The vibes are so good! The decor is so cute and aesthetic. It's a very big space so you don't feel crowded. We had the seafood nachos, and the bottomless mimosas. They weren't as strong as I was expecting mainly just tasted like juice. I had to drink about a few to even feel a buzz. The service was nice and helpful.

Decided to celebrate my 30th here, I always heard they had good brunch food. So first off I reserved a vip section or what I thought was going to be a vip section. I paid $280 for literally a table and a bench that barely fit 5 people so I was a bit disappointed, I wish they would put pictures of what your paying for on the website as I had never been there before. I definitely wouldn't have paid $280 for that and just sat at a regular table. It did come with a bottle so I guess that's what I paid for... The food was really good. I ordered the southern. It was catfish, eggs, and grits. It was really good and everyone was pretty satisfied with their food. We also ordered the bottomless mimosas which was per person, I was kinda of surprised by that. After brunch ended after 2pm the day party started and we had a great time. The servers were great as well.

Brunch was pretty good! I went with a rather safe choice with the chicken and waffles, and I was pleased with my decision. The chicken was seasoned well and fried just right, but the wings were a little tiny. If I ever visit again, I'll order extra wings! I wanted the full brunch experience, so I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade Mimosa. I could have gone without it! My waitress was so sweet and did her best to make sure I had everything I needed for a good experience. The restaurant was well lit, and the modern decor made it the perfect place for cute brunch photos.

Super surprised that I was able to get seated right away on a busy Sunday. I tried the salmon & lobster pasta and it was amazing. Creamy and flavorful just like I like. We also tried a appetizer and that was good. Did I mention they also have bottomless mimosas . If you are looking for a good brunch The Marquee definitely won't disappoint

A time was had at the Marquee and I did not get home until 3.....pm. This is my favorite hip hop STL brunch spot. We had the chicken and waffles. I love the sweet and spicy wings. The wings were small and you don't have to ask them to fry it hard. They know how to fry chicken. We also ordered the lobster salmon mac. It wasn't what I expected. They use Penne pasta instead of macaroni. I was a little thrown off but after two mimosa cocktails, I made it make sense. The service was stellar and the DJ was playing all my songs. I can't wait until they open the patio!!!

This place is HUGEEE. I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised to see how spacious and well decorated this place is. I went on a Saturday morning and they had a DJ setting the vibes. Now for the food itself, I was not impressed. I had the Brunch salad and it was similar to the pre made salads at the grocery store. I ordered fries as well and they accidentally brought me two, but they were both different sizes. The menu only had one $3 fries side, so not sure if the bigger serving was correct or not. The drinks that my friends had they really did enjoy! I heard that Sunday's is the day to brunch there. They also turn the space into a club at night! This is a place to catch a vibe, not necessarily a good meal.

Sunday brunch Supposed to open at 11a. We get there at 10:55a and there is a line waiting. Doors don't open til 11:09. We get in at 11:15. Waitress didn't take long to come over and offer us water and we ordered bottomless mimosas. Mimosas took a while. Other folks got their food before we got mimosas and the opportunity to place our food order. No big deal Ordered steak and egg skillet. Supposed to come with steak, egg, potatoes, and cherry tomatoes. Ordered steak medium and stressed to the server I'd prefer the meat to be undercooked than over cooked. My cousin ordered Cajun pasta and liked it. Steak was overdone. No cherry tomatoes. Told server no cherry tomatoes. Server says shes never seen it served with tomatoes but would ask kitchen. Don't know if server ever did that but it wasn't brought back to my attention. I did enjoy the meal however it's the principle which is why it's like where my ish at that I ordered?! Place is cold. Bring a sweater or shawl if you're on the colder side like I am Music is bomb. Dj is doing the damn thing although I'm not sure there is an actual dj, may jus be a damn mp3 The employees are attractive, that's a plus Womens bathroom has an attendant inside which depends on who you are if you like that. I don't. I want to piss in peace Vibe is nice. Black folks galore with a sprinkle of Becky which is to be expected I'd come back for sure. This place is nice

She asked for a "to-go box" and was given four, but only 1 was needed.

This review consists of my entire experience, with guest, at this establishment from only my second time dining in- which was completely different. Natalie was the name of our server (if that's really their real name I don't even trust if that's accurate). First the service, 10 minutes had went by before someone brought us drinks, or set the table. We wanted Hookah and there was even confusion with that order the waitress told us $40 and they accept cash/cash app. It took a minute before she put the order in, so one of my friends asked the bartender who told us it's now cash only and $35. That was just a complete mess. Then everything came all at once, the hookah, drinks , and food. I don't know how we were expected or suppose to enjoy anything because we weren't able to enjoy the hookah that Natalie felt the need to share the only reason the owner sells hookah is because by popular demand. That comes to my next problem. My usual order is shrimp and grits, I had them once but this second time looked like complete SLOP was thrown on my plate. After two bites, I asked one of the bus boys if they changed the recipe, and he responded "yes". It was completely nasty, and I asked for a substitution (chicken & waffles) but Natalie told me she had to ask her supervisor for approval.- Weird. One of my friends ordered the $20/person bottomless mimosas- only to be given orange juice for her second order. We were given our checks before even asking for the checks. Ultimately there was a complete gap of experience from the moment we sat down, to the food, and to the service. Natalie periodically checked in to see how we were doing. I did not feel comfortable nor welcomed just due to appearance. My group felt rushed from the moment we ordered. From my second experience there is a glass mirror target audience/look when going to the restaurant. If you are wearing more laid back (joggers, T-shirt, flip flops) and not "looking the part" it would be best to just order your food to go.

