I had craving for cheddar peppers and a coney with an insanely large sweet tea; worst sonic I've ever eaten it was worse then prison food in my opinion. And there is no way that tea was made to standard (I worked at sonic for two years as a manager) it was like someone wafted Splenda into the unsweetened tea and decided that was gonna be the tea for the day. I like this store and I love Sonic Burgers but the burgers here seem a little on the dry side... so I only come here every once in a while. I think this store just needs a better manager and things could get better and they would get busier than they are. Service is good. Same song, 514th verse. Before, the delay in service was due to short staffing. Now they have lots more employees but still slow service and the employees aren't trained very well. At least the carhops are apologetic if you can ever get their attention. They won't answer the call button and we just had to flag down a carhop to correct an order after waiting over 5 minutes to be answered. They are not busy. Remade sweet tea still wrong: not sweet and very bitter. Third drink was ok as we switched to a soft drink. 30+ minutes for two drinks is a little much. I went to this location at 8:20 I went through the drive thru they had one vehicle at the window and one vehicle ordering ahead of me and two vehicles in the bays. I sat in the drive thru for a few minutes and no one answered after I said "hello" (did not speak rudely) I pulled over to one of the bays and pushe the button to order again no answer. I love there drink and slushies but I'm not sure if they treat there employees well or pay em low because everytime I go I push the red button and wait. The red light goes off after like 5 mins and no one answers. I push again and again the light says it's on. I do get lucky and an employee comes out to another vehicle to deliver order so I have to tell at them to get attention and ask respectful if my stall is broke to find out that they r busy and letting people wait while getting other order without letting the ones waiting know. I almost left and others did but while I was asking someone finally answers me because now they couldn't ignore me anymore cause I stopped an employee. I did not feel like my order really mattered to em. If ur busy just respond to the people and say we r busy and will take order in a few. This is not the first time. Think I will not be going back thank goodness there is a second location that will respond to me. I have decided to delete my previous review of three stars and reduce it to one star. The staff can not get an order correct to save their jobs. Today, January 12, 2019 9:28pm I pulled up to get some food and was informed that the grill has been shut down since 9pm due to it being close to closing so they would not be able to make any food other than smoothies or fried food. Now, I don't think I have EVER heard of that business practice. I left and went to Carl's Jr. (who also closes at 10pm) and got great service and great food. It's too bad the staff is more worried about getting out of there at 10 than providing their patrons with a great experience. read more

This has to be the slowest place to get food in Cheyenne. I've waited an hour for my food before. On a 30 minute lunch break? Do yourself a favor and drive to Burger King. You'll be late for work waiting on this Sonic. It doesn't matter if Burger King has 20 more cars waiting than Sonic, you'll have your food faster. They've improved their food over the years which is the only thing that keeps me coming back. But if I'm going to wait an hour for Sonic the cheese on the coney had better be infused with gold. read more
