I went here for dinner last night and had a fantastic experience. Our waitress was Sofia and she was very welcoming and gave us honest recommendations and answers when we asked her questions about the menu. We got the Fuoco cocktail, it was like a spicy passionfruit margarita and it was delicious, me and my friend both ended up ordering a second one. For food we got the Pistacchioso pizza and the Pomodoro pasta, both were fantastic. I wish I had photos to share but the food was so good I didn't even think about stopping to take a picture. I highly recommend this spot -- friendly service and a nice retro atmosphere, but the food alone makes it worth a visit. read more

Good service, very sweet waitress. we loved the decor and everything of the restaurant it felt very old school yet futuristic! I think they would benefit with some front window shades though because early dining (before sunset) was very bright with direct sun in the front room. We were mainly disappointed with the house Sono pizza because the menu listed it with pancetta and "sweet & smokey glaze" and it came out as a pork chop pizza with BBQ sauce. Not an ideal combo for us when we opted to share the house pizza and the house pasta, which was a nice sausage tomato pasta dish. We did not want BBQ sauce with our Italian food! Also, our focaccia came out a bit cold and not as soft, as if it were sitting out for a while. For a higher priced meal, these flaws were unfortunate. I think it's a good new restaurant with great potential but maybe needs some adjustments before having us back! read more

This place is obnoxiously LOUD! Seating is cramped with tables crammed too close together. The menu is rather pretentious, the portions are quite small, and the food is basically mediocre and overpriced. Our server was training, but did a good job. Unfortunately, there is no entry or arrival area. When you walk in the door, tables are right there. Add all of these concerns to the shortage of convenient parking and you quickly realize this place has too little going for it. read more

Wow! I have been watching Sono come together for the last month and the wait was worth it!!! We went the opening week and the decor is stunning.... It has such a great atmosphere with some really fun touches. Also loved the chill uniforms. Sono has such an effortlessly cool vibe and a bar that's just begging to have some of their craft cocktails. We had great service sitting at the bar and can't wait to come back. I ordered the octopus starter and the sauce was flavorful and the octopus itself was perfectly cooked. I also got the caserecce sono and pizza piccante and was wowed by both! Now for the cocktails.... Yummy! I had a fuoco and Classico and I could have ordered multiples of both. The team at Sono will be seeing me again soon. read more

Drinks were fire, food was not. To start off, we were given the tiniest little dish of stale plain potato chips. It felt very random and unnecessary. I think it would have been appropriate if we were sitting at the bar maybe. Just an odd choice in my opinion. For dinner I got the cavatelli gratianati which was the most simple pasta with tomato sauce and the tiniest bit of eggplant. It felt like a kids dish? Very bland. My boyfriend got the lasagna which was cold in the middle but tasted okay. Aside from the food, the restaurant itself was a cool vibe. I really like the decor and lighting. Very cute. However, I was a little confused with the staff's attire. Maybe I'm being way too picky but I thought it weird to be in a relatively nice restaurant that I dressed up for and the staff were all wearing oversized t-shirts and old Nike dunks. Didn't really fit the vibe in my opinion. Overall, wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend unless you're only stopping by for a drink. read more

I have been so excited to try this place out, I live in the area and would always walk by and peek through the little hole that had up in the window. My first impression is it's absolutely gorgeous inside, such a cool vibe. They have such a great selection of pizza and different pasta dishes I've never seen before.
