I've eaten at very expensive fancy breakfast and brunch places and this is by far THE BEST. Everything is farm fresh (I've eaten at other farm fresh food places and it's not this good) and you can really taste the difference in their food. I got the Farmer's Platter and let me start by saying my scrambled eggs were so soft and tasted so good, their sausage is homemade and like none I've ever had (the chef makes it fresh everyday), and their potatoes...wow, so good!! The place itself so inviting and the staff is just lovely. This is now my go to breakfast spot! I can't wait to try their lunch too! Great little place! My friends and I were looking for some brunch places and happened to stumble upon this and we are so glad we did! I called to see if they take reservations as we had five of us and it was the weekend and they were so accommodating and got us a table. When we arrived we were greeted and sat promptly. My friend and I went here for brunch this morning. The woman who took our name for the wait list said it'd be about 30-40 minutes. We waited closer to an hour. I understand that Sunday brunch is a very busy time and it's a small restaurant. However, some larger parties were seated ahead of us who hadn't been waiting as long. We almost left but finally were seated inside. Our server was very nice and friendly. I ordered blueberry pancakes with eggs and a side of bacon. My friend had the Florentine eggs Benedict. We both had coffees. The food was just OK. Definitely not worth the almost hour wait. The ambiance was nice but overall, this place was kind of a let down. We won't be returning. read more

I have been a loyalist to Sorriso for a number of years and it has always been a treat for lunch with my friends but today's lunch was very dissapointing. First, my friend arrived 10 minutes before me and I completely understand not seating her until the full party arrives when the tables are full but there were numerous empty tables and my friend said she literally stood in the middle if the restaurant main aisle for 10 min while staring at multiple empty tables - until I arrived. My turkey club sandwich was mediocre at best. Very little flavor. The turkey is now processed tasting and looks just like what I get at Shoprite _ but Boar's Head has more flavor. The aiolo sauce is nothing like what it used to be and now looks like glorifed mayonnaise. What happened??? My friend had the chicken caprese sandwich with sweet potatoe fries. They brought regular fries- which she just ate instead and she didnt finish the first half of her $14 sandwich. She said the chicken was not good so for her lucch she ate the (wrong) fried. Sorriso is NOT cheap. $38 for 2 sandwiches and water to drink. If you go during peak season they will ask you to leave your table at 1 hour on the dot. Sad to say- but Im moving on. read more

We had dinner tonight at Sorriso Kitchen, and it surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. We had dined here several times before for lunch and breakfast but wanted to try their Thursday night dinner. We had a 5:30 reservation for outside. The tables were well spaced apart and heaters were dispersed between them. The owners, Jimmy and Karen, take great care in stopping by each table to welcome their guests and make them feel at home. We ordered the Roman salad to share. The greens were crisp, the Parmesan high quality, and the dressing was light and tasty. I had the salmon paired with couscous and fresh vegetables. Yum! The skin was perfectly crisp and the veggies al dente. My husband ordered the hanger steak. It was amazing! He said it was the best steak he has had in years, which was quite unexpected from a small neighborhood cafe. With those rave reviews I had to try it too. The beef was high quality, perfectly grilled and so tender. If you haven't tried Sorriso Kitchen for dinner, I highly recommend you make a reservation for a Thursday night in the very near future. I just finished my last day of school (I am a teacher) and to celebrate my first day of summer I chose to go here. Consistently good with a great cozy atmosphere. Not only are the options creative and delicious, but the portions are also very generous! I always take home left overs. This is definitely one of those places that you wish you weren't full because everything is just so tasty. Had breakfast the other day with my wife the food was ok. My server was busy on her phone and didn't pay attention to us. Felt like there is more hype for this place then should be it reminded me of any local diner.my eggs were over cooked, the sausage was too well done like they fried it instead of cooking it. Not worth the hype or wait. We waited an hour and a half for a table of 2, which would be fine if the food / drinks were enjoyable. They claimed the juice was fresh squeezed; but it was clearly purchased and overly sweet. The avocados on my avocado toast were brown and rotten, and the bread was stale / chewy. Server was extremely rude. Immediately after we sat down she came over to take our order, unsurprisingly we were still looking at the menu and asked her to come back. She approached two more times in the span of 3 minutes and rolled her eyes at me when told her we were still looking. I could understand if we were taking an excessive amount of time to choose but we were there for 5 minutes in total before our order was placed and in that time the server constantly berated us and had an awful attitude. It hurt me to rate this place 3 stars, but I'll explain why. We went on a double date this morning to try this restaurant for the first time. We heard great things and the reviews were fantastic. The real hiccup lied in our service. The place itself is tiny, but adorable and charming. We were seated at the far table and a man, who we assumed was the owner, was so sweet to us and seemed very personable. Our server, however, was everything but sweet and personable. Perhaps she was having a bad day. But she was just short, blunt and very unamused. We asked her a question about the menu and she seemed very uninterested in helping. We had to wait for the bottomless coffee refills for quite some time and she seemed annoyed at our request for extra sugar and cream, even though she brought 2 tiny pots of cream for a table of 4! We also had empty waters quite a few times throughout the meal. The food was good, but a few details were definitely missed. I think the biggest issue was we felt like such a bother asking for anything. It really impacted the entire experience. And since we ended up spending $100 on the breakfast, we hoped to at least feel welcomed. We also had 2 infants and the server seemed annoyed that I was rocking one when she needed to refill the water. We shared the Greek omelette, the blueberry and goat cheese French toast, and a short stack for our little one. Almost EVERYTHING was exceptional, the breakfast potatoes were some of the best I've ever had, conversely I don't think the toast was special (ie from a bakery). Decor is very well done: clean, crisp and simple. Service was great. Little one loved looking at the open kitchen. One thing to improve: they need more savory vegetarian options. The walls and decor tell a story about the owners family history and send good vibes to all. Very fun and creative! The staff is very friendly and really make you feel like a part of the Sorriso family. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are passing through or live locally. Already love this place upon first walking in. Came to celebrate a birthday. Jimmy was so nice and accommodating as soon as we walked in the door. He is one of the BEST hosts in the field (and I compare 5 star restaurants when I say this). French toast with goat cheese and blueberries was fantastic, the grilled cheese panini with homemade fries were excellent and the lime ricotta pancakes were very good. Crazy to say but the paper straw that came in my Iced-tea was a great throwback in time! Would come back here in a heart beat and I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Hostess told us 45 minutes we waited for 55 minutes before going to Chatham Bagel and getting breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Came back sat on a bench next to Sorriso ate our sandwiches and left.
