We came here to have my RAV4 Sport detailed, I have to say that they did a phenom job getting the car spick and span, they sure got rid of the minor scratches on the exterior and they did clean the car beautifully on the inside, I felt like my 10 year old car looked like I've only used it several times - they of course weren't able to remove the ding that my friend did to my car (lol..not really) but Sonora Auto Spa sure made it look pretty slick. I've been here on and off for several years now. I'd probably give it a 2.5 stars if i could. Car wash is mediocre; equivalent to automated car washes at the gas station. They used to do hand washing, but have since installed machines with the twirly mops. The employees who wipe down the car will vary, this goes for other car washes as well (i think this depends on how the employee is feeling when he receives your car. Maybe he's feeling great and having a good day and will do an outstanding job. But if he's ready to go home he'll just casually wipe the large flat parts). If you just want a quick wash and don't mind some leftover dirt, this place is worth your money. If you want the car looking like it came off the lot, I'd look elsewhere (or wash it yourself). read more

I went to Sonora Auto Spa and Lube about 20 mins before closing time to get a quick car wash. I wanted to get my car detailed, but since it was near closing time I decided to get a regular wash instead. The workers did a very thorough job cleaning my car inside and out. They upsold me on a car wash, I'm happy to spend $70 as long as my car is clean however I didn't notice much of a difference on the inside or out- crumbs, hair and dirt on the seats, floor mats and console. I just took my car here for oil change and car wash combined. When I went to claim my car after they finished the wash it was hit. My car didn't have a hit. It was evident that they hit my car and damaged it. They of course denied it. I asked to review the cameras and they willfully denied me of that. I visited this car wash around 9 AM when there were hardly any cars, but it was a huge disappointment. By the time I paid and got back, my car was already going through the wash, which made me question whether they even vacuumed the interior. After the wash, my car still had dirt and streaks all over it. The windows were smudged, and the rims hadn't been cleaned at all. For the price I paid, I expected much better. There were also noticeable stains that I ended up wiping off easily when I got home. I basically had to vacuum and clean the car myself--it looked like I hadn't even been to a car wash. I've been going here for years prior to my move to Hawaii over 9 years ago. Today was my first time back and happy to see the same family appears to own it still. Looks like they no longer have the guys who hand wash the cars in the wash tunnel. It is now done mechanically but not has harshly done like the drive-thru washes. Not a deal breaker for me, so I will continue to come here. Overall, they did a great job. I got a #3, car was vacuumed, dried nicely, no drips even when I left because they used the high pressure air hose to get all the water in crevices. Rims were shiny and tire shine applied perfectly. My car had some hard water marks that didn't get washed off, but those usually take a clay bar to get off anyway, so that was understandable. Will definitely be back. read more

Honestly, I'm done with this car wash. It's been a few times I've brought my car here and for the most part it's always been pretty average. But to increase your prices and also lower the quality of your wash is poor business practices. These guys are amazing! Highly recommend if you need your car washed or need a complete interior detailing! I haven't tried any of their other services, but I'm 100% certain you'll be 100% satisfied with the results and quality of service! My mom has been going here for years to get her car washed and they've always been kind and given their 110% and gone above and beyond when it comes to cleaning her car, and she recently gave me a gift certificate for Christmas for $100 for whatever service I wanted, but specifically car washes since that's what we usually stop by for or money towards to getting a complete interior detail, since I recently got a used 2012 Volkswagen Passat for my 18th birthday from a family friend and the previous owner didn't take care of it at all, especially having two kids and a dog, for context of what the car looked like before because I can't find any before pictures in my camera roll. Also I had steam cleaned it like one to two weeks before I took it to Sonora to get the interior detail and even before I received the gift certificate, and literally brown muck was being sucked up for even more context and I cleaned it for two hours until my battery went dead and I had to call AAA, haha. Anyways, I went inside and the lady at the front desk told me to pull up and she would get the manager and immediately when I pulled up he greeted me and I told him I needed a complete interior detail, and he told me they needed to add a steam cleaning on top of it and pointed out the crevices I wasn't able to steam clean and throughly explained why and it was completely understandable, the car was honestly a hot mess lol. But continuing, he added a free car wash on top of it and with the steam cleaning and the complete interior detail came out to $250 even. The complete interior detailing itself was $179.99. After about four hours (I'm sure if you have a newer car it'll be less time, my car's kinda old and like I said it was a hot mess), they said my car was ready and when I saw it...oh. my. gosh. My jaw dropped, I literally was absolutely shocked by how absolutely brand new of a car it looked like. Every crevice that I had tried hours to