The service was fast and attentive. The major issue was the temperature inside of the restaurant. We asked the server to turn on the AC and she let us know that it was on. It felt like a sauna inside. We also heard other tables complaing about how hot it was inside. I would also keep in mind that this " cafe" is ALSO A SHABU RESTAURANT it is not a separate cafe. I was unaware of that and came thinking it was going to have a " cafe" atmosphere and it does not. It absolutely looks like a shabu restaurant inside. Would not recommend if you are looking for a cute brunch spot.

We ended up ordering two "quick and easy" ice drinks. We asked if she was working alone... this lady only had rude comments and answers to say (smart ass). It is unfortunate to be treated that way specially when it was my first time there. It is also very unfortunate that the Spanish Latte I ordered was delicious, BUT I will never be returning or recommending this place due to the horrible customer service. I have family in the coffee business and customer service is always a priority, not at this location. Very disappointed with whoever hired her and trained her.

This location is convenient and accessible because it's a drive-through, although traffic can get backed up. The eggs are also more expensive than the ones across the street, and in reality, I really couldn't tell which ones were better. I know some people are sticklers about eggs, but I honestly couldn't see much of a difference between the blue eggs I got from Maust Farms and the brown eggs from here. My biggest issue with this place was the amount of fecal matter on the eggs. That wasn't exactly appetizing, especially compared with the eggs across the street, which were much cleaner. I know farm-fresh eggs aren't always going to look perfectly clean, but for what I paid, I expected them to be cleaner. I originally thought you weren't really supposed to wash farm-fresh eggs with water, but when there's visible fecal matter on the shells, obviously you want to clean them before using them. I later learned that you can buy an enzymatic egg wash specifically made for cleaning fresh eggs and that the water should be warmer rather than cold when washing. Using cold water can cause the contents of the egg to contract and potentially draw contaminants through the porous shell. So if you're coming to this location, I would recommend knowing how to properly clean and store farm-fresh eggs, especially if yours are as dirty as some of mine were. The people here were very nice, and the drive-through is definitely convenient. However, between the higher price and how dirty the eggs were, I'll most likely go across the street next time.

The servers were extremely intentive and always asking us if we needed more coffee or extra water for it to be so packed and the fact that they were so welcoming and attentive, says a lot about the restaurant. We sat outside and ate on the back patio, which was perfect to enjoy the sunshine. There were tons of beautiful plants and butterflies all around while we were enjoying our food. They also make sure to include fans at each table, so that flies won't get to your food. Our breakfast itself was amazing. No notes I will absolutely be back and I'm mad that I haven't gone back sooner to be honest.

On Saturday, my honey and I were craving mexican food so I suggested " Sonoras". He agreed and so we went. He went inside and ordered us two burritos ( 1 carne and 1 brc). The wait time was quick, he came back out and we decided to eat in the car. I took a bite of my burrito and my first thought was " hmmm , no flavor?" So I proceeded to take another bite and the same thing NO FLAVOR. To be quite frank with everyone who is reading this , I have never tasted a burrito so flavorless like this one was. It seemed as though my tortilla was a bit raw as well which made the flavor even worse. I thought to myself maybe it's just my burrito And my honeys might taste better so I took a bite of his and the same thing!!! FLAVORLESS! I was so disappointed ): My honey went back into the store and asked for a refund since there was only 2 bites taken out of it . But the lady in the there said there was no way of doing it, they didn't even want to give us new burritos. What kind of service is that!?!?!?! I WILL NEVER RETURN. We returned after about a 15-year hiatus, hoping to reconnect with an old favorite. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. The shrimp burrito was on the lighter side and felt overly filled with rice. While the house-made tortilla was excellent and a clear highlight, the salsa tasted watered down. On a positive note, both the rice and shrimp themselves were flavorful. At $14, the overall value of the burrito felt lacking, earning about a 2-star impression from us. We might consider stopping by again just for the tortillas, but with the newer Northgate Market on Mountain Ave offering strong competition, it's uncertain. This restaurant has clearly stood the test of time, which speaks to a loyal customer base. However, it may no longer be the right fit for us moving forward. read more

Right here they cut the tortillas in little squares and deep fry them before they drench them in tasty red sauce. That's the way you do it!
