First I order food and all of it is wrong. Second I push the button to call an employee and 2 respond and both go silent and ignore us. Third i go to the door and get ignored so I knock. The employee Mica tells me "TO BACK THE Fuc% UP" First off who says that after you mess up my order for my kid and i ask you to make a plain burger. The whole order was messed up and he then told me I could buy a new one. I ordered correctly it's not my fault that the employees weren't listening. This is why Sonics keep shutting down. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was beyond frustrating. I waited 45 minutes for just one or two meals, which is completely unacceptable for fast food. The whole point of coming here is convenience and speed, and they completely missed the mark. There didn't seem to be any urgency from the staff, and no communication about the delay. Sitting there wondering what's going on for that long is ridiculous. If you're short-staffed or backed up, at least let customers know. Food was fine when it finally came out, but nothing is worth that kind of wait. Definitely won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

This was hands down the worst Sonic we have ever eaten at.......After we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get our order....I've always liked their breakfast burritos and onion rings.......NOT ANYMORE........The burrito was half the size as normal......still 4.99......The onion rings were about the same size as always.....After waiting we RECIEVED our order........burrito tiny...and cold, awful...the onion rings were cold and tasted like they were made a couple days ago.....They had one car hop trying to take care of a dozen customers.....somebody obviously forgot to train her.........A COMPLETE DISASTER!!!!! Food is alright, service is slow but acceptable. I am giving 1 star because they will not - under ANY circumstances - provide a shake straw to you for your extremely thick shake. It's like sucking an elephant through a straw without one. I have received a shake straw one time in the past, and I'm fairly certain that waiter went through some gymnastics to get it (that guy is awesome for that, by the way), because every other waiter I ask is always confused about the shake straw, or they just completely ignore my request. It exists, they just don't want to give it you. It is unbelievable to me that they won't provide something that is part of having a shake. It's like charging extra, or simply not at all providing the stick in a corndog. From a place that prides themselves on their shakes, you'd think they'd have this figured out. read more

I haven't been to sonic in years and I won't be back again. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, tater tots, and a cherry sprite. The burgers were old and cold . They seemed to have been cooked hours before we ordered them . I asked for lettuce tomato and mayonnaise . I got lettuce, tomato, onion, and ketchup, obviously had been made up earlier and wrapped up with those toppings. The tater tots were cold as well. And lastly, I had to pour the cherry sprite out because it had such a bitter taste . I assume from the excessive amount of cherry flavoring . It didn't taste anything like they used to . The quality of the food was much worse than it used to be in years past. The server was nice though! read more

You will attempt to pull into at least 3 stalls only to back out because they're out of service, and it's rocket science for them to put a cone or sign up. 2. This was my first visit to a Sonic's but it won't be the last. I'm hoping the one's around me are as good - but, you knew there was gonna be a "but", sure you did - to be honest we only got the milkshakes this time around, no food. Oh, and used the restroom, which was, well, not 5 stars but maybe just 3 stars. But those shakes! Truly delicious! The best I've had since I used to get great food at any Dairy Queen - now the things they have are, well, not good. But, back to Sonic's shakes! Great. I got a sugar rush - real ice cream and, well, I have to try the cheeseburgers and hot dogs soon. And the service was great too. The guy who brought the food was excellent. Great service! We were passing through town on a road trip and had a very long day of driving with lack luster food until we stopped here. I hadn't been to a sonic in many years. My wife and I ordered breakfast on Saturday, July 22nd at approximately 9:14am. We ordered a combo #19 with a Strawberry Limeade and a sausage burrito. We waited in Drive thru for 15 minutes then my wife needed to use the bathroom so I got out of my car and knocked on the window to ask how long the wait was gonna be as Seleste (our carhop) was no longer at the window. After I knocked three times, a young man walked up and opened the door. I asked if they've forgotten about our food we ordered. He immediately replied with an attitude, "I'm making you fresh food." I told him, We've been waiting for 20 minutes with no word about our order." He said, "Fresh food." I got frustrated and told him to forget about it and drove off. My wife needed to use the bathroom and I wasn't told how much longer we had to wait so I forfeited my purchase to take my wife to the bathroom. Since my experience, I have some questions. How long is your company's desired drive thru wait time and do you enforce it? It was 9:15 in the morning, and your staff was just beginning to make "fresh" food. What time does your morning staff clock in to have everything ready for the restaurant's opening? And finally, do you teach your staff any onboarding classes on customer service, people skills, and de-escalation techniques? My family and I were frequent patrons since the restaurant's opening at that location because it was closer to our home but since my experience, we will not be back. Even though we like the food and the drinks, I value great customer service. A company's customer service is key to keeping patrons coming back. This restaurant is lacking. read more

We pushed the button and they ignored it and I called back to back numerous times with no one answering the phone. As a person with management experience of my own I was really disappointed in what I over heard. I went into the rest room and over heard only who I can assume to be the manager or the shift supervisor on duty screaming at an employee. Yes, from what I over heard the employee messed up. But by no means does that mean let me scream at you where customers can hear you. "Would you feed this to your grandma, come on now answer me would you feed this to your grandma!?" "You don't have to be here, you can most definitely leave because again you don't have to be here" there was more but needless to say this isn't how you treat your employees, and you shouldn't do this where customers are within earshot. If you want your employees to be the best they can be it is also up to the management to be the best they can be in my experience as well. read more

Usually enjoy getting breakfast from Sonic but this wasn't the case the last time I stopped here. Was on my way to an appointment so I quickly stopped by and ordered a Bacon breakfast burrito and a blackberry tea with light ice, when the orders was read back to me, everything was read back correctly. It took about 12 minutes until the burrito and drink were delivered. I left and was eating on the way and imagine my surprise when I bit into my burrito and it was sausage! I had to end up tossing it because I'm not a huge fan of sausage. Tea also tasted very watered down and not much flavor added to it, I had asked for light ice and there was a lot of ice. Nice location but horrible staff. Stopped by and ordered 2 medium drinks and an order of fried pickles. Whoever took my order was very rude and sighed every time I told him what I needed. Took 15 minutes when there was no people there and the staff was playing around in the kitchen. Also, my order carelessly ended up wrong which is no surprise- and the pickles were not ripe enough to be cooked and eaten. Carhop looked annoyed.