clean to no avail was perfect and new, and the carpets and seats were absolutely spick and span. These guys went above and beyond and did an amazing job, and they truly have a talent for it. If you need anything done that they offer, especially their cleaning services go here!!! I really like Sonora Auto Spa & Lube because its waiting area -- both inside and outside -- are spacious. I can read a book with the tables and chairs provided inside, OR I can relax on the long benches outside. The workers always take their time to do a great job and I always come away with feeling like a VIP upon approach and afterwards. The whole staff is courteous and professional. YOU WILL WAIT for the guys to finish washing and waxing your vehicle, but they're meticulous. The only gripe I have with Sonora is their prices. Today I went to get may car washed and I paid for the highest of the 3 options to give them a little extra money because I know the pandemic hit all local businesses. The staff has always been kind to me, helpful, teaching me about cars in a helpful way. Not only that, my 2011 Toyota Corolla that has seen this place time and time again still runs like a dream due to proper maintenance and good oil changes. Gevik is kind. In a time where people are always on the go and forget to treat each other as humans, he does! He's helping me keep my new hybrid Jeep Wrangler in check after I didn't take care of the engine this last month just in time for proper summer maintenance. My 2020 Ford truck- got it detailed asked manager if there is any way we can fi d out what happened. At first he seemed responsive, he said I could look around which I proceeded to do. Whe I looked back as I walked through the site he had vanished. I went back to the lady at the register- very nice lady to ask if we can look at the footage from the daytime truck was here. She directed me to ask Richard theanager who was nowhere to be found. I came in with the intention of getting to the bottom who is responsible for the damage to my vehicle but the manager immediately before he ran off said oh someone hit you. Ah yes someone did and thats why I came back. No one would do this purposely, what is I'll intentioned in my opinion is the unwillingness to get to the bottom of what happened, was the damage done here at the Sonoras? That's all I was asking. And to find out would be footage. So I will be contacting thosee who posted reviews on here who had similar experiences and figure out next steps. This is my first bran new car so a bit bummed. I came here yesterday for a car wash, a wax job, and an engine wash and grease. I payed a total of $140.00 and left a $20 cash tip. I wish I could be leaving a good review but I really cannot, the inside of my car is still filthy, there is dust on the dash board, there is hair all over the trunk as well as dust. As if the back wasn't touched at all, it clearly wasn't; I've washed my car before and I know how it looks when you've used a damp rag on something or when it hasn't been touched at all. The biggest disappointment of all was the engine clean, the engine wasn't touched at all, the hood wasn't even opened, at first glance you can see black dust blanketing the engine and all its parts. I payed an extra $70.00 for the engine wash and they just never washed it nor opened the hood even. I went to the lady inside to explain to her what's going on and not only was she rude with attitude but they weren't willing to give me a refund or do the job they got payed to do but never did. With this experience I strongly suggest no one ever give your hard earned money to this business, unless you like paying for poor done jobs or like paying people to not do the job at all. The. Quality of my car wash was $30 at most, I payed $140.00 + $20.00 tip and they didn't even have the decency to clean the things you payed them extra to clean. Big warning here come to this wash knowing you could pay a ton for a bad job. They are in the business of ripping off people now?!?! The car wash in Chino charges a $1 a mat and the normal car wash price so $20 unless I get more like tire dressing and sometimes they throw that in. Located on Riverside Dr in Glendale, I came here on a Saturday afternoon and needed to get an oil change for the car and a nice car wash. Ok thinking it might take at least an hour to get all this done...I was super excited when it really only took about 35 minutes. The oil change was fast and than the car wash was even quicker. I liked how even though the car was really filthy they got all the spots off and yes it was shiny and new. I couldn't have asked for more. Also the waiting area is either inside or outside. The inside area has chairs and table where you can watch each car while they go into the wash. This is where you pay for your car too! Chips, beef sticks and thing likes liquids for hydration can be purchased here. I did get a beef stick since I haven't had one in soo long. Just reminds me of when I was a little addict to these things. Now ehh not so much. :) But overall I was truly, satisfied and I would come here again when I am pretty lazy about washing my car and if I need to get an oil change! read more

