The kabob was delicious and flavorful. I really enjoyed the rice, especially with the butter, though I can see how some people might not be a fan of that texture. The dish could have had a more appealing presentation--attention to detail in this area would definitely elevate the experience. The yogurt drink was fresh and handmade, which was a nice touch. Came for the first time for a late dinner after driving to Las Vegas. They're open until 9:30, so it worked timing wise. Only two other groups there when we arrived. Food was okay and plated beautifully. We got a combo to share a chicken and beef koobideh, so we were able to try both. All personal preference because I liked the beef and my hubby liked the chicken. Lots of strong interesting flavors because of the seasonings and spices. Rice was wonderful! And the soup served with the combo was delicious. Service from a young gal named Kimberly was nice enough, she was a very quiet server. Dining room has tables with white tablecloths and pretty dishware and it is very wide open. Be aware though...they charged us for the tap water and a lemon slice. Never experienced that before. Overall 3.7. Seems like it would be a fun place when it's busier and not so quiet at the end of the night. read more

Visited Soroush for the first time last week. The staff was very friendly and while when we first arrived it was pretty empty, by the time we left there were 4-5 more parties in the restaurant. We were given a delicious soup to start things off. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and it was very tasty. Loved the thin wrap for a base. I ordered the ground beef and ground chicken kabobs. The flavor of the chicken was great, the texture was interesting but still overall tasty. The rice was also incredible. It was buttery and delicious. We didn't love the beef kabob. While it was cooked well, there was a particular spice or something that I just really did not like. But I let the staff know and they were really accommodating and brought me a second chicken skewer instead. The crispy rice dish was also just ok. We liked the lentils better than the spinach. It had a nice sweetness to it. Overall, the food was ok. I'll definitely check it out again to try a few more dishes. read more

Arrived on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm and there was one large family of about 10 there and that was it. Ordered up the kabobs, koobideh, Kashyk Bademjan, soup and a salad. All of it was fantastic. Best Iranian food in Vegas on par with a favorite in Westwood, CA called Shamshiri. I lived in Dubai for 7 months and I know good Iranian food. This is on point. Service was a little slow but weren't in a hurry. Ambiance was quiet and a little dated as others have said however they make up for it with the food. Wow. The place was empty. We did show up about 5PM so empty and quiet. Tadig rice was fried and not baked in the pot. The filet barg seemed off in that it had no color or char to it as if it was cooked over a flame. It looked more boiled. Neal didn't come with bread cheese and herbs as free appetizer like most Persian restaurants have. Roasted tomato was on point. Rice was cooked well. The eggplant appetizer was a good portion and good. Not sure why all the people here say it's real authentic and the best Persian food. It is real and authentic but I would definitely try someplace else before going back. read more

I went to Soroush last Friday with a friend and had the lamb shank. It was tender and moist and was served with delicious Persian style rice, which I really enjoyed. My friend had a beef and chicken kabob combination. which she enjoyed. They also offered some complimentary soup, the name of which I can't remember, but was very savory. We finished the meal with hot tea and Persian pastries, which was a perfect ending to the meal. The whole meal was a satisfying experience. The service was excellent with the chef coming out from the kitchen to check on us. He even offered some extra rice for the lamb shank, which was very thoughtful. The ambiance was enjoyable, although the dining room was basically empty. More people around would have enhanced the experience. If you are looking for a good Persian style meal, Soroush is a good call. read more

I was excited to come to this restaurant as it came highly recommended by a couple of friends. We were a bit surprised as we walked into a nearly empty restaurant, the two people who were there apparently were waiting for their to go orders. While we were contemplating what we wanted to eat, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who explained what the dishes were. Second time coming to this restaurant. Food has been consistently really good, the rice is my fave so buttery. First time I had the ground beef kabob and this time I had the chicken. Both were good but I prefer the beef. The service was good, it does take some time to get your food but that's because it's being made right when you order it. For dessert I've only tried their cream puffs. If you're not a big fan of sweets/things being too sweet than this is for you! Definitely my kind of sweet treat. read more