This place is so fun. I've been with a friend & we took our spouses there. The food is always great. Music is vibing, mimosas always slap. Whoever is in the back frying that chicken, PLEASE, give em a raise! We come in from KY just for the chicken & mimosas. 10/10.

My friends and I just love coming to The Marquee. We have came for brunch, and lunch and the food is always really good and we always have a great time. It's also a very dope vibe in there and the music is always jammin'. For brunch, I highly recommend you getting there as early as possible because it does get packed very quickly. You honestly can't go wrong with anything that you choose on their brunch menu. Their Lobster Rockefeller is made with creamy pesto pasta, lemon garlic aioli, & topped with parmesan cheese. Ya'll..it was so bomb! The Chicken & Waffles at the Marquee are also really good. You can choose from a red velvet or a buttermilk waffle and you can also choose what flavor you want on your wings. I chose the sweet and spicy wings with my buttermilk waffle and it was a very tasty combination. The Southern (not pictured) is also a brunch favorite of mine. Their catfish sliders (also not pictured) on their dinner menu are also really good. I can't tell you how many times that I've ordered them. lol The service here is always great too so if you haven't been to The Marquee yet, you should definitely check them out.

I love the vibe and how this place looks on the inside. It's definitely a vibe. A friend recommended this spot for brunch. I will say the only reason they are getting 3 stars is because the unlimited mimosas taste like water. I recommend just buying the bottle for $25 and pouring juice yourself. They pre-mix the champagne with juice and to me it makes the champagne flat just sitting like that. Also my shrimp and grits were not good at all. The grits had no flavor. They put the shrimp and sausage on top with this sauce which made it a little better but not much. The grits need flavor cause they literally just boiling it in water and sending it out. The wings were the best thing I had. I would probably give them another chance just because our waiter Alexxa was the BEST! I have to tell the truth she was so sweet and patient. I really liked her. The vibe was good and the music. If you have high blood pressure order the shrimp and grits your pressure won't go up because there is no salt added.

When I arrived, the place was empty. Maybe 2 tables with patrons. I gave them my name for my reservation, and they sat me at the bar... I was not happy. I wanted a table to MYSELF. I could have just walked in for that. I did express my disappointment for making a reservation and still being sat at the bar, but I just stayed at the bar (why?? IDK). The music was SUPER loud at the bar; I expressed that and they adjusted the sound, which was nice! The actual space is BEAUTIFUL. Old building, but elevated decor. PERFECT for date night or girls' night. The bathroom is gorgeous and clean; there's a huge, gorgeous mirror right outside for you to take pics in. See below, lol. I told the bartender what brought me in and he congratulated me. Very kind! He helped guide me through the menu and informed me of the 5 & 10 course options. I decided to go with a la carte items. The menu had a lot of upscale items, that I would prob never try, i.e. frog legs & caviar, or items I'm allergic to, lol. I started with the dead leaves and the dirty ground for my drink. It was good. Not too sweet. I opted for the Pasta Burro e Parmigiano. I mean... It was good. Nothing to write home about. It honestly gave buttered noodles with parm cheese & truffle. I low key want to come back and try the halibut or the poutine fries. My bill was $50+ and I left hungry. I think I will come back when I'm spending someone else's money.

