The little market at the entrance is a great place to look around if you have to wait for a table. There are tables downstairs and upstairs, with an upstairs bar, as well as a rooftop seating area. So, overall, the place is great in terms of seating options. And the staff was very helpful. The menu however left me a bit disappointed on a couple of fronts. First, there really isn't much in terms of vegetarian options. Second, the prices are about $6-10 too much in some cases. For instance, I got the vegan butternut squash soup--it was $16 for just a cup of soup with one piece of cold focaccia. I've never paid $16 for a cup of soup. Never. Ever. For me, it should have been $8-10 based on size alone. Maybe $12 if it were a bowl...but it wasn't. It was a cup. It also tasted like vinegar. In hindsight, I should have sent it back...but I didn't want to be "one of those people". Next, their sandwiches are between $17-$21. That's just a lot for a sandwich no matter how you look at it. It just seems like there should be a couple of lunch option that are #1-Vegetarian and #2--in a lower price range. Oftentimes, lunch is my smallest meal of the day, and besides the soup, everything seemed too big...and too pricey to me.

They were perfect! The server said they are brought in from Boston and they blew us away. They were all plump with no chewiness whatsoever, no grit at all, swimming in a delicious garlic wine sauce. You need these in your life! My entree was the manicotti which was a perfect al dente, loaded with ricotta and other cheeses, and topped with a fresh tomato sauce. My wife ordered the lasagna with seasoned meat sauce, sweet Italian sausage & a blend of imported cheeses. If you are a fan of meaty lasagna this has your name on it. I got the almond sour (delicious) and my friends were pleasantly surprised they serve decaffeinated espresso martinis. My sister got a spritz, which she also enjoyed. I was also touched that the culinary team was kind enough to sign a birthday card for me. Our table also received complimentary cacio e pepe popcorn to snack on--yum! For appetizers, we got the tuna tar tar (Crudo di Tonno), the strawberry caprese salad, and some shrimp--all so delicious, that they FLEW off the plate! For mains, I got the Rotolo al Forno, which was VERY tasty. My friends got the chicken milanese, the Sorelle spaghetti, and the sworfish. For dessert, I got a complimentary birthday cannoli with a candle and the Limone (a berry and cream-filled dessert in the form of a lemon!) What. A. Meal!!! The food and the locale are just stunning. But of course, not cheap. As a whole, we paid a whopping $399.75 without tip! Was it worth it for a feast of glamour? I'd say so--but definitely not an every day treat unless you have the budget!
