    Chicken Marsala

The food was good, I had the spinach salad, chicken Marsala, house red, and tiramisu on the happy hour special, two meals, three courses for $55. I would recommend it. Service was good and quick. We got stuck by the kitchen door which is always annoying. The look of the restaurant was cute.

This was our second time here, our Friends' first time. The food does NOT disappoint. Full of flavor - well balanced, authentic, hot & delicious! We each ordered a dish and shared family style. The chicken pesto pasta was a favorite. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the dishes were sauced just right. Portions were generous but not too much. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant. Good service, great food, comfortable accommodations!

I don't know if Sorellina is under new management, but it has severely taken a bad turn. Online ordered, said it would be ready at 6:48pm. Get to the restaurant at 6:45, said it would be another 10 minutes, no issue, they are understaffed. Time goes by, it's not 7:15 and people who places their orders after me are getting their orders. When I finally get my online order almost 20 minutes later than the system said it would be ready, I kindly and politely gave the advice to the bartender that they should either have the system give them more time or not take online orders, but I told her I understand it's not her fault, to which I was met with complete rudeness. will not be returning which is unfortunate. Just now got home and the $19 pasta I ordered is looking very sparse. This is unacceptable

This is a great restaurant for a nice Italian dinner or an intimate date. The ambiance and service is excellent, the bread is great, and every dish is meticulously crafted and prepared wonderfully. You can't go wrong with any dish!

What a fantastic experience! We were trying to pick a new spot and decided on Sorellina. When we walked in, we were greeted by Amanda. She was such a wonderful woman! She knew her customers well and we and absolute delight! We felt very welcome, and quite frankly, she made our entire visit better! Sorellina is attached to Slate, which is a dueling piano bar. So you could easily eat here and then go next door and enjoy some music! We chose a seat by the window and enjoyed people watching. It was a beautiful day so all the furbabies were out being walked. We found out that they have an amazing happy hour. The prices were really amazing! They have a three course meal for two for $45. That's right! $45!! I thought for sure it was $45 per person. But no. It was $45 for two!!! You had to order by 5:30 to get that deal so we were happy that we got there at 5. We ordered a Caesar salad and apple walnut salad. The Caesar salad was a bit to garlicky for me, but the apple walnut was amazing!! For entres we chose the chicken fettuccine and the chicken Piccata. Both were incredible!! For dessert we got a canolli and tiramisu. Oh! And you got either beer, wine, or soda including in that price. Crazy right?? The food was great, we loved the Atmosphere and our service was outstanding!!! Definitely recommend that everyone check it out!

Our waitress was amazing truly a sweet attentive soul! Bread at Italian places I've been to usually comes to table no charge so note you do have to order. Wine we had with our meals was enjoyed. Food was just average, we all enjoyed but not blown away. I had the Alfredo and sauce was not a creamy it was more maybe over cooked thick clumps on the noodles and just not much flavor. Restaurant has a really nice vibe for meeting with loved ones and talking.

Food was amazing! Wasn't sure about the pumpkin cheesecake but that was purely to personal taste and not the food itself. Everything was delicious. Service was good but it was busy and it did take a second for us to get our bill, totally understandable. We just had a limit on our meter for parking so we had to leave pretty quick. Hosts were okay, we were told about 45mins so we left and walked downtown, we came back to check on our spot and we were told they thought they sat us and we weren't on the waitlist anymore, no biggie though, it happens; they immediately sat us and it was great from there! it was gorgeous inside though, the bar looked fun; will be back to sit there next time! 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice dinner!

We really enjoyed ourselves! The lasagna was amazing, as was the bread. The Alfredo needed some seasoning. Old fashioned was good, but the pineapple lemonade was just alright.

We came here for my birthday dinner. Overall we had a good time. First the two negatives- We had a reservation but were forced to wait outside until nearly 15 minutes after our reservation time. Hmm okay. Second, service was very slow and minus the appetizers, the food was very bland as is. After adding some (a lot) of black pepper, salt, and chili flakes, our group was able to enjoy our entrees. On to the positives - We had a nice large table in the upstairs area and our waitress was kind and managed her best to offer suggestions and be mindful of allergies. The Te Honga wine she recommended was possibly the best wine we had all weekend and it was nice that she confirmed the dishes were allergy free when she could. We also enjoyed the apps and all devoured the bruschetta while waiting for our main meal. It seems this is a very popular spot and I'm glad we could make the best of it.

My partner & I spent our 8 year anniversary here, and had an incredible time! The food was amazing, as well as the staff & service. Our waitress was sweet & attentive. The ambiance was perfect for date nights. We hope to be back soon!!

Instead, we had foie gras,, tuna carpacio, that was somehow unique, and the best we'd ever had, wagyu bavarette, octopus, and tiramisu. We sat at the bar which was staffed by two very efficient bartenders who did it all. It was nice to be able to see right through to the kitchen from the bar. Really enjoyed the mussel special (not sure if this is always on the menu). The prosciutto fig salad was quite good too but a very small serving size for two people to share as an appetizer. The crostini served with the burrata was very tasty and crispy. The best dish was the fettuccine which has pork ragu and fresh parmesan. This was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. I only wish there were just a couple more noodles because the amount of meat was very generous. If you're deciding between here and the other Italian place also at the Commons (I don't think I can say it by name) I would actually recommend PepeNero's over that one!!!!

Insanely good smashburgers, perfectly cooked fries, and simpler menu that makes a few things really well. I had their version of a patty melt along with some Parm fries. The Oliver (triple) was exactly what I'd been craving in a Michigan-style olive burger. The pimento olive spread was generously slathered on to the crispy lacey-edged smash burger patties topped with Swiss cheese on a nicely toasted brioche bun. The olive spread was perfect...just enough to be bursting with flavor, but not so overpowering that it dominated the entire burger. The fam tried The Junction and The Laura, both on lightly toasted Gluten Free buns. The Junction (Glendale's version of the classic Oklahoma onion burger) was very good, and the GF bun was met with positive reviews. Glendale even offers GF fries, which were excellent (their normal fries are seasoned & battered; but the GF fries were a bit better). If you're looking for a thicker, juicier burger, this is not your place. These are straight up paper thin, crispy smashers. And if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend no less than a double, if not a triple. Drink selections include bottles of various Northwoods sodas, sparkling water, and other choices from the cooler. Glendale presents as an old-school diner, with cool decorations and some posters of Saginaw heritage (the owner's roots). Speaking of the owners...the lady working the register and delivering food to everyone was one...and she was super sweet and nice. It made for a great experience right out of the gate as we were figuring out what we wanted to order. You walk up to the counter and order, then they deliver to your table; or you can sit on a stool at the counter, just like a classic diner. Plenty of seating, but when they get busy, it fills up quickly, yet the service remains fast for the cooked-to-order burgers & fries. Décor is fun (they have a Big Boy!) & fitting for the diner vibe. The entire place is extremely clean and well kept. Pride of ownership shines through in the entire experience.
