut pesto Penni chicken sandwich with a Cesar salad. My daughter had an avocado turkey sandwich, I think. Such a stark visit from my first time. I ordered an iced latte l and it tasted nothing like coffee. As a matter of fact it was a strange consistency, like thick. I have to say, post-covid and after insane inflation (especially on food and beverage), Something Healthy is actually now a pretty reasonable lunch spot. In a world where a fast food value meal is now $11+, getting a $12 (after tax) salad sandwich combo is a pretty good deal. A similar meal at Panera is now $15 for something that was frozen with tiny portions. At least at Something Healthy you're getting something...heathly-ish (if you stay away from the chips). Tried this spot out of a whim for looking for vegan spots. My boyfriend and I were Instantly greeted with hospitality from the owner. He and the chef made sure we understood the menu and listened to our accommodations for our meals. I've had a takeout order from here a few times and dined in once. The very first time my panini was delicious and crispy, and every time after that it wasn't. The salads also aren't great, and I see a lot of old, wilted greens being used. Food is prepared pretty quick but their hours are short. I really really enjoyed my first visit here. I got the pesto chicken panini with spinach and a side of tomato soup. The pesto was tasty and the chicken was good. I also tried the Italian sandwich and it was delish as well. The Cesar salad complimented my sandwich and the dressing is excellent. This is a very nice option for lunch near where I work. They have lemonades and teas, which I always add to my meal. I also usually get a refill to go, which potentially allows me to have 2 flavors! These are the protein combinations that I like, which I prefer to get as wraps: 1) Walnut Pesto with Vegan Chicken (completely vegan option, based upon discussion today). 2) Rosemary with Seared Ahi Tuna. 3) Pesto with either Turkey or Chicken. 4) Italiano with Tri-Tip. I also upgrade side to Coconut Curry soup. This is the spiciest option, but I think that can sometimes be good. Unless specified otherwise, I usually request mixed fruit as the side (instead of chips). So, I recommend this as an option for others! read more

I always try to support local businesses, and this was a wonderful choice. I already cannot wait to come back. I stopped in and placed a To go order. I ordered the Cobb salad, substituting the tomato with corn, and it was absolutely delicious! It came with an amazing mustard vinaigrette. I also ordered a Southwest Chicken salad for someone else in my household, and they also enjoyed it. You can get each entree or salad with a side of chips, fruit or soup for an upgrade charge.
