We've only recently started coming to this location of Sonic and to be honest, so far, we've found it quite excellent. The drive-thru is easy to navigate, as well as the drive-up stalls (which we haven't used yet.) The area is clean and there is never people loitering around making you feel a bit uncomfortable in line. The reason I like this location so much it my order has never been incorrect yet. We like to order "real cherries" when we get a drink and sometimes we get charged for them but never see them in our drink. This has never happened at this location and I'm super appreciative of that. I really like how the person on the other side of the ordering box makes sure our order is correct and follows through with that by the time we get our items. It was kind of weird, I asked the worker if they had the Unicorn Slush and she said yes, so I ordered that and tater tots. About 5 minutes later she comes out with my tater tots and says they couldn't make the slush because they didn't have the boba. Then she gave me the new total and told me to have a good night. Fell way short of customer service and order accuracy. I didnt even leave the parking lot and they didn't give me the pretzel I ordered. The employee made me dump the whole bag out just to prove that we didn't get what was ordered. How is this customer service? How? And then told me that he put it in there. We obviously not! This is how employees treat customers? This is unacceptable and theft especially if an employee doesn't give what is ordered and paid for. On top of that my order was supposed to be done and pick up time was 10:20pm and didn't get my order until 10:40. Why did it take this long especially if I didn't get my whole Ofer that was paid for. After my local Watermill and Circle K were out of ice, I came through Sonic to get a bag of ice. I pulled up to the drive-in stalls and ordered, my total was $3.56 and I paid with four dollars. I had to ask for my change because after waiting for a few minutes, she did not bring any change out. She was pleasant on the intercom when I asked for my change, but when she came out and handed it to me had a slightly sour attitude. I drop by this sonic every couple weeks on my way home to treat myself to a Sonic Blast. Their version of a shake with candy like DQ Blizzard. After the past few times, DQ my be my new stop. I order a medium Blast with Butterfinger with extra candy. The last few times I have gotten my blast they have not gotten the candy below about 1/3 of the way down the cup. 1/2 AT BEST. Once I'm done with the third of the blast there's no candy left it's just ice cream. Kind of defeats the purpose. Tonight when I stopped by, I specifically asked them to make sure they get enough candy throughout the cup instead of just in the first part of the cup. She assured me they would take care of it and it wouldn't be a problem. I thought maybe we were in good shape based on the amount of candy that was on the very top of the cup but unfortunately this time it was worse than any of the other times. The candy only reached about a quarter of the way down and after that it was all 100% ice cream. I don't have this kind of problem with other Sonic restaurants. Just seems to be this one. I guess my review is the same as the others. Completely wrong order, missing food. The manager first said she would fix the order by having me pay the difference for the wrong items. So don't put the receipt in the bag and/or review the order. I had to wait for the someone to even acknowledge me standing and pushing the button I found it odd that I would have to pay more for cold food. I suggested to the manager she take back the wrong items and give me the items I ordered. She agreed to that but I open the chicken sandwich and it is burnt. Short and sweet, here. This Sonic closes early, around 9 I think. The next closest one is the corner of Flamingo and Pecos, witch stays open until 11pm. Makes no sense, since you would think this one would be about the same "busy-ness" level. They are the world's slowest Sonic, I swear. I have done both the drive thu and parked at the drive in. It takes forever to get served either way. No joke, one night, I sat in the drive thu for like, 15-20 minutes!! C'mon, seriously? I should have got a discount for the gas I wasted in idle. I usually love this sonic as it is close to my house and the food is delicious! Today I went there and it was hot out, so after ordering my food, I backed into the lot with my bumper facing the order station. I seen one of the workers come out with my order. I waved her down, she looked at me then turned around and skated back into the doors. When I got out and asked what was wrong, I was told that it's against policy for them to serve a car that's backed in because they fear that the person may drive away without paying. Manager is nice after talking on the phone. I work in customer service so I understand how it's frustrating getting customer complaints but the drive thru chick stole my $7 I gave her. I gave cash and card. Total was $11. The cashier was awkward and just had a sketchy vibe when she gave me my card back. I got home and checked my transactions and the full total was charged on my card. I didn't get my $7 back after she swiped my card. I understand if she forgot to put in the cash, she could have just gave me my money back instead of stealing it. I hate having to be "that customer" but don't steal from me. That's that.
