    Variety of Pastelitos

My first time trying Pastelitos. I caught this food truck at the Siesta Key Crystal Classic. I tried: Al pastor, bacon/corn/mozz, chistorrso and chicken. Everything was so good. I need to find Pastelitos near me

Great Food truck experience! We took a drove out to Clermont to check out Son Pastelitos out. They had and area for food truck out and we were able to wander around and check them all out. The food trucks where this one goes were set up about a half a block from the lake/trail so we were able to walk down and find a picnic bench to enjoy our food with a great environment. They serve small empanada pockets in multiple different flavors. Fortunately they offered a deal on 3 SLS my wife and I both ordered 3 different ones each and we camped each others. Lots of flavors that most would like. We tried the Bacon/Corn/Mozzarella, Pizza, Ham, Chicken, Beef, & Reese's - yes that last one is a peanut butter cup in a empanada......tasty top off to the meal. Check this place out. Really good. I could have definitely enjoyed larger pockets, but they were very good.

Yummmy!! These pastelitos were alll delicious i got 6 different ones My fav were the chicken and the guava with cheese The dough is flavorful, crispy on the outer edges and filled with goodness inside. The only thing i would say is the pizza i was unaware it had pepperoni because it doesn't specifically say pepperoni pizza on the menu just pizza . Assuming it was a cheese pizza i ordered it till i bit into it realizing it had pepperoni. I would change the wording and put pepperoni pizza for those who don't eat pork/red meats etc. Other than that i loved everything OOO and the sauce that comes with the pastelitos is delicious!!!! Would definitely visit again!

Was fortunate enough to try Son Pastelitos at the Sanford Food Truck Fiesta and I thought they were great! One of my favorite trucks at the event and only one I ate at twice while there. Tried three different pastries and they were all very tasty. Each pastelito is $3.50 and they have a huge selection to choose from. I'm excited to go back and try more flavors!

And put a whole Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in literally anything, pack it with even more chocolate, and I'll eat the heck out of it.

Hands down the star of the show was the shrimp dish, perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best we've had in a while. We ended up ordering a second round just to enjoy it a little longer. Service was friendly and attentive the whole time, which made the experience even better. Monica was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, our interaction with Mary was the complete opposite. She was rude and unaccommodating, which made our visit unpleasant. After ordering a few drinks, we decided to patronize another business. As a group of returning customers, we were also disappointed that no effort was made to accommodate us. We've supported this restaurant year after year, and we expected a more welcoming experience, especially as loyal guests. We hope management recognizes the difference that customer service can make and addresses these concerns so future guests--and returning customers like us--have a better experience.

Thought we would try the tasting room which I thought Kevin still owned. We were welcomed in by a bright&Cheerful host. That gave us option to where we wanted to be seated. My husband chose the dark&Moody back area which was very lovely. Was greeted by a nice petite lady server. Poured us water and took our drink order. Wine selection was nice ask to sample 2 before I made my selection she said of course. Made my decision and looked over menu made our choice by time she came back with my glass of wine. A good place to be in if you like Japanese bar food…read more The decors were composed of a ton of old Japanese advertisements. They had interesting seating arrangements, like bars and window seating can only be sit by parties of two. Getting a space was not easy. Hostess was kind and helpful. Food: fried chicken was a bit dry. Not the Japanese crunchy puffy shell kind. Not bad. Yakitoris are all excellent! Nothing to complain. We ordered everything on the menu. All are good. All cooked to American perfection. Gyoza was good. Nothing to write home about. Ramen: tonkusut black was excellent. Broth was done with time. Tori was good. Also thick broth! Would definitely come back again.

We almost always have Asuka as our server, and she's seriously the sweetest. She's always so welcoming and somehow always recommends something that ends up becoming a new favorite. They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.

Luckily, it looked like the brunch crowd was thinning out so we were able to get a table without a reservation. Bulla serves tapas style meaning you should probably get at least two items if you are not sharing with the table. Looking at the menu, my husband and I both realized that if you are going to get three items each, it really was the best value to get the Brunch Prix Fixe for $32 although it did seem like a lot of food. In hindsight, we probably should have shared one Brunch Prix Fixe and then got one or two other items as I ended up taking food home. There is also a Bottomless Sangrias and Mimosas for $23 but we aren't big drinkers. I did get a hot tea though. For the first course, I ordered the Potato Tortilla and my husband ordered the Sopa de Garbanzo Frita. As soon as they arrived, I realized it was going to be too much food because each one was huge. My potatoes were very thinly sliced and soft and delicious, especially with a swipe of the garlic aioli. My husband liked his chickpea soup but did say it was a little spicy. It also comes with a poached egg in the soup. That was another thing - most of the Prix Fixe items, especially the second course, come with either fried or poached egg and I only eat scrambled which made it hard to choose the next course. I got the Chicken and Waffles which came with three thin breaded chicken fillets sandwiched between super fluffy waffle quarters, served with a rosemary maple syrup. It was all so good, that you could eat the chicken and the waffles without the syrup if you wanted but I used the syrup for the herby flavor. I took home two of the waffle quarters and one piece of chicken for a waffle sandwich at home. My husband's braised pork hash was also really good, and came with another poached egg. For the final sweets course, we both ordered the Hazelnut Waffles (yes, yes, I know, I ordered two waffle dishes in a row). These were so yummy, just slathered with Nutella, whipped white chocolate cream, and chocolate chips. All in all, a great brunch!
