Food was delicious with many options. Service was a little slow due it being Friday night and they seem to get a lot of to-go orders so they were busy. Not 5 because we had 6 of us, we all ordered a dish. They delivered everyone's dish but mine and never came back to check on us. Came here on an early Sunday for lunch. This place exceeded expectations for food and vast options on their menu. Our party of 3 adults and 2 kids got enough food to last us that entire day. Definitely a hidden gem in North Tacoma! This restaurant was definitely hard to find - the sign is small and hidden but I'm glad I was able to locate it. Came here for lunch on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all; we were greeted and seated right away. The interior was very clean, very modern looking. The server was very kind as well from the start of the meal to finish. There's a lot of options for food, but I decided to go for the egg foo young after seeing many people praising it on Yelp and I definitely didn't regret it! Such an improvement on the pho place that used to be in this space. It's very close to my apartment so it's convenient also. I ordered my menu test items of shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork bahn mi, and was not disappointed at all I did add a little chili paste to my peanut sauce to spice it up a little but that is the only negative comment I could have. The service was excellent and the place is very clean. I'll be back on the first cold and rainy day to try the pho. This place is absolutely the best in town. We have been going to Souper Pho since they opened. The food is consistently excellent, and the service efficient and friendly. If you ever feel under the weather, a bowl of their outstanding Tom Kha soup will warm you up, clear your sinuses, and make you feel 1000 times better. It has powerful aromatics (lemon grass, lime leaves, ginger) in a delicious coconut broth. I get it with tofu and a side of rice. Amazingly good. read more

Love this place! We used to constantly order take out during the thick of quarantine and so once we were able to dine in it was like a breath of fresh air! The people are incredibly friendly and down to earth. My husband asked to have any meal that the owner suggested at her discretion and he was most pleasantly surprised! First time trying this place today. Craving Chinese and found this place on Yelp. We were so happy with the restaurant and our meals! Love the diversity of the menu, and the staff was super! I had the honey walnut prawns with egg fried rice and my husband had the lemongrass chicken, both were super tasty! Very fresh! Pricing very fair for what you get. The location is in a strip mall we've driven by so many times, never noticed it before. I had the Egg Foo Young w/ Chicken lunch special. It came w/ choice of 2 veggie egg rolls or 2 potstickers and white rice. I chose the egg rolls and substituted fried rice for $2 extra. Overall, this was a good value. The portion size was adequate, and the egg foo young itself very tasty. The rice was a bit on the bland side. Everything tasted fresh. A few days ago I went and had a lovely meal with family and a VN friend. We all had different meals. The teriyaki chicken was moist and flavorful, vegetables were just right. Pad thai was delicious and plentiful. The beef Pho was just right according to my VN pal. The broth tasty and noodles were just right with plenty of beef. It is a great place. As strip mall food joints go, this is a good quality, low cost option. There's a variety of pho options, bahn mi, noodle and rice plates, and some seemingly random selections of Thai curry and Chinese style dishes. I had tofu egg foo young, boyfriend had a bahn mi and some potstickers. Egg foo young itself was good, it was a big portion, and it was very hot and crispy. The gravy was the only disappointment here as it was... if not straight up jarred Heinz chicken gravy, it was within the same genre level as jarred gravy. Not saying it was bad necessarily but it seemed out of place served on egg foo young. I'm not sure what gravy on egg foo young is traditional so perhaps this is exactly what it was supposed to be, I dont know as I am highly uncultured. So I'm back to give some more well-deserved stars after my recent visit. The Egg Fu Young was just too perfect!! When I asked what type of chicken they used, the owner was very kind to ask me what type of chicken I wanted in the Egg Fu Yong, explaining that many like the grilled style since it's similar to the BBQ pork. I have always preferred the breast meat not to be the grilled sort and he was very accommodating and let me choose!! Then you have the delicious vegetables and sprouts amongst the crispy, fluffy patties and the flavorful, generous cup of gravy on the side ....I was transported back to my 1970's restaurant Cantonese style heaven experience where I marveled at the new 'exotic' flavor on my 6 year old tongue! I really only needed one of the patties, but it was so good I couldn't resist dipping into number two as I reflected back on my first time trying Chinese style food. Mmmm. I won't go back. For the prices the quality of food left something to be desired. The service is fast a quick but my mom ordered a dish and it wasn't what she thought. They didn't offer to fix it. Just found this spot a couple of weeks ago and have been here twice. Both times I got the souper pho and it was delicious. The broth is light and, didn't need to add hoisin or sriracha, just some jalapeños for heat. The tendon melts in your mouth and the meat tasted fresh. We also got the souper fried rice and Singapore noodles to go. Both are equally as good as the pho and large portions to boot. Restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Little hole in the wall in a Shopping Center parking lot. Major find, my only regret being that I live an hour away. We shared beautiful potstickers (8). Wife's grilled chicken bahn mi is good, and she is quite particular about bahn mi. My Singapor rice noodles is a big portion. I asked if I could get it w/o pork, the server suggested beef instead. It is one of the best ever. Bean sprouts were bright, veggies were fresh, peeled whole shrimp were perfectly done. My score us 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this place, and hope we have reason to work our way through the Soup and Thai sections of the menu. My boyfriend and I wanted to find a new pho place to try, decided to check this place out. We got vegetable egg rolls for an appetizer, they were good. I got a small vegetable pho. It came with fried tofu. Generous amount of tofu and noodles. I wish it had more vegetables though. The broth was good, but not my favorite. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich and panang curry. I took a bite of the sandwich, we both thought it was great. Moist and good flavor. He liked the curry a lot, it had lots of vegetables and chicken. Service was very nice. We were seated right away. We recently moved about 2 minutes away from this place and it has quickly become our go-to. They are usually very fast and always very friendly. My husband says the counter is always so full of takeout orders!! The pho broth isn't quite as bold as some other places, but I honestly prefer that. Portion size is fantastic and the price is just right. We have gotten their Chinese style dishes, but probably won't order that again. Definitely recommend their pho, bahn mi, and apps.
