My family got to the restaurant on February 16, 2019 and the waitress said we couldn't stay because they closed at 6pm and it was barley 5:30pm. Once we ordered our food she messed up two orders of ours, she didn't even repeat our order to make sure it was right. The waitress even had a bad attitude towards it. One of the cooks came outside and we explained what happened but he wanted to turn the situation around and blame it on us. We asked the cook if we can change the order and he didn't instead he gave us our money back, so he wouldn't have to go back and do it again. The service was HORRIBLE and wouldn't recommend. I called a head of time to place my order & the nice woman who answered the phone did tell me they only had day old tortillas, but they would still be ok to eat. I got two breakfast burritos based on the raving reviews. I got a chorizo & Bacon burritos. First off, make sure you bring cash because they charge you $1 per order to use your ATM card. For the two burritos, it cost $17.50. I thought that was really high for what what I got. They was almost no bacon or eggs in my burrito. Both burritos were probably 80% potatoes. $8 for basically a potato burrito is extremely high in my book. For that price those burritos should of been packed with bacon. I also didn't understand the why it took 20+ minutes to get my order. There was only one person in front of me? The one positive I will defiantly agree with the other reviewers. The fresh made tortillas were very good. In summary, there are much better places in the area to get a breakfast burritos for less money. Sammys in Ontario makes a great bacon buritto for $5 each and they don't charge a ATM usage few and you'll get your food in about 5 minutes. read more

So I'm new to Chino I have no idea of a good place to get Menudo / Pozole This is the 2 nd place I try for menudo locally Well when I parked in front MY 1st Red light was a big sign menudo Everyday ! I knew better but I had to try ! Remember it's SUNDAY morning ! Well I went in my wife by side braving a new place ! Place was clean small TV playing , usual small Mexican place so I was a lil ok with it ! I ordered a large bowl of menudo My wife a small Pozole !! The look on her face when she started to eat was enough for me , my wife is very pretty and easy to read her face !! Ha ha So then I took a spoon of a piece of meat , then a second one both different kinds , and with that , I remembered a flavor Of stale water made menudo minus spices of normal red chile and onion etc !!! Overall texture was good hominy was good , But I think if I had a place I would taste before I served !! I feel the menudo was made last week and microwaved there when I ordered. I took a while to get and the other couple had their food , so I was next and it took time !! Pozole I tasted was like it was the same with bay leaves soaking in it ! The the burritos are great and the tortillas are excellent. I was just a little disappointed that on a Saturday morning they were selling cold tortillas by the Dozen from the night before. What an amazing find. I was craving a good authentic chili verde burrito. I found it and not so far from home. First off the flour tortilla is as fresh as can be. It must be homemade and if it isn't. It doesn't matter because it tastes that way. The beans were sooooo good. So tasty so like my grandmother used to make from my childhood. My favorites beans are from Javier's. Tasted just as yummy. The chili verde was so tasty. I added some Monterey cheese because that is my favorite cheese and not all Mexican restaurants use that. Don't let this gem disappear. Eat here. Support this family place. You can eat there but I got mine to go. I will be back. I'm so happy to have found a local yummy Mexican place with authentic food. read more

HOMEMADE TORTILLAS OMG!!!! I've been here about 3 times. Always full, happy, and satisfied. Burritos are gigantic and delicious. Green sauce keeps you coming back. Had the sauce on burritos and enchiladas. This is a small place in a little shopping center. It's easy to miss but once you've been it's worth coming back to. My job used this place to cater a luncheon of enchiladas and tacos that was great too.... Prices are good for quantity and quality of food. Love it!!! read more

Came here last night for dinner. Got the 2 tacos durados special with rice, beans and a drink. The waitress said it was smaller portions since it was the lunch/dinner special but it was plenty of food. I devoured everything on my plate!! The beans and rice were very delicious and the beef tacos were great. They have a pretty awesome salsa bar with a bomb green salsa that was super flavorful. It nice and clean on the inside, but the location itself is on the sketchy side. They have $1 tacos Monday through Friday which is pretty cool. Definitely will be coming back here again. read more

Excellent tortillas and chile verde! I used to live nearby and would pick up the chile verde family meal on a regular basis. Definitely worth the $30 to feed at least five people. Now I have to settle for picking it up whenever I happen to pass through Chino. They have odd hours, though. I don't think the hours are regular, and they close early, so it's best to call ahead to make sure they'll be open. read more

My wife, two daughters and I went here after church the other day. I've always judged a Mexican restaurant by the Rice and Beans. These we almost as delicious as my mother in laws and few people can make either as good as she did. My youngest had Menudo and gave it a thumbs up, middle daughter had the carnitas taco plate and loved it, wife had a carnitas torta and said it was very good, I had the chilaquiles verde and they were up there with some of the best I've had. It is a small place, nothing fancy but very clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. If you want good homemade style Mexican food this is your goto place in chino. read more

Although it was okay in the past, the last few times we have eaten here, we have been disappointed. Today was the worst! We ordered shrimp cocktail and a chicken burrito. The crackers were so stale, they were not even edible. The shrimp cocktail had no flavor, and we ended up throwing away more than half of it. The chicken burrito was disgusting - watery beans, too salty, and the chicken was cut so small it didn't really seem like chicken. I guess I should have stuck with the bean and cheese burritos I used to get. I'm only giving two stars rather than one because the server was nice. read more

Came here while waiting for my car to get washed. I walked in and sarcastically asked the waitress if the food was good here she politely said "yes". I ordered a breakfast burrito had some chips and salsa while I waited the salsa was great. I get my burrito and no lie it was 14 inches and it was filled egg, bacon, potatoes, cheese. We are REAL Mexican "foodies" - this food is as good as it gets - actually, everything was over the top! We happened across this restaurant when we were in Chino and do not live in the area. From the outside, you don't know what you are in for; however, the have a "A" rating sign so we thought we'd give it a try. WOW, from when the waitress greeted us to when we ate SOOO much gourmet food, eveything was perfect. From the pozole (pork) soup to the carnitas taquitos plate to the salsas to the homemade flour tortillas to the chips to the pico de gallo, everything was the best we have had. We are so sad there isn't a Mexican like this family restaurant in our area and it is too far to drive to Chino for a "quick fix"! For sure, we needed a Siesta after this wonderful food. We wish them continued success and we'll be back when we are in the area. This restaurant is a MUST if you like REAL homemade Mexican food. read more