I took my boyfriend here last night for his 24th birthday celebration, and boy did it exceed every expectation. When we first arrived, we were taken aback by the waterfall feature at the front door. We genuinely thought we were at the wrong entrance. Turns out it was entirely intentional, and in the excitement of the evening, we forgot to ask about the story behind it. A fun little mystery to solve on our next visit. We arrived about 30 minutes early and were welcomed warmly from the moment we walked in. The staff gave us a lovely intimate table with a great view of the restaurant's eclectic decor and designs. The ambiance struck the perfect balance, lively and engaging without being so loud that we could not have a real conversation, which for my partner and me is genuinely one of the most important aspects of a dining experience. Since we both work incredibly busy schedules, this was not only a birthday celebration but our first proper date night in quite a while, and the atmosphere made it feel truly special. The staff even surprised us with a complimentary prosecco for the birthday, something we were absolutely not expecting and deeply appreciated. On the drinks side, although I am not personally a big drinker, my boyfriend loves exploring new spirits and cocktail combinations. The bartenders were fantastic: knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about their recommendations across both wines and spirits. They made the whole experience feel curated rather than transactional. Now, let me tell you about Jelly. Our server Jelly was, without question, the highlight of the entire evening, and that is saying a lot given how spectacular everything else was. I have a severe pineapple allergy, and if you dine out with food allergies, you know the usual routine. The server writes it down, maybe glances at it when the food arrives, and you spend the whole meal quietly hoping for the best. Jelly was on an entirely different level. She went completely above and beyond, meticulously checking every food option and wine pairing to ensure nothing contained pineapple and that there was zero risk of cross contamination. When a wine bottle did not clearly list its ingredients, she did not guess or assume. She looked it up on the internet right then and there to confirm it was safe for me. That gesture might sound simple, but for someone with a severe allergy, it is everything. It communicates that she genuinely cared about my wellbeing, not just about getting through her tables for the night. I felt completely taken care of, safe, and able to relax and enjoy myself without the anxiety that usually accompanies dining out with an allergy. Jelly, if you ever read this: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are exceptional at what you do and an absolute asset to Blood & Sand. And now, the food, which was nothing short of breathtaking. From the presentation, to the pacing and timing, to the extraordinary depth of flavor on every plate, the food at Blood & Sand is spectacular and amazing in the truest sense of both words. My boyfriend and I had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. We had originally hoped for the 10 course, but it was not being offered that evening. No matter, because the 5 course delivered more than enough to leave us completely floored. The evening opened with a palate initiator of carrots, goat cheese, and walnuts. I will be honest, I was not excited. Carrots and goat cheese are genuinely two of my least favorite foods on the planet. But I gave it a try and it was absolutely heavenly. A perfect encapsulation of what this kitchen does: it takes ingredients you think you know and transforms them into something you cannot stop thinking about. My absolute favorites of the evening were the tuna carpaccio, the wagyu flank steak, and the pierogis. Each one was cooked and composed to perfection. Everything melted in my mouth and left me wishing the courses would never end. My one constructive note is on the oyster course. I love oysters and eat them often, so I was genuinely looking forward to this one. The portion, two very small oysters with modest accompaniments of horseradish, a small salsa, and lemon, felt a little light even by tasting menu standards. I would love to see either four oysters at that size or two larger ones. It was gone so quickly and felt slightly out of step with the generosity of every other course. That small note aside, Blood & Sand delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had in a long time. Every single person on that floor, from the bartenders to the host to the incredible Jelly, went above and beyond to make the night comfortable, fun, intimate, and genuinely special. We will absolutely be back, and next time I will not wait so long given that I practically live next door.

The space is intimate, stylish, and perfectly appointed -- the kind of place that feels like you've stumbled into a secret little jewel box in the city. It's cozy in the best possible way, with an atmosphere that invites laughter, celebration, and maybe just a little fabulous mischief. The bartenders? Absolute pros. Warm, welcoming, and clearly masters of their craft. Naturally, I ordered my classic gin and tonic, and it was perfection in a glass -- crisp, balanced, and exactly what a proper G&T should be. I heard from the birthday boy and his wonderful wife that the owners were incredibly accommodating, and you could feel that hospitality throughout the entire evening. Everything felt effortless and welcoming -- the kind of place where people clearly care about creating a great night. And then... the party truly began. We had drag queens serving glamour and joy, music, laughter echoing through the room, and pizza delivered from the birthday boy's favorite local pizza spot that honestly deserves its own standing ovation. If you want to know where that pizza came from, drop a comment -- because it was outrageously good. By the end of the night I couldn't stop thinking: this place really is a Hidden Gem. A perfect little pocket of St. Louis where good drinks, great people, and a bit of fabulous chaos come together. Sparkle-tastic. Gem-tastic. Pure joy. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!

We arrived a little after 11 and found a space in the back parking lot. The lot is convenient as it's pretty well-lit and is diagonal from the CF. Upon first glance, you'll notice the hanging lights above the entrance and then after a few feet, the bar is immediately to the right. The tables are all along the left side as to make a walkway for the bar (super convenient). Due it being their anniversary, it was a bit crowded but not too bad where you couldn't get a drink or walk through. My usual go-to is a flavored vodka (three olives grape) and sprite. While they had a plethora of spirits, sadly this wasn't one of them. They had other flavored vodkas but I opted to get a simple Cosmo while my friend got a makers and coke. The Cosmo was just what I needed and might I add, well made! After we got our drinks, we did a quick walk through of the other side called The Oddities (coming soon), as well as the upstairs that overlooks the entire place. The stairs are steep, so it would behoove you to hold on to the railing. While I love trying new places, I was a bit apprehensive because I thought I'd stick out like a sore thumb. Turns out, everyone was friendly, the drinks are great, and the music wasn't bad! They had different acts going on for this particular evening (I'm not sure if this is the norm), but I know my friend is a regular on Tuesday's for karaoke. I do intend to come back and try out some more drinks and food and check out the other place once it officially opens.

I ordered the strawberry rhubarb pie mixed drink which came with a little side of dessert. I loved the drink itself but the fruit in the dessert was definitely past its prime and I ended up eating around it. We also got the wash ave flatbread for the table. We all loved the crunch of the giardiniera on the flatbread and it was a great plate to split for the table. I do wish prices were included on the menus just for visibility. Would definitely stop in again to try another drink from the menu!