I'm not sure if they are under new management or what is going on, but today's experience was completely unacceptable! I took my car in for a wash today and Told, the man cleaning my car that they had not done a very good job last time and he told me that it wasn't his problem. I spoke to the cashier who referred me to the manager, Richard, Who proceeded to go off on me and and asked me what do you expect? I told him what I expected and the conversation turned extremely ugly. To whomever owns this establishment, I suggest you clean up your staff and or pay them more to do the job that we are paying to have them do for $30 plus to wash my car I expect a decent job. My mother swore this was THE best car wash place ever, and since I usually let mother nature take care of my exterior car details I didn't feel the need to have my car wash; however living in sunny California and in the 80's in early January my car had dirt on top of dirt. I drove in and they do offer a combo deal of an oil change & car wash package, they also have from the basic wash to the what I thought was the deluxe wash at $18.99 and since I haven't spoiled my car in awhile, I opted for that one, which included wax, under car wash carriage, freshener, tires, etc...bascially the works! I will make clear this was not a detail package but the most expensive of the car wash options. I sat patiently and waited as the service man pampered my car, I figured since he took so long he was putting the effort into giving me my monies worth. Shame on me! Just like I never leave without checking to see if my food order is correct I should had done the same with my car. It wasn't till I got home that I noticed that the wax job was terrible and left shrieks everywhere and that my rims where still very still noticeably dirty. Paid for the outside Royal (?) wash which is a STEEP price at $30. My car is lowered so it cant go to your typical hand car wash places that utilize any chain movement. Sonora Auto Spa is set up nicely. Signs are very clear and they have a large staff to handle everything. You first pull up to the vacuum area. The options on car wash packages are listed above your head. An attendant comes to you and writes down which one you choose and you pay inside. My $30 car wash I thought could utilize the $2 off Yelp check-in offer. I was sure I read that from another Yelpers review. I tried to use it and the nice lady at the counter wasnt sure. She stepped out to ask her manager but sadly she said they couldnt honor it for this type of wash. Bummer! Oh well... I tried. My wash was all done in the detail area so it was soaped, washed and lightly dried and compressed air-cleaned in the the detail bay. They are working on other cars there but mine was the only one being washed. The others were being detailed. One of the workers then drove my car out to the common area to be dried, windows cleaned and tires/wheels be given the attention they needed. The wheels were cleaned and tire dressing applied on the rubber. The guy took a good amount of time washing, cleaning and drying my car. Same person working on my car throughout the process. My ride doesnt really get dirty whatsoever on the inside and I try to keep it clean so I am very picky about the car wash places I go to. I had been going to one for decades but it had since changed ownership and the quality of work had declined in my opinion. And my car is my baby so I wasnt comforatable bringing my car in there anymore. It's really too bad... I was going to another one for a few months but I just didnt like the job I was seeing from them. Soap spots, windows werent clean, muddied little areas... My car is white so dirt shows and I know every inch of it because I detail it at home after I take it to get washed. It was unacceptable especially because I was nearly spending $20 every 2 weeks for a car wash. $30 is a lot for a wash. Even a good one. But I did walk away with the peace of mind that my car was being cared for as I'd like and that it was in good hands. At that price it should be. I just cant take it there every 2 weeks as it just wouldnt be practical. Sonora Auto Spa is a good option for your hand car wash needs. There is plenty of seating inside and outside while you wait for your car. The inside doubles as a little convenience store complete with snacks, cold drinks and car knick knacks like air freshners. The cars are dried in the shade with an overhang whether they were getting a wash like mine or the more regular variety that they offer. I thought I would give myself a couple of days to see if I forgot about my last time here on Saturday, but today is Tuesday and I'm still really bothered by it. My car is not by any means in the best shape, its a 2011 Scion, the back part that hangs over the license plate has broken off (I will add that it broke off after a wash here, but it was already coming off anyway so I didn't make a big deal about it), I have really bad water stains because my husband has not fixed the sprinklers to spray away from the street, and the outside gets really dirty. I'm a mom, I tote my kid and her friends around, we have soccer practice, so the car gets dirty. I came here on a Saturday when it wasn't too busy, I asked for a regular car wash because I really didn't want to pay extra for spray on wax that wasn't going to help my car out anyway, my car needs a real wax and I'll go somewhere else to get that done. Regular wash is now $15.99 which I find to be obscene. I was charged for a more expensive wash at $17.99 and didn't even get a car freshener, and in fact, I was given a regular wash when I had paid more. I brought this to the cashiers attention and her only response was "oh, sorry". I've come to this car wash for over a decade, I'm local, and although the washes here have always been mediocre (which is why I never ask for more than a regular wash), I've never been so angry. Let me now fast forward to the guys that dry your car, they were literally laughing at my cars condition as they passed a razor blade around to try to get some of the water marks off the passenger side of my car. Although I appreciate that, it didn't do anything to make it any better, and I didn't appreciate how unprofessional they were being. They were also laughing when they saw that it was me that the car belonged to when I went to get in it. They also did a really crappy vacuum job in the back and left the rugs in disarray.