Stopped by while in Vegas for the 4th as I had Iranian friends visiting and they were craving some Persian cuisine. The specialty soup and very aromatic as soon as it came to the table. Very light and seasoned perfectly. The Lamb shank was tender and full of flavor. (Sorry. Forgot to take a picture) The beef and chicken kabobs were moist and had sooo much flavor. I would be happy eating that rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Server was so kind and helpful. Especially with me who had never had specific Iranian food before. My colleague, who is a dear friend, invited me to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants in town. They serve Mediterranean food that is very good. I asked for assistance on what to order, and I chose the boneless beef and chicken kabobs served with salad and Jasmine rice. The meat was juicy and tender with a mild seasoning. It was delicious, melt in my mouth goodness. The salad was served with a fresh vinaigrette dressing, and the Jasmine rice was some of the most tender and flavorful with a cheese topping. My beverage was ice tea that paired well with my meal. I had a coupon for free hummus for checking in on Yelp, so I redeemed it while there. There was a lot of food, so I took home what I did not finish. It was a wonderful experience. The ambiance is lovely, and I met the beautiful owners, who are very friendly. Give me amazing food and phenomenal service and you will get a customer for LIFE! I was raised on Persian food and so it's nearly impossible for me to find a restaurant that is like home cooking. I have visited Soroush multiple times, each time enjoying not only their delicious food but also their events. I will 100% support a business that celebrates the Persian culture. All of the events I have attended include a FULL buffet (including appetizers, authentic main dishes and endless desserts) and entertainment (including a dj, dancing and even a belly dancer from time to time). We went there cause it was somewhat close to the strip. There was a birthday party going on but there were no other customers. We ordered Koobideh that was absolutely awful, portions were small and our bill was way too expensive for what we offered. No bread was served which at Persian restaurants it is something usual. Definitely not a good place to eat. The service was ok actually, so one star. Sorry, you guys need to bring up quality and portions of food. read more

Delicious Iranian food!!! Best koobideh and Barg kabob I have had in years! The only thing I would recommend for them is to add less salt to your food, allow people to add their own sal if needed. Your food is amazing, you don't need salt to make it tastier! read more

From the moment we walked in and were greeted, with a Happy Birthday, to being seated in a secluded corner next to a little water feature that added extra ambiance! Our server immediately came over and greeted us with a bowl and warm flowery water to rinse our hands. He explained how the courses worked, and asked if we'd like cocktails- we had the white wine seasonal sangria and it was delicious! Fresh and fruity! The first course came out and it was shrimp scampi with homemade bread - the shrimp was enough to serve at least 3 people- and it was tasty with lots of flavor! The meat was so tender you could cut it with the fork! It was so much food it could have fed our family of 4, but it was just me and my husband! Such a beautiful experience. They had a pre fixe menu and everything sounded so wonderful. We started with the shrimp, scampi and bread. The shrimp was buttery and garlicky and delicious. And the bread was a big fluffy loaf of delicious deliciously baked bread. We used the bread to sop up the juices from the scampi. Next team, the lentil soup. I've always loved lentil soup, and this was next level soup. So tasty so intriguing the different flavors. Next came the tower of dips and spreads. I've never been a fan of baba ghanoush. But I tried this one and now I am a fan. The baba ghanoush and the Greek yogurt and the hummus and the garlic spread. We're all so beautiful. And the pickled vegetables were amazing. I've never had a carrot pickled like that. It was so juicy and tasty. Next came our entrée of beef kebabs, and chicken. The presentation was beautiful. The kebabs were in a pineapple. The chicken was tender and juicy and succulent. The beef kebabs were tender and juicy. Then dessert came out. A beautiful banana dessert. And they even sing happy birthday to my boyfriend. The atmosphere and ambience are wonderful. They have dancers come out about every 30 minutes. It was amazing. I will be back.

I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.

I ended up having a soda, since they had no 0% Alcohol beer at the bar. It was a bit crowded because this event had so many attendees however, I really like the way that the restaurant presented. The fresh food was nice in the seafood is their signature item.
