We just left there and ordered 3 combos, the guy who took the order had trouble taking our order and then, when we had it brought to the car one combo was wrong and the BBQ sauce and gravy was not brought with my son's chicken meal. As well as my Cherry Limeade was flat and had to be remade with my incorrect order. We then asked for the forgotten sauces. Cut to that when the Cherry Limeade and correct burger was returned it was not with the forgotten sauce so we then had to ask for it yet again. While we are eating in our car there is a worker dragging a trash can all over the place!! We then decided to order a shake due to advertising offers for half off after 8pm only to be charged full price with no apology. All he said was...they aren't doing that offer! Service is way too slow in the drive thru. I was the only person there today and it took over 10 minutes for a real simple order. The staff is nice, but the quality of food, price and wait are not worth it. It's not terrible, but not worth the hassle. Service should be fast when your restaurant is empty. Maybe once they find a groove as a staff, the service will get quicker. read more

They messed up our food. Waited for 25 minutes in the drive thru. I know they're new so this will hopefully go faster in the future. This is our favorite after school stop for slushes and milkshakes, and today being the last day of school, of course my kids wanted to come here for a slushy to kick off summer. I don't know What's going on there today but the entire experience was terrible from start to finish. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our order which was mainly just slushy's and soft drinks. They forgot one of her slushy's so I had to push the little red button to ask them where it was and they brought it out about 10 minutes later. When she brought out the missing slushy I asked her for the ranch that we had asked for but didn't receive, it took about five minutes to get that. She only gave us two ranches but plenty of attitude. When we got home we realized we were missing yet another drink that I didn't catch while I was still there but by that time I had invested about 45 minutes into the ordeal, so I'm chalking that up to a loss. read more

Easily the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a fast food restaurant and I'm 48 years old. We parked in a spot and a lady rolled up offering condiments. We then pushed the red button and patiently waited for 15 minutes until we finally they said on our speaker that if we wanted to order to pull in the drive thru. I flagged a skater down and asked what was going on. She went and asked and came back to tell us that wen they get backed up they only do drive thru...,really?? So 25 cars can pass us in the drive thru and now you tell us that's our only option to order. Are you kidding me? I called the manager and she said there's nothing she could do...nothing? How bout come up with a better policy? How bout tell parked customers right away instead of waiting 15-20min. Then to top it off' we are about to leave when I hear the parked car next to me place an order. Complete disregard to customers time and/or importance with zero options given to rectify the problem. Sonic will never have me as a customer again and I'm still not done with my complaint. Everyone who holds an important position with Sonic will be getting a call from me. read more

I was given attitude when I asked for chocolate chip cookie dough bites in a shake? Like really? So rude. The funny part is I used to go just about everyday before work to get one and then all of the sudden "they don't do that here, you must be thinking of somewhere else." Just opened (7/18/16) to a packed parking lot of excited patrons. Located on the SW corner of Newport & Haun, one of the city's newest restaurants. Stopped in for desert & thoroughly enjoyed our Ice cream treats. This location has drive-thru, Parking with ordering screens as well as outdoor tables. Sonic serves all kinds of Burgers, Hot Dogs, Ice cream deserts & snacks. They also serve Breakfast. Love the Icy slushes. Sonics are open late, many nights till midnight. The servers were friendly tonight & service despite the crowd was fairly quick. read more

Which I learned today you can't use with a meal and "it's cheaper as a meal so it's better for you". We visited this sonic last night. We waited in a very disorganized, hectic, badly ran drive through line for 20min. We asked for a grilled chicken club lettuce wrapped. They don't have lettuce that isn't shredded, that's fine just no bun- my husband can't have wheat. We also asked for a regular chicken club (with bun ect.) One order medium tater tots, and two drinks. It was $21 something. Not even two full meals and that price?!????....we get home and both clubs are breaded chicken. We told them "he can't have bread/wheat". The tater tot container had 6 tater tots in it...it was barely half full! The only thing okay with our experience were the drinks. So bad!!! I like Sonic's half price drink specials between 2-4 and have gotten them many times. Even though we arrive a couple minutes early they usually give us the discount with a smile. Today however the young girl insisted on charging us full price because we weren't there exactly at 2:00 and basically argued with me when I asked for the half price special. I realize she's young and inexperienced and needs additional training in good customer service, but it was extremely annoying and doesn't represent the company well. read more
