A friend suggested we try this newly opened place. Wow! It exceeded all our expectations. It is self-serve, but they have so many different choices to pick from. I ended up sharing a Caprese salad and a slice of margarita pizza with a friend. You could taste that the mozzarella was homemade, margarita pizza was wonderful. I also had to save room for dessert and had a cannol. I truly like that. They don't fill the cannoli until you order it. Other friends had an arugula salad, meatball sandwich, and some type of a cheese sandwich. The prices are extremely reasonable. All the food is freshly made. My friends all ordered lemon cello drinks and said they were wonderful. They truly keep on top of cleaning off tables and making it a pleasant environment. Everyone here is so friendly. Plus, it is a nice place to have lunch. Someone said they're thinking of opening for dinner. I can see the dinner crowd jamming in. Will definitely return here read more

Was really excited to try this spot but it was just not good... the pastries are definitely made from a frozen dough, the bread is very sad, and they skimped out on the ingredients for the sandwiches I had. The flavors are unfortunately quite muted although they sound great in the descriptions on the menu. For people who know Italian food, this just doesn't do it. But the place itself is cozy and family-friendly if you don't mind sub-par tasting food. read more

Super cute place! I have nothing bad to say about it. The food is wonderful and so is the staff. Everything is reasonably priced as well. The inside and decor is awesome you would never guess you're in the Midwest suburbs. I am glad I live close by, I will definitely be a repeat customer. Hopefully they add a happy hour or stay a bit open later come the summer time as they have wine and few cocktails available! read more

Worst dining experience. We were gifted a gift card to this place, so i stopped by for lunch with my son while running some errands. We ordered, and the cashier didn't know how to use the gift card, but said he would bring it back out to us and gave us our table name. We sat down on a very busy sunday, and 15-20 mins went by when i noticed others who came in way after us getting their drinks and food. Then a waiter came by asking if they could take the one extra chair at our table, i almost felt like we were getting kicked out at that point. I felt so bad, and left my young son at the table by himself while i went to ask about getting our gift card back since we didnt have any of our food or drinks which took another 10-20 mins. At that point, the manager forced us to take our food home which didnt include my son's meal. He didnt charge us for it, but i couldnt take the food without my son's meal so the manager had the spaghetti made and gave it to us which was burning hot. Don't get a gift card here, and if you're looking to relax go somewhere, anywhere else. You'll have a better experience at mcdonalds, chipotle, or panera where they wont forget your kid's meals or make you leave your child alone for a mistake the restaurant made during the holidays and winter break. read more

Unfortunately this our second try and the food remained disappointing, Food temperature needs attention. Soup was room temperature not hot. When sent back to heat up, never received it back. Finished dinner and had to ask for soup to be removed from bill. Server comment was "oh you never received"? Tried the margarita pizza, also not heated enough to even melt the cheese, nor did it taste fresh. Very disappointing. This was our second visit as sometimes a restaurant has a bad day, however equally disappointing. I really want to like Sorelle but at this point would only get a cappacino, which was really good, if I ever stop in again. A positive to note, is the decor is cute and restaurant clean. read more

This is a cute little restaurant with fair prices. It does get crowded and noisy at times and is difficult to find seating. I recommend trying each item once to find your favorites. I personally enjoy the Cheese Ravioli with Vodka Sauce and the Pomodoro Panino. read more

The "example" of the dishes that they serve in the glass case is very off putting, it is dried out and doesn't look appetizing at all. It would be much better to have photos of the food. The Pomadoro panino has too much olive oil and arugula, barely any cheese, I think that fresh mozzarella would be much nicer on the sandwich, the dominant flavor is olive oil. The slices of pizza sitting out in the open with all the staff working and talking around it, not very sanitary. read more

I have to say that we have eaten here two other times. Both times we had the Pomodoro sandwich. It was Very good. Today however was a different story. My husband ordered the sausage, peppers, and onions sandwich. He said the sausage was very good but there was maybe one slice of green pepper and 2 pieces of onion. I ordered the minestrone soup and a slice of mushroom pizza. My minestrone soup was watery. The only seasonings I could taste was salt. The bread on the pizza bread was good. We then went up front to get cannolis. There were 3 people near that register working on filling pastry & making coffee drinks. After a few minutes the person making coffee said she would help us. After 5 minutes we left. This was not a $30 meal. I know that's not a lot to spend at a restaurant these days. Either charge more and make the food better or taste the food after it's made and add seasoning if needed. And just to add insult to injury. On the way home we stopped at McDonald's to get an Icecream cone. The last time we got one they were $1. That I guess was a while ago because our bill was about $6.50 for 2 cones. LOL. So much for going out to get a bite to eat. read more

It's a cute place but the customer service wasn't so great and we got there it was our first time there we did not know how things were run there and there wasn't any signs for host or to be seated alone and we asked one the waiters and I understand place was getting busy but he responded " it's first comes first serve" with an attitude once we seated they would only bring one by one plate never told us the utensils were by the water and the food was cold by the time we got it and didn't taste so great but the dessert was great but we took it home because when we received it another waiter brought it over and said"is that it " like sorry for trying to taste and experience this place also it was our anniversary but again really cute place read more

The food, from what I have tried, is a 5 out of 5! The idea of a bakery/eatery and decor is cute and charming ... A 4.5. The service needs a lot of work. It's 2 out of 5. It's a newish restaurant with newish staff I'm guessing, so they have some lessons to learn. I have ordered takeout 6 times and 5 out of 6 times, entire items were missing, 1 out of 6 times something was swapped for something else (I get it, but then don't charge me for it and tell me it's to make up for the item not being available) and 1 time the dressing for my salad was missing. The salad was ALLL about the dressing. Now I have salad leaves. If food alone could measure success, they would be well on their way. I went to the restaurant and I was being give extra items that weren't mine... And we're someone else's. I know they just need to know what the issues are and they will work on it because I've seen one too many restaurants with great food fail because of service related issues. Please, please Sorelle, find a way to nail the service piece. Maybe a checklist for delivery and putting things in one bag so that delivery pickup people don't have to think about grabbing multiple items? Smaller containers for the soup might be good, it looks like we are being given a very small portion when delivered in huge containers but less than half way full. I'm trying to help. This cute Italian Cafe was such a delightful place! The atmosphere was quaint with impeccable cleanliness! The food was really good. I had to send the Mushroom Pizza back as it was still cold, but they graciously warmed it up. The minestrone soup was nice and hot with tons of Fresh cut veggies. Our new favorite spot! If you love Italy, you will love Sorelle! You can tell every detail of this place is so well thought out - from the branding to the decor. We were very impressed when we walked in, I loved that all the dishes were displayed so you knew what to order, everyone was very friendly and while we waited for the food (super quick by the way!) I was hoping the food matched the vibe and OMG we were not disappointed. Everything we had was sooo good - the Arancini, conto panino, minestrone soup, gelato, espresso, the Nutella croissant (OMG AMAZING!), and my sister got a bunch of desserts to take home and try and she said they were all amazing. I really appreciated too at the end of the meal how someone came by and asked how everything was and thanked us for coming in. That level of service you expect at a fine dining restaurant so was a nice and unexpected touch that just made you feel good. Highly recommend trying this place out and supporting! We will definitely be back to try more. read more
