Food is as expected from a sonic... junk food - expect that and you will not be disappointed. I give this place 5 stars for the drink selection which can not be beat. Let's be honest, If they had one yelp star people would still wait in line to eat here. read more

Menifee is starting to flex its new businesses muscles, as more and more new places grace this good looking city, and Sonic, with its drive thru, and park and be served by severs in rolling skates, like a bygone era come to life in the present, it all adds to a world of variety unfolding in better looking each day, Menifee. Regarding the food they serve, which in our case was: Boneless Chicken Wings-buy one, get one offer, Footlong Coney Hot Dog, Corn Dogs, Tot Potatos, or something to that effect, there was no greatness in these selections of fast food offerings, edible but no lasting quality. There are, of course, several items in their well developed menu, and prices, in general, are not exorbitant priced. Average tasting food, nicely presented, and on a Wednesday night, none of the crowds we saw on a Saturday night. Food places seem to be blooming with sad few exceptions in Haun Rd., and going out now for food is a lot more nicer experience, as even more new establishments keep opening their welcoming doors. We went this past weekend... We ended up paying $50 for my husband and our 4 kids and I to eat! We decided to park and eat since we have never done that before (we have never eaten at a sonics before this) and it was a NONO! The person couldn't hear our order cause the music they play outside is to loud... She kept cutting me off ... For example id say let me have a #1 with a lemonade... And she say... Is everything correct on your screen ? Your total is.... AND ID HAVE TO CUT HER OFF AND SAY IM NOT DONE ORDERING YET!!! I did that every freaken time! I ordered 3 meals and 3 kids meals... And every time she did that to me it was frustrating!!! Then I couldn't figure out how to pay... The server was awesome and helpful! When we asked for refills he took all our drinks and my husbands was half full but he said he'd top it off for him... For free...Well after 6 minutes he came back talking about they don't offer free refills on slushy lemon drinks... (He had already tossed whatever was left in my husbands cup) so my husband was upset... So we told him to give us regular lemonade... So he took off again... Took another 6-8 min comes back saying we can't give you free refills on fruit drinks period!!! We were upset and just exhausted of the back and forth... So we told him to give us soda all 6 drinks... Felt bad that he was going back and forth in 100 degree weather!! He blamed it on the manger! That was not cool! Whoever the manager was should of let it slide at least once for the misunderstanding! I mean my husbands cup was half full of lemonade slush that got thrown away!!! Needless to say WE WONT BE GOING BACK!! order taker had no patience... We felt rushed... And the whole free refill miscommunication was to much! Having spent time in the Midwest. I have a soft spot for Sonic. Nothing like a Route 44 Cherry Limeade on a hot summer day. Still miss the gravy that use to come with the chicken strips. This location was great! Everyone was on top of it! Happy to have Sonic so close to home! read more

The parking lot and drive thru lines is an accident waiting to happen. It's kind of a mess getting to drive thru line and stalls at sonic it is very poorly designed. Although they are doing a good job trying to keep everything organized. I've been here 2 times since they opened and I'm impressed at how well they are doing for being brand new. The food is god but for some reason none of the sonics around can beat the one in hemet they are great! Since the menifee sonic is 10 min from me I'll have to stick with going here. If you do come here, come early or after the lunch and dinner rush. read more

Food is ok. But customer service is aweful. Went there this afternoon for a slushy and tatortots. First problem was cashier began to argue with me saying my card was declined. I explained there was no way because I just deposited money. Instead of trying to run it again she argued with me and then after about five minutes decided to run it. Well amazing there was money! But what even irritated me even more was the tatortots they gave me where hard and cold I asked for new ones. She took the bag and not even a second later brings the same bag out with again cold ones. I then told her that I thought these where the same ones and she grabbed the bag then finally after second complant got new ones. They honestly need to work on customer service! read more

Customer service very nice. My kids liked watching the staff on roller blades as we waited in the drive through. I have been to other sonic's and it seems many do not serve on roller blades anymore. This one guy was twirling on his which made it fun to watch. Whoever was taking orders at the drive through (female on 7/26 @ approx noon) was fantastic. Could hear her clearly and she was very kind and patient. We tried the boom box meal, very good. The burger wasnt excellent, but still very good. The hot dog was delicious as it was different than what we usually get elsewhere. We got the pretzel one with bacon and cheese. I really liked the pretzel bun. Will be back soon for ice cream! read more

I get the same thing every time (BBQ wings) and 9/10 they are consistent on how good it looks and tastes. Sometimes they will have way too little sauce, but it's rare. Friendly customer service, only complaint is that whether you go in the drive through or you park, it's always so slow. Even when it's not that busy. It's delicious so it's worth it to me, but man they are slow. read more

I love sonic and when this location opened it was great! But... the last few months it has lacked greatly. Tonight, I go to get food for my family. They have a deal for a burger and tots for 2.99. I order two of those and a separate burger from the menu with onion rings and two sodas. The total came out to $25. So as I am waiting to pay. I add it all up in my head. It wasn't right. So I pull up the ad from the website and show it to the girl. This confuses her further and 10 minutes later I think she has finally got it. I pay and then after I get my food, feel the need to check it. I see 3 burgers, one tot and one onion ring. So I park and go to one of the boxes to order. I let them know that I just went through the drive through and I am missing food. They send someone out to talk to me. He takes the receipt and goes back. After a while he comes back out confused telling me I only ordered one tot. I go over my order again and he leaves. A different guy comes out and says the same thing! I review once again with him. He says it will be an extra charge. I asked him if he could cover that since I have now been sitting here about 15 min. just trying to get my tots! He told me he could see what he could do and left. Finally I get my tots. Apparently the employees don't know how to operate the system when you order. I get home and I was given three of the same burgers! The last few months every time I have gone here I have had to spend extra time just ordering because the people seemed confused. Hopefully they get a handle on this problem soon or they will have less customers. read more

Always seems dead. Especially the drive-thru. Shakes are very good, tots are no better than a frozen bag from the supermarket. Foot Long Quarter Pound Coney is worth getting again. Jumbo Popcorn Chicken was overcooked, yes it looked perfect, but it doesn't hold up to Chick-Fil-A. A bit pricey, I think corporate needs to review some of the menu items. read more

I visit Sonic's drive-thru in the mornings on a regular basis after walking my dogs at a local park. I always order a large iced coffee, and you can choose the flavoring of your choice. Being an iced coffee enthusiast, I find theirs to be excellent! And the good news is that from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. they have many of their items discounted, and the large iced coffee is only about $1.97, which is a great deal!! Many days I also order a small breakfast burrito and they are also excellent! So I can get a large iced coffee and small breakfast burrito for around $3.00!! Love it!! And guess who else loves Sonic??? My two dogs because they are often given milk bone biscuits served in a cute little white bag, which they always look forward to! Finally, I always am happy when Kyle is the drive-thru attendant because he is always upbeat and cheerful, which is very much appreciated by the customers!!! read more
