This location is definitely a hit or miss. First time we came the customer service was mediocre but the food was horrible. We got the mozzarella sticks that were as hard as a rock and the cheese wasn't cheesy. The nerds slushy was like drinking flavored syrup and candy shards. Felt like you were drinking glass. Second time we came the service was horrible. When I was ordering the guy on the mic didn't sound welcoming and he sounded rather annoyed and said "ugh" audibly for us for being there. When driving up to get our food they forgot to give us our drinks (and we also forget them) so we had to go through the drive thru again, which was fine but the girl on the mic was extremely rude for no reason... After parking though the food this time was actually quite good. Mozzarella sticks this time were cheesy and soft. Have to knock off the Sonic M&M blast we got because it wasn't great in any way. It was just literally m&m's aon top of vanilla ice cream, no effort it seemed. Sonic on PG always has problems. I always try to use the card readers at the bays and they never work... when you mention they don't work, the employees could care less. It's just hit or miss with the level of service you receive. It's also pretty dirty... Pressure washing and cleaning once in a while would not be a bad idea. read more

Worst experience at sonic! Signs posted that they're understaffed! Waited over 30 minutes for our cold food!! Grilled cheeseburger wasn't grilled Large cheese fries had less fries then a small fry and looked unappetizing Bacon cheeseburger toaster had no onion rings on it.. because they were out!!! But they still let the order go through. Drinks weren't correct No big straws for the large cups No jalapeño poppers, onion rings or mozzarella sticks Even kids meal was wrong, order a grilled cheese and got a burger on bread! Worst Sonic I have ever been to. The locations I have been to all over Arizona are amazing, and this one was a disaster start to finish. Drive thru was packed so we opted for a stall. Took more time for them to take my order after pushing the button than it did to show up with the food; which was red flag number one. It took no time at all to get our food, because it wasn't our food. Gave us the wrong order and no receipt to boot. Pushed the button again, and after about 5 minutes more of waiting, I went looking for somebody to talk to. To my surprise the building has no access for customers. So you just have to hang outside the door like a creep and wait for the next person to come out to tell them something is screwed up. Took another 5 minutes to get the correct order and we left. Food was not worth the wait. Tasted fake and freezer burned. Yuck. Skip this location. read more

Very disappointed. Paid for two shakes the total was $11.08. We paid $21.08. Jenna said would you like your change. We said yes. 15 minutes later I had to find a server and ask for my change. She finally comes and hands $9. We expressed that it is short. She says "around here we round up the change automatically and keep it". My question is how can you round up and keep money without first expressing it when we order or in writing. Highly highly disappointed. Really poor customer service in the drive thru. Both times I've gone through, I got to the window and there was no one there at all. The first time I went through the drive thru, I got to the window and the cashier was having a conversation with someone else. After a while, she finally turned to me and took my my card. She never said hello, repeated my order to me nor did she give me a total. So, when I got my card back, I checked the receipt to make sure that they had the correct order.The second time I waited 4 minutes until someone came to the window. I was going through the drive thru because I wanted something quick to eat before an appointment. I was looking at the clock the whole time because I was trying to get somewhere by a certain time. So, I know for a fact it was 4 minutes before anyone even came to the window. After the second drive thru experience, I decided not to do their drive thru anymore. I did go to one of their stalls to eat in my car and the service was only marginally better than the drive thru. That's not really saying much. Don't think I will go back. read more

My friends and I go to Sonic for a couple of Blasts and their blast machine isn't working. Ok, no problem. We order a couple of milkshakes. When we pay, the sever asked if we wanted our change back in which we replied, yes. It took her 15 minutes to bring back $10. We had to ask another server to go get her. She comes back with only $9 and when we called her on the error and she says they keep change, well not today Jenna. She basically tosses the dollar in the car and walks away with a half hearted apology. If there was a way for me to give a 0 for a rating, I would. This is the face I make when my Husband wants to go to Sonic: :/ Thankfully we only go to Sonic for the drinks and he gets the occasional Hot Dog. They closed for a few months recently due to an ownership change (drama) so we came back for a refreshing beverage while out running errands. We both decided that their "Ocean Water" sounded delicious so we ordered the Medium and Large sizes. Quench our thirst it did not. Ocean Water on the menu is described as "tangy flavor with a hint of coconut". They even go so far to say it tastes like the ocean. Now, making such claims you would think the drink would be mostly comprised of what? WATER with that hint of coconut. It was neither of these things. It was actually sickeningly sweet blue SODA with so much syrup pumped in it turned our tongues blue for hours. I simply DESPISE soda and only had a few sips. I would definitely not get this again. I do like their Coffee Freezes and their Caramel Malts. I don't like their Cheese Fries which is simply French Fries with a piece of American Cheese melted on top. What?! This is not a Vegetarian friendly establishment. We are really limited to only French Fries and like the Children's Grilled Cheese. Oh, and the Beverages. Wonderful. I would come back to get another one of their Ice Cream based beverages, but that's about it. I don't know if it's just me and my standards and expectations of basic intelligence from humans, but I really feel like recently young people in the workforce are wasted blobs of carbon matter. You shouldn't expect much quality from a fast food restaurant. Let alone a Sonic, but I stupidly came here for milkshakes to bring back for girls night.. Not only was I given the privilege of burning up my gas for 20 minutes in the drive through, I got to wait another 10 for the piece of my order they missed. I arrived at my destination and was blessed with more disappointment when I saw what I did order, and thanks for the vile little cheesecake bites or whatever those niblets of slimy sweetness are, except I ordered, and paid for tots. Yep, tots. Probably the most simple and basic thing on the menu.... I don't know who the supervising manager is of this store, but you have some p*ss poor employees and hiring managers if they can't even read or write, or tell the difference between a tot and a ball of something fried in the fryer. Cold food, wrong food, can't even speak clearly, looking terrified of the line. It shows a distinct difference between fast food and fine dining because if I had worked like that on my line...I would have been told to leave and never return. Literally every customer behind me was grumbling and I look in the window and don't even see a sense of urgency?!? Everyone is taking their sweet sweet time. Not far off the highway, this place is pretty easy to get into. There are a lot of stalls for parking and ordering. There's a fairly descent size area outside for sitting and eating, but like most(all?) Sonic, there's no inside seating. The food here is always top-notch. We come by here at least a couple times a month. The kids meal is pretty cheap and offers apples and milk. The adult options are generally not super-healthy, but you can find something for everyone. The desserts are great! And the after 8:00 half price selections are a steal. read more
